Excellent Boutique hotel in Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur”
Tian Jing is a beautiful boutique hotel retrofitted from 2 adjoining shophouses in the heart of Chinatown, KL. The concept and execution are wonderful and the rooms w/ outdoor bathrooms(!!!) are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is vegetarian and draws from the various cultural strands that make up Malaysia; it is also quite tasty and was a great and filling start to each day. The adjacent Lim Kee coffeeshop was a perfect place for an afternoon pick-me-up and the baristas know how to make a wonderful coffee drink. Finally, the staff were uniformly excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay and will return to Tian Jing when we are next in KL.

Unique”
I was looking for a place near KLCC and decided this was the one mainly based on the good reviews. It turned out to be as it is, a great hotel. I am out most of the time & needed a good place to rest & this hotel provided me comfortable bed + pillows (4 in total) + good working AC. They have fast wifi, & free coffee (once a day, 3 cups in total of 2 nights stay; freshly made from Lim Kee Cafe at the lobby). Love the outdoor shower + toilet and they provided mosquito coils (cuz it’s Malaysia & there are a lot here but surprisingly, I did not get bitten there). The process of checking in & out was smooth. There was always somebody at the counter but things get quite busy during lunch time. I was lucky to get an early check in even when I arrived an at 2pm, so I am really thankful for their fast service. I do wish, if they could add a small table + chair for me to do my work. Other than that, all is good. Thank you, Tian Jing hotel for providing me with such a pleasant stay.

Amazing stay right by Chinatown”
Tian Jing Hotel is located a street away from the busy Chinatown where the hustle and bustle is, but is still near enough for some enjoyment when you need it. It is quiet when it's time to turn down and amazingly, you don't actually feel like you're at Petaling Street anymore. Room is clean and gorgeously decorated with a touch of Asian history, and the views from the toilet is really zen. I find almost no fault in the stay, and you get a free drink at the Lim Cafe that's stuck to the hotel. Will come back again.

Amazing spot so pleasantly surprised”
On our last night of our month long trip, my girlfriend wanted a nice(expensive), quiet hotel and I wanted something cheaper and more centrally located. Little did we know, we could get both with the Tian Jing!!! Staff was incredible (we accidentally thought we got free breakfast and he gave it to us anyway even though we didn't pay! And they let us store our luggage for our final day! And free coffee in the hip coffee shop!). Location is awesome right in the middle of China Town next to great restaurants. The facilities are amazing! Actual hotwater with perfect water pressure in the amazing outdoor bathroom. Maybe we had low expectations from being in Thailand for a month, but either way this place blew them out of the water!

Excellent location”
I booked Tian Jing Hotel because of the location and it looked like the newest hotel. The location is excellent f your intention is to spend time in Petaling Street, Central Market and the floral st. The room are basic but comfortable. A few things to take note: there are no chairs, no lift (its only two floors and tissue box. Mosquito might be an issue (They provide net + repellent), the security lock in my room seemed a bit flimsy- I could pull the entire thing off). I paid for breakfast RM$15. The coffee was weak, the prata was nice, the toast was okay and the glutinous rice tasted a bit strange (I didn't finish it). Overall if I were to go back to Petaling Street, I would stay in this hotel and would recommend to my friends as well, but just to take note of the above. The staff are v. pleasant and I am sure if I had highlighted all the above, they would have done remedial work. They also helped me to carry my luggages up and down without any complaints at all, kudos to them!

Love the traditional air well hotel preserved with traditional elements”
This is a hotel not only the gimmick which just attracts tourists to have a stay and upload photos to Instagram. It is a very beautiful hotel near to the best community in the city: Chinatown. I really like how they apply the air well traditional architectural feature to all the private rooms especially the lowest floor with a garden, with natural lights and rain coming inside. If there is a chair it will be great for guests to sit in front of the garden to feel more relaxed. The hotel room is also appreciated as all the furnitures are in traditional style. I can enjoy the garden view on my bed as well, and before sleeping I liked turning off all the light in the room, leaving the only stage light on in the garden. The breakfast is a way to understand the Nanyang food culture. They also provide free and high quality drink every day in their coffee shop.

