Excellent Bed, Extremely caring staff”

The Series Resort surprised me and my wife in many many ways. First, they remembered my casual remark via email that it was our anniversary vacation and they surprised us on the first night with a cake and hand-drawn anniversary card. And this was excellent for me, who did not plan any romantic activity in the first place. First impression for my wife (who is a perfectionist), is that the King-size (or is it super king?) bed is extremely comfortable. Snacks and drinks at the bar replenished daily and all complimentary. Surroundings quiet and peaceful and serene. When we first arrived, I saw a gecko and less than 2 dead bugs lying in the bath room, but we thought it's perfectly fine for a resort that is in the middle of wilderness. In fact, it's already very clean considering that we are surrounded by the tropical rainforest. This resort is about 15min drive away from the famous International and Thai eateries along the main touristy road that starts with the entrance to Khao Yai National Park and ends with the two famous Midwinter Green and Rib Mann Restaurants. As we rented a car from Bangkok, we did not enquire if there's resort transfer. I doubt so. Anyway, if you are travelling within Khao Yai, I suggest getting a car or motorbike on your own, unless you intend to cycle or run (omg) from place to place. But the greatness of this resort is that it is far enough to attain serenity and near enough to eateries and attractions. Overall, a lovely experience, from great serene location to lovely staff, to good breakfast and high tea. We will return.

Best hotel I’ve stayed in ”

Easily the best hotel I’ve stayed in so far. Whatever you have read in other reviews are all true. Room is clean and extremely beautiful. The bed is comfy the bathtub is amazing, the products they used smell great. I Almost wanted to ask them whether they sell it. The little surprises that they kindly throw in are so sweet and memorable. We are very pleasantly surprised with the surprises and thoughts they put in to make sure all guests feel at home. The complimentary tea set, the breakfast, the good bye drinks are all very delicious! Smiley and welcoming staffs make the stay a good experience. The small number of rooms in the resort make it possible for the staffs to attend to each guest with personalised service, which I think is something worth mentioning. Basically nothing to complain about. The series resort is such a wonderful stay that they put the Bangkok hotel I stayed in to shame. Khao Yai was a nice place to visit and the series resort is a must go to if you are visiting Khao Yai. Thank you for making our one night stay a memorable one. :)

Amazing Service”

I've been travel around and mostly stayed at 4-5 stars hotels. The Series Resort Khaoyai give the best services I've ever met and exceed my expectation. The staff are full of service mind, friendly and polite. They may give you a surprise, which is small gift, during your stay and that is your job to find out what it is. The facilities here were great. The room is very well cleaned. The bed and pillow are very comfortable. The bathroom has a big Jacuzzi with a plenty of bath foam for you to spend. The hotel will provide you a free 'afternoon tea' starting from 2.00 pm. The afternoon tea set are good they serve you with a variety of dessert and give you a finish with Haagendaz ice cream. The breakfast is very nice. They provide you a free unlimited 'a la carte' style. Please note that they serve you a big portion each dish. The hotel location is not too far from the interesting tourist spot in Khao Yai area. Conclusion is highly recommended.

Very well run hotel that pays attention to the details”

Overall I was very impressed with this hotel. It's a little bit away from the main part of Khao Yai/National Park but that suited us. The resort felt secluded and was very tranquila and well maintained. The staff were very attentive and seemed committed to high quality customer service. On checking in we had a very good welcome drink (these are common in Thailand but this was well above avaerage) and we were given a tour of the resorts main features before being taken to our room. When booking I didn't realise that the rate included complimentary Afternoon Tea (which was always excellent) and a free minibar (soft drinks only). The restaruant/bar was very good, breakfast was excellent and they did good cocktails at very reasonable prices (mostly around 280THB). Another nice touch came when we checked out and were given complimentary coffee/juice and cookes before being walked to our car. The room was also excellent and very relaxing.

Fantastic escape.”

