Within walking distance to the Tsukiji market and the Karasuma Okie station is just around the corner. The big plus is washing machine in the room with detergent provided. Supply of personal care eg face wash, lotion, etc are available at the lobby. We stayed in the standard queen room. Room size is compact but comfortable enough. Our friends were in the Annex (a different building on the same street) in the triple rooms. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Coffee machine and soft drinks provided at the lobby with magazines for guests to relax. Food at the hotel Restaurant is surprisingly good, too. We’re there for dinner the first night. Not many guests there so wasn’t very sure initially. It turned out to be delicious and good price. Overall very pleased with the stay and will stay again.

I really love this hotel! From the lobby to the room, everything is very new, clean and modern with stylish touches. The room is bigger than most hotels I've stayed in Japan. Location is superb, only 5 min away from the station and near many F&B outlets. You can also grab a variety of complimentary personal care items from the lobby including lotions and bath salts. Took a long bath both nights, which was so relaxing. Bonus was really the 2-in-1 washing machine and dryer, really convenient to do laundry. Had a fantastic stay here and I highly recommend this hotel!

The best hotel of my trip”
This hotel is just awesome. Modern looking and easy openings with the card. The staff was really kind and helpful, I really enjoy the free drinks (coffee and pops) available (time slot but quite huge). The coffee at the machine was so good that i was skipping the one of the breakfast (included) to take it there. The breakfast was diversify and the quality was okay. I have to admit i mainly focus on the fruit side and european style breakfast. I did tried the japanese breakfast and other style but i was not a big fan (not cooked as i am used to). I would definitively recommend this hotel to a friend! Also there is documents inside the hotel to help you visit the area. Last but not least, the WiFi was just perfect (no slow down, disconnexion or whatsoever issues) The only drawback noticed in most of the hotels of Japan (the check-in is 3pm sharp not 10min before)...

I’ve stayed in this hotel for 9days with a great view at high level (for attending international meeting), there are microwave and washing-machine in the room(u can get the washinpoder at lobby) so it’s convenient for business or long traveler stay. Also, they provides free drinks at lobby, nice traditional Japanese breakfast. Good location close to underground and bus stop as well as supermarket. Definitely recommend and will choose this hotel again when revisit Kyoto!

I highly recommend this hotel for the location, the staff and the amenities. It is a little hard to find as it’s on a small street but it’s only about two minutes from Karasuma Oike station which is one of the local subway entry points which takes you everywhere you need to go in Kyoto. The location is right smack in the middle of downtown Kyoto and a 10 min walk from Nishiki Market, multiple restaurants and bars. A huge Starbucks is on the corner if that’s your thing. The room is great but small for a family, we have just one son and it’s a tight squeeze but we don’t spend much time in our room. It’s also equipped with a washer/dryer which is a great bonus. Free soda and coffee maker downstairs. I would highly recommend, we stayed here for 8 days.

Room was clean. With lot of free stuff too at the lobby. Washer was also available. Excellent location, lot of cafes near the area. Station was a minute walk from hotel. Fave thing is that the bath was pretty spacious, tub can fit 2 persons!!

Tokyu Stay Kyoto was seriously amazing. Super comfortable bed with large rooms, amazing breakfasts and drink service in the lobby. Great staff with excellent customer service, perfect location down a nice quiet street but close to everything and anything you need. I wish we had stayed longer!

Best stay during our Japan trip. Spacious room. 2 min walk from subway station. Free coffee and cold drink in lobby until 11 PM. Lot of essential things to pick from lobby. Friendly staff. Washing machine and microwave in room was big plus. USB port for charging. Overall this was best stay during our Japan trip. I strongly recommend this place. Wish they had branches in Tokyo and Osaka as well.

The room is huge as I can nicely place 2 medium sized luggage and still be able to practise my yoga in the room! They have washing-dryer machine in the room as well. It is definitely helpful for us. There are 2 buildings - the main building and annex. They are just located opposite each other. Just need to take note to visit the main building for check in. The hotel is located just behind a subway station (probably 5 - 10 minutes).

This hotel is one of the best hotel I have ever lived in. The room is very spacious relative to other hotel in Japan. Very clean. The washing machine with drying function is great, with one pack of free washing powder provided. Cooking utensils and oven are great for saving money when i can cook A5 Wagyu beef from the supermarket. Free drinks provided from 7am-11pm, no need to worry about being thirsty. The bed is big and clean. The annex is very near to the subway station and bus stops. Walking distance to Nijojo Castle. Nothing to complain at all. and definitely to come again if visit Kyoto.

Right in the middle of Kyoto, this location is set back off of the main highway so it's very quiet, but let's you still be a brief walk away from the subway station and historical landmarks like Nijo-jo castle and the Imperial Palace. If I found myself in Kyoto again I would absolutely stay here again.
