The 6 "rustic" and dated rooms were fine. The staff was pleasant, and the rooms were clean. It is really the only game in town. It is an hour to Ely NV. We arrived on Monday and there was no available food in Baker, so we drove back to the Diner/gas station at the state line.

Inside better than outside”
My family and I visited GBNP and since the campgrounds were closed, had no easy choice but to stay in town. I'm quite a finicky person but was somewhat surprised and slightly relieved that the inside of the room was better than how it looked on the outside.