Chose The Series Khao Yai after staying at several other resorts here previously. We stayed during off peak season it's the staff that made our experience exceptional The resort is small, with just 24 rooms so you never feel like just another number. A hand written note from the team welcomed us in our room and although we arrived after the afternoon tea had finished, we were offered an assortment of cakes and ice cream along with a coffee made to order delivered to our room. The rooms are modern, clean with nice views. The grounds are impeccably maintained. The pool and gym are clean and offer a really nice place to relax and unwind. The restaurant served a delicious dinner with a good selection and again, the service was perfect. Breakfast offered a good range and again the service was spot on. I have stayed at many resorts in Khao Yai but this without doubt the best I have experienced. I really wish we had stayed 2 or 3 nights. Thank you to all the staff for a great stay.

Friendly staff and great atmosphere”

This is a boutique resort with only 24 rooms in a very quiet and peaceful setting (with the pools being the focal point of the hotel). The staff have excellent attitude, warm, and pay attention to details. Breakfast is all-you-can order type of buffet and the quality of the sausages, beacon, and ham was excellent. We also ordered room service pricy and the price was very reasonable for a hotel in this class. We had been to a few other resorts in Khao Yai and would say the room size is on the small side for this price range. Location wise, the hotel is not on the busiest strip of Khao Yai, but you will find some restaurant within 2 to 3 km. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay at the Series

Real 5 Star Resort in Idylic Location”

The Series Khao Yai lays in a very idylic location in the Hills of Khao Yai. Even the check-in was a real treat. Very good staff all over the Resort. Very nice Rooms, a bit small but with a nice Balcony, overlooking the scenic Area. Wonderful Swimming Pool, but only with 6 beds. A real generous Teat-Time with Cookies, Sandwiches or Pizza and good fresh Coffee. The Breakfast is real nice too, the quality of the food and Coffee is higher than other Resorts in Khao Yai. We had a wonderful and relaxing time in Series the Khao Yai.

First Choice Hotel in Khao Yai”

This the hotel that me and my wife are looking for and we found it. The Series Resort located in Khao Yai is the best resort in terms of customer service, room cleanness, room amenities and design, all are so unique and thoughtful . All the staffs are very friendly and its like an old friend, very cheerful, helpful and you cant have any complaint about it. Trust me, the staffs will make sure that all their customers will be well taking care of..... Too bad I only remembered Miss Namtan and hopefully will be able to visit and stay in Series resort in the near future. Bonaventure Yang

Everything about this resort is perfect! Its surrounding is nice, its room is nice, it has very good service from all its staffs! Very personalised staff service were rendered to us, a family of four with two rooms booking. Love its breakfast and afternoon tea! Amazing friendly and beautiful staff”

The staff were extremely polite and welcoming we had lots of complimentary food. The price was cheap for how we were treated. Much better than any hotel I have stayed at before. Location is beautiful and very quiet at the resort, room was great and had a sick bath too. This is the best customer service I have experienced I would stay here again for sure ! Khao yai national park is not far and the resort is set in the mountains , beautiful views.

Excellent”

We stayed at The Series for one night (29 February 2020). Reviews that we had read suggested that the hotel was a treat. We weren't disappointed. The outstanding feature was the customer service - they have really thought hard about how to create customer delight. Lots of unexpected, unusual treats that I have never come across previously: the generous high tea when we arrived, the choice of coffees when we left, the sweet handwritten notes. The bathroom is the other stand out feature. I love what's happening in hotel design in SE Asia. Here, the bathroom runs the length of the bedroom, with the walk-in closet at one end, and the sunken bathtub at the other, next to the window. Two sliding doors. The room itself is a little small, but the lovely soft bed linen was superb. We left the balcony door open, put the mosquito net down, and slept deeply with the sounds of Khao Yai outside. Breakfast was lovely - for me, fruit and muesli with added nuts and raisins. We will return.

Superb Resort Great Service”

Beautifully designed boutique resort in a stunning location. Rooms are decorated to a very high standard with touch screen lighting and air con. Staff are extremely atentative, breakfast is superb with a choice of foods served on an open veranda overlooking the gardens and pool. Having stayed at many of the high end resorts in Khao Yai I would not hesitate to recommend this as probably the nicest. The price is extremely reasonable too. Hard to find a fault with The Series Resort. Would Highly recommend !! 👍

Exceptional service and beautiful resort”

We stayed at the Series Resort for two nights during the week together with our two children (13+17). The service at the resort has been excellent and especially welcoming. We enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea with a variety of sweets and Thai specialities. The food at the restaurant is a good mix of Thai and Western cuisine. The team of the resort is heart warming and very thoughtful. After our long day tour at the Khao Yai Nationlapark the staff surprised us with an early birthday cake for my wife. So lovely!

