Incredible, Quiet, Healthy”

This was a very pleasant surprise. The Spa has a very detailed fasting / cleansing program for those who wish to detox. It is located on the opposite side of the island to most of the mayhem and debauchery. This is the other side of Koh Chang, not just literally. This is Koh Change! This hotel is very secluded; there is virtually nothing around re: restaurants, but that doesn't matter because the menu is reasonably priced and offers the best food we tasted on our trip. Many delicious smoothies, juices, fresh coconut and the breakfast options are extensive and the amount of food somewhat overwhelming. This is not directly on the beach, but has a very nice pool & garden, and the option to kayak to a nearby fishing village. We got a free transfer to a local beach which was the best beach I've ever experienced in Thailand, for the sand, the cleanliness, the view and the amazing colourful fish. This place is a real gem.

Perfect calm accommodation for people preferring a healthy lifestyle”

The hotel is on the east coast of Kho Chang, about 20min drive with a scooter from central ferry point and about 30min drive from White Sand Beach. So keep that in mind if you think about going to party occasionally. I liked that the east coast is more quiet and not so busy like the west coast. Also the hotel is located at a mangrove Forrest and a small bay you can reach with a kayak. So 5 Stars for that. Price/ Service Ratio i have to make it 4 Stars only. I have to admit if I pay that much money (even in the time of Songkran) I would expect breakfast to be buffet every day or that I can choose from radiance restaurant menu card. Unfortunatelly every other day I could only choose my breakfast from a small variation on a paper sheet. Of Course the food from the menu was a little bit more expensive but nobody eats that much for breakfast anyway. Also the fruit platter always seemed to consist of papaya watermelon and pineapple. I‘m sure there is a wider selection of fruit in Thailand :) The facilities were very clean and well taken care off, also staff was always friendly and helpful, regardless of language barrier or facing rude guests. So 5 Stars for that. The infrared sauna was not working and some small spots in the room could be taken care off because they are a little bit run down. So 4 Stars. But nevertheless great looks still! All in all I would recommend this hotel to environment friendly thoughtful people who enjoy a quiet location with great offers for activities as well as wellness and spa and a sustainable principle of tourism. Will come back for sure!

This place is special!!!”

A secluded resort tucked away in the beautiful forest of Koh Chang. What an amazing setting and an excellent job to being that place together. There is no other resort I would have rather stayed at. The spa at Koh Chang is for those looking for relaxation, everything else you need is easily accessible. Staff is amazing, food is excellent and the services and ammenities are perfect!

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The hotel and room were lovely. The hotel offers different activities for you to participate in, some are free and some you have to pay for. The spa service was great, and very relaxing. The staff at The Spa Koh Chang were amazing. They were very friendly and helpful. The hotel away from most other attractions, but it is very relaxing and peaceful.

Peaceful resort set in quiet natural surroundings”

So peaceful, so quiet. All the staff were great and spoke reasonable English. Set off the road away from the busy parts of the island. There isn't much around but they hotel takes you out 5 days a week to sights. The room was very clean, the wifi good . breakfast had good choices. Nice freshly squeezed juices and smoothies. Food had , raw, vegetarian as well as standard Thai and Western. You can ask about ingredients the staff seem to know. We didn't have a package or were doing a juice fast but the place wasn't busy and we did try the spa. The massage was so peaceful only the sounds of spa music and nature. Beware of mosquitos but the four poster bed had netting and we had creams. Only stayed 2 nights and we were upgraded as the Oriental rooms are being renovated. If you can afford the villas it is worth the extra.

The most beautiful hotel or spa that either of us had ever stayed in with an amazingly friendly and helpful staff, Mrs Nam, Ton, Kwang and Pang are truly wonderful! The rooms are so comfy and romantic, and the views, locale and pool are gorgeous. The only drawback is that the east side of the island can be somewhat isolated, most of the well known beaches and towns are on the west side and a songtaew can cost 800-1000 baht to take you there, but the spa restaurant is so good and the stay so nice we rarely even wanted to venture to the other side. The spa is also very close to than mayon and a few other waterfalls where you can lay around and swim with some man eating fish.

Quiet and Relaxing”

We had a wonderful stay at The Spa and took advantage of meditation, yoga, massages and bicycle amenities while we were there. Had an excellent experience and would highly recommend - staff were lovely and very accommodating of our need to leave early in the morning, even providing breakfast on the go. We stayed in the Oriental rooms, which were lovely although a little dark. It wasn't busy when we were there, although one night we did hear our neighbours through the walls. One note - be aware that The Spa is located on the east side of the island, away from the main villages and quite isolated. You will not be able to pop to a store or restaurant, and catching a ride to nightlife areas will cost you a fair amount (We were quoted 1000 baht for the 2 of us, each way, mid day from White Sands. Night is probably significantly more.). If you want to have snacks or alcohol for relaxing on your patio, you might want to pick them up on your way here and settle in for an isolated stay.

