Best Hotel We've Ever Stayed in!”

The pump track and skate park are outstanding. We took our own skateboards to use but you can also rent a selection of BMX and hardtail jump bikes from the hotel for 200 Baht/hour. The track is quite smooth and well maintained with lots of routes to take. The long pool is also really cool and has two fast slides and a kids play area. We spent most of our time alternating between the pump track and the pool. Absolutely knackered after our stay there! Our family room was clean, beds comfortable and it's modern and well designed. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Finally, the location is excellent. Just a short walk away from the local market. There was a fair on there when we went too. You can also see the trains coming and going right by the hotel.

Nice hotel, best in the area!”

We enjoyed our stay at Velo's. The hotel is very clean, spacious and nicely laid out. It has a nice pool, gym and its own cycle and bmx track if you're feeling like a little exercise. I love the hotels bike theme, a lot of thought has been put into it. The rooms are a decent size, comfortable beds, blackout curtains, good wi-fi signal and good size bathroom. Breakfast was very good catering to both Western and local travellers. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only negative remarks is that there was a bad smell from the bathroom drain, it's a new hotel so there is probably blocked pipe somewhere along the line. Also I couldn't find any English TV channels. Other than that it was an excellent hotel and I would happily stay here again. We travel to this city often and I personally feel it's the best hotel available.

Excellent hotel with bike theme”

Positive The owner must be a bike lover and has a good taste. This kind of hotel with bike track is not very common. The swimming pool was awesome especially the slider, shower etc. The outside view is nice. Staff are friendly, no complain. The room was ok for us. Negative The bathroom was inside the room separated by a glass door. Its not pleasant. The same door for toilet and bathroom either/or. Symulteneously both cannot be used. Bikevrent 200 baht per hour seemed a bit costly. Still anybody would like to stay near border, i would definitely recommend Velo's Hotel.

Everything is excellent but staffs.”

It was total new and BMX track is amazing. Only staffs were terrible in communication, they spoke only Thai. 1 hours after internet reservation, my family went the hotel and tried to check in. My misery started from that moment. Those staffs kept failing of checking out my information. No record of my reservation at all. None sense. Even though I showed them my confirmation email, they didn't understand what the confirmation doc means. I felt my family spent million years just in front of cool pool and track. Staffs did not seem well-trained and professional. Besides them, every thing including low beds and facilities were great.

The BMX Park located within the hotel premises is something unique. For the price I'm paying,it is a hotel i would definitely return to one day.

Very attractive location with good service for the value price”

I booked pool view room which located on the 3rd flr facing to the track. The room is very clean and well equipped similar to all 3 stars up hotels. BTW, there is no elevator to upper flr so beware for travellers with luggages. Not sure if the the room is sound proof coz during the time of our visit, on the 2nd night there was a temple festival which had the concert from 9pm to 6am next morning. Basically, we did not sleep on our 2nd night. Well, may be it was our lucks. The pool is nice with small water park for kids. There is a gyms room available as well for family. The location is closed to many attractive places. This place is recommend for traveller with own vehicle.

Go to Bike”

The breakfast selections were very limited, not much for non-Thais. Bike track was difficult for non adventure kid bikers but ok for those with experience. There is a track around that is flat so we ended up using it. The hotel had very thin walls and we could not sleep at all the first night as tv from neighbors. restaurant floor was dirty. If passing this area, it is a descent hotel with newer rooms than most, but bring ear plugs and ask for ground floor as they have no elevators

Great hotel”

Very friendly staff... the bell-boy speaks english and recommend some tourist attraction/places nereby. Room are very clean. Please notice that this hotel have no elevator, if you bring elderly along then you have to book the ground floor room... Excellent hotel AAA+++

Nice style but average hotel standart; poor breakfast”

We liked the bicycle theme of the hotel, but that's all about it. Agoda messed up our booking which was automatically transferred to booking.com without our knowledge! Booking.com then made a reservation for the wrong room type. Took us quite long to solve this issue. BMX rental fee is THB 200 / hour which is reasonable. We didn't use the pool because there is no privacy at all due to the pool access rooms and it didn't look inviting to us. The room itself (Deluxe Poolview) was very nice, clean and big. The breakfast, however, was quite poor with very few meal choices. Close to Rong Gluea market.

Good rooms, staff are nice. Good choice in a town where options are limited. Interesting bike track out the front!

The distance from the hotel to other locations is quite good. It closed to the bus station.

Very nice hotel”

The hotel is very new and nice. The room is spacious with all amenities. Breakfast is ok though there are not much variety of foods. This hotel is very convenient for those who want to explore the city.

We enjoyed staying in pool accessed room even though it is a bit not private since the pool faced with the bump track. But the overall service was pleasant and the room facilities are brand new.

I do recommend for anyone who want to visit sakeaw for shopping at rongglua market especially if you have family. This is the place for relax. Nice pool. Great selection of breakfast. and 7-11 is very close by. We like this place a lot!

Good for bike lover”

Good hotel for ride the bike in BMX track and swim after that but do not expect the service. Staff : don’t have service mind and not friendly Breakfast : please avoid even coffee and milk is sooo old. Only can eat eggs, bread and water. Swimming pool : very good BMX track : very good

Very clean, Good location”

Cleaning staff was excellent and took very good care of our room. Pool view rooms face east and get harsh morning sun however there is a heavy drape you can close. There are 3 floors and no elevators or lifts. If you can't get up a stairway or have big, heavy bags ask for a ground floor. Pool is nice with two water slides. The reception staff is not very friendly. In four nights, twice our door key card didn't work which was inconvenient having to go back to the front desk from the 2nd floor to get it fixed. IMPORTANT: The bed was VERY comfortable and I got some of the best sleep I've had in quite a while. Overall it was a good place to stay.