Simply Wonderful!”
Location is absolutely strategic if you're just here for a short time walking around Chinatown and visiting some temples and overall chill. Many food around so you won't get hungry. Pharmacies are super close by. Rooms are clean and spacious for me. The garden toilet was definitely the highlight of the room. The only thing missing for me was maybe a small mini fridge would be great. The staffs are very attentive. They don't have parking but you can park behind Hotel Nan Yeang and with the hotel stamp you can park for RM20/24 hours. Overall, i would definitely stay here again.

Gem in Chinatown”
This is a lovely hotel. Situated in the middle of Chinatown, KL and close to public transportation. the hotel has been lovingly restored from and the interiors are tastefully done, understated retro chic. The shower and the toilet is located at a private balcony, which lends it a bit of naughtiness. A must stay be it for a romantic weekend or a base for exploring KL.

WYSIWYG!”
What you see (in the photos) is what you get - & more! It's a great quiet retreat in the middle of bustling Chinatown. The room was spacious, the bed was comfy, the outdoor shower was cool, coffee was good. Value for money, I reckon.

Great Location & Nice Room”
I did not give a 5 star for cleanliness because there was a small BLACK stain of about 1 cm on my WHITE bed sheet. This is not acceptable. The worse thing to find in a hotel are stains, no matter how small on white sheets and white towels. Housekeeping must be vigilant especially when laying out the items. However even with the little downside we enjoyed our stay even though it was just for one night. Hotel is very quaint and the old world charm carries through to the corridors and rooms. Loved the interesting 'outdoorish' atmosphere of the toilet and shower area as we stayed on the ground floor room with a 'patio'. An inconvenience for me would be there's no fridge in the room as I need to keep my medicine cool at all times. So I'd to keep the room air condition running the whole time while the staff were helpful in freezing my ice pack in time for me to travel with it. The free coffee was a very nice touch. Ended up having 2 sessions of coffee and bought cakes/roti to go with it.

Strategic location and comfortable stay”
Highly recommend this place in Chinatown. Just a few minutes walk from the train station. Comfortable stay & love the outdoor garden view bathroom. It feels like being transported back into another era. Only downside were the mosquito coil that we extinguished because we could not stand the scent and the room is without a sitting chair.

Exceptional”
In the middle of Chinatown. Interior and Design is very nice. Room for breakfast is also well arranged . we could enjoy 2 drinks @ coffee shop downstairs. However open air shower booth is a little bit tough experience during rain season.

Love it!”
The layout and ambiance of the room w/ its facilities are wonderful! The fact that they tried to relay the concept of Chinese vintage what makes it wonderful. I love the concept of the outdoor washroom at the balcony; w/ the garden itself is another bonus point. Location wise are near to all cafes, 24hrs mini-mart, and also near to Pasar Seni MRT/LRT station. Those who wishes to have a late night meal the street around the hotel has lots of restaurants you can hangout about.

Exceptional”
What a gorgeous hotel, nice respite from the hustle and bustle outside! The location is really fantastic, you're literally steps away from great bars, local food and all sorts of shopping. The outdoor bathroom concept was a little unnerving at first, but really enjoyable once you hop in for a shower. Great for travelers, great for locals who want a staycation in the heart of town.

Superb good with no comments ”
The hotel is located at the middle of city and superb convenience to stay. The room is clean and tidy except no chair & table for certain room. But overall, is extremely good hotel to stay at. The staffs are very friendly, polite and helpful. You could also enjoy free cup of coffee too.

Great location, comfortable bed and good coffee”
Love the design of the hotel. Simple yet stylish. Very comfortable bed and we had complimentary coffees for our stays! We love the coffee. Only thing was the parking. Parking nearby is very expensive and would suggest to use public transport. MRT is closed to the hotel.

Chateau de Haven”
Chic, minimalistic and superbly authentic. This hotel is far more better than any other renowned 3/4 stars hotel that significantly gave the best classic and nostalgic feelings. Would recommend this to not only foreign tourist but also local. Feel the vibe!