Greatest time during Christmas”

The resort is located in nature among trees and valleys of Khao Yai. Only 5-10 mins drive to restaurants and attractions including Khao Yai National Park. Superb restaurant on site. Great and very attentive staffs. The resort has pools, fitness and nice garden. Daily, free mini-bar and afternoon tea set with appetizers, drinks and ice cream.

Our favorite place from the whole vacation!”

We were in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand for three weeks and booked two nights here in our final week. What an amazing place!!! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful--we were greeted with a refreshing lemongrass juice (we're trying to figure out how to recreate it at home, it was so good) and cold towels. The room itself was gorgeous with a massive bathtub complete with rain shower head, a delightfully comfortable four-poster bed, and hanging couch on the porch. The infinity pool was the perfect temperature and had the best view of the sunset over the Khao Yai National Forest. The food was amazing too! The complementary tea service was very filling (more like lunch for us!) and the free breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The staff was the friendliest and most polite I have ever encountered--we felt so pampered here. We were both sad to leave! Even though we hadn't really planned on going back to Thailand, I might have to just to come here again.

Best Resort Staffs”

My wife, 2 sons, and I stayed at The Series Resort Khaoyai for 3 nights. We stay at Khaoyai every year during this period, therefore have experienced most of the nicest resorts and hotels in Khaoyai. What stands The Series Resort Khaoyai out from the other same high-end resorts and hotels is the hospitality of the resort staffs. Every one has great service mind, added with her/his own personal touch on how to treat their guests. Not only the great staffs, but complimentary afternoon tea every day while we stayed also distinguishes The Series Resort Khaoyai from the rest of the hotels.

Excellent Place to Relax!”

The Series Resort is a great place to relax and unwind. The weather is great and if you have a car, it is convenient to get around khao yai from the resort. However, if you've booked a resort as beautiful as this, I recommend you stay in and enjoy the environment and facilities. Food within the resort is reasonably good overall, the highlight would be the hi-tea that is available for all visitors. Would absolutely come again.

One of the best hotels for couples”

The Series Resort Khaoyai is the best option for couples looking to spend a relaxed time in Khaoyai. From the point we stepped in, to the point we left, the staff spared no effort in ensuring we were comfortable. What sets this hotel apart from the rest is the amazing attention to detail. We were immediately greeted with smiles when we stepped out from our car and then shown a tour of the resort's facilities. Each time we came back to the resort, there would be a staff who would come down and greet us, asking us if we had eaten and whether everything was going well. In addition to the breakfast, there is a complimentary high tea each day for resort guests, featuring some of the best food I have ever eaten. The rooms were beautiful with everything controlled by a tablet. And did I mention the view? Imagine looking at a sight of the mountains each time you wake up in the morning. All in all, no regrets for booking the resort for my honeymoon.

Awesome room with amazing facilities. The service exceeded beyond expectations. My mum birthday was 2 days later (by then we will check out of the hotel) and yet they surprised us the birthday cake on the first night! Definitely will go back to The Series Resort if I’m back to Khao Yai.

Enjoyed our 5D/4N stay thoroughly. Thank you to May & her team. The staff were friendly & speak good English. Appreciate that Ms Mint who checked us in was quick to note that we had bad knees. She placed us in the room on the ground floor nearest to main building. That was impressive. Room was well organised. Plenty of points for your electronic devices. Shower pressure really good. Big deep sunken bath tub was a nice touch but I think that some safety features shud be in place. You never know. A drunk person or a young kid may get hurt badly. Food was good. Not salty. Breakfast buffet- healthy choices. Only setback is if main course for breakfast is ala carte. The fried egg shud be cooked only once order is sent. But you know that it was cooked early & was served cold & hard. The Series will be my first choice in Khao Yai.