Most valuable luxury resort in Koh Chang”

Spent one night here for my boyfriend's birthday. I got a super cheap deal through Agoda, and we had a lovely spa day/night. This place is gorgeous, lovely garden and pool area. The staff are helpful, and the masseuse are skilled. There's a high emphasis on health, and when it came to their menu it was very helpful for any diet. There's raw food, vegan and vegetarian, but also a lot of other yummy things they served. I ordered a tofu burger here which was so-so. They had added something healthy which made the patty very bitter, but I'm sure that I'd get something else if I asked for it. All in all the restaurant experience was very pleasant. I enjoyed our stay a lot, and my boyfriend got a great birthday here. Thank you!

Great place very quite, large room and bathroom, healthy food. Top massages and very gentle staff. The perfect place to stay in Koh Chang, far from tourist areas.

Spa Camp”

after arriving and finding out that the jacuzzi is cold, the sauna costs money and you have to reserve space in 30min. intervals, thanapat, the manager, was nice enough to move me to the oriental room (more than enough space for 1 woman.) however, since they've "already charged me," i was told i could use the money for what i spend in the spa and other places. unfortunately, when you move into the oriental room, you get overly used towels & no bathrobes...and if your neighbor likes to watch movies really loud until late at night, you get to hear it. one cool thing: free trip to a private island from 12-3pm on mwf. i went twice and they provide towels, water, and a straw mat. free morning meditation! afterwords is yoga & is 400bhat/morning.

Very tranquil, best spas, value-for-money”

Staffs were amazingly helpful & friendly. The spa package were luxurious. You have basically everything you need over there to fill your time, beautiful landscapes, lush greeneries and lots of activities to be done. Generally an awesome resort if you want to escape from the hustle & bustle of the city life. Great programme for detox, less guided but you have a lot of privacy and free time. I give it a 4/5 rating! 👍🏻

Quiet, relaxing and beautiful”

Very nice resort, we had a good deal on agoda which made our accommodation extremely good value, especially compared to other places on the island. Staff is extremely attentive and friendly. The food in the restaurant is good, but very pricey. We ended up paying as much for food as for our stay, even though we didn't eat all our meals there. Location is away from the beach or villages so keep that in mind.

Honeymoon homerun!”

Quiet and so relaxing. Loved the soft bed sheets/pillows and full body shower. The restaraunt was amazing. (Except the bitter greek salad) . Their Spa rice was the best kow pad I've had in Thailand in 10 years. Walking around the garden there was so many different flowers you would see them open day to day. Nearby Salok Kok Seafood was a must go. Rode our motorbike to long beach , what an awesome secluded beach straight out of a movie. You tube said was a dirty beach, but found out it recently was cleaned by a group of 50 people and was pristine. There were only 3 other tourists there. White knuckle mountain road to long beach was like a rollercoaster but what a rush! We will go back next year for sure.

a place to detox and relax”

Good value for money, we had a great stay It's far from everything but that's also good, cause it's surrounded if lushios nature. Good place to relax, have time for yourself and eat healthy food. I would definitely recommend it for those that doesn't come to koh chang for the party.

Not Just for Women”

I was here two years ago and there were more male travelers--and not just because their wives were dragging them there. People come here to detox but this part of the island is still underdeveloped enough that the craziness that vacations in Thailand is avoided. The place is truly working on its ecological footprint in being sustainable despite growing (there were newer parts to the resort since last time and not at the cost of the beauty it holds.) It a great getaway.

Little paradise ”

Absolutly lovely and very beautiful little Resort. It takes a while to get there but it‘s worth all the driving. Cosy Bungalows with tasteful furniture and a very nice pool. The staff is extremly helpful! Highly recommended.

If you are looking for peaceful paradise away from crowd on east side and open to try real being in well organized resort, with authentic saulty pool and vegan/vegetarian/raw friendly menu in restaurant and atmosphere of universal harmony and awareness in heart of jungle - must place for you. Already waiting to come again

very very small room”

i've booked the oriental room because all other types is fully booked on my required date. before booking, i've checked the resort review in many website. but all of reviews only have the picture of another roomtype, upper hill, single hill and lower hill, but not the the oriental room. in the pictures, their rooms look so great that i decided to book the room with them. upon my arrival, i've found that my room is so very very small that it's so hard to even fit 2 people in it. i don't know if it's the reason why they never put this room in the review. when i came back at night after a long day of travelling in koh chang, i found that there's no security guard at the resort and it looks so unsecured. so i and my friends decided to leave the rooms and find somewhere else to stay. if you love nature and privacy, here is a good choice. the location is a bit far though.

Nice Experience”

Overall, the Spa Koh Chang is a nice place to stay. There is nothing outside the hotel. The restaurant is OK but not as good as the one at Spa Koh Samui.
