Solid no thrill standard hotel. Ideal for an overnight stay.

Title says it pretty succinctly. Also the bed was perhaps the hardest mattress I have ever slept on at any hotel.

A few meters from Kofu station”

Stayed in Kofu overnight before I set off for Suntory Hokushu distillery. This budget hotel is strategically located just a few meters away from Kofu JR station. Complimentary breakfast from 6.30am. Simple but value for money.

big room for Toyoko inn”

We've visited this hotel during the way back to Tokyo from Alpen route, Toyama. It's the typical Tokoyo inn as you know. But what surprise me is the sizing of the room is bigger than standard. The staff, however, not fluent in English but she tried her best to explain everything to us. The hotel is very close to the train station, so it's very convenience to travel to another city.

I forgot to list our infant in our booking which then forced us to purchase a second room (we have 5 total people) and I understand as the rooms are small. The frustrating part was when I asked for an extra pillow for one of our kids. I was told they could not provide any extra pillows. No other alternatives just that they could not give us an extra pillow. Slightly disappointing after booking an additional room.

隣の部屋の音が少し気になったが、駅近で便利だった。 荷物も預かってもらえて観光しやすかった。 朝食が美味しかった。

駅から近くて清潔感ありコスパも良い。最近はなかなか予約が取れなくなってコロナ前に戻った感じです。

25日の夜以外は､静かでゆっくり出来ました。

週末のご飯事情”

ホテルは駅近く、飲み屋街にも徒歩８分ほど。コロナ少しおさまったせいか週末はどこも満員または行列。鳥モツ煮を食べようとしたけど有名店は週末は予約をとらないし21時には、新鮮なモツがなくなってしまうこともあってかラストオーダーです。17時頃に入るとかしかないかも。 ホテルの部屋は必要最小限で、トランクを広げるスペースぐらいは欲しいけど、まあ1~2泊なら我慢できちゃいます。 朝食は和食中心で皆さん精力的にご飯・味噌汁を食べてました。パンは袋に入ったミルクパンとイチゴ風味の二種類。コーヒーもカップで持ち出せるので、私は後者を手に早めに車で出発しました。市役所周辺の喫茶店は平日は7時だけど週末は９時から。余裕あれば楽しんで。
