Convenience, quality, and comfort for a reasonable price”
Pros- 1 minute walk from suehirocho subway station Ginza line, 7 minute walk to either akihabara or okachimachi stations on JR Yamanote Line. In Tokyo, you want convenience, and after all day walking and shopping or after a long night of eating and drinking, the last thing you want is a 20+ minute walk back to your hotel from the station. Not to mention that there is a 7-11 within 30 seconds walk, and family mart, lawson station, and mcdonalds around the corner. You are also near the west side of Akihabara where there's most of the shopping streets and electric town to explore. The hot spring in the hotel is awesome. Take a bath and soak every night indoor or outdoor after walking all day is key. Makes the hotel worth it just for that. They also serve complimentary bowl of ramen each night so if you are looking for a snack, it's on the house. Perfect for solo travelers or couples. Been to Japan 8 times, this hotel by far best value for the price HANDS DOWN. Will be back again.

Always Stay with Dormy Inn”
You can't beat the location of Dormy Inn. It's in the heart of Akihabara and a short walk to the JR station. The rooms are efficient. I will say the room I stayed in which I'm used to doing solo wasn't enough space for two people. It felt much cramped. Same with the bed. Spacious for one person but for two people it was uncomfortable. The staff is incredibly nice and easy to work with and for that I'm grateful. I feel welcomed at Dormy Inn which is why I have always stayed with them when I visit Japan. They have many branches in Japan as well so I try to stay at other locations. I also really love their onsen! This location has an outdoor section with a tv so it's nice to catch up on the news while taking a nice hot soak.

Very nice location”
Rooms are on the smaller side but enough room for everything you need. Most importantly the bed was comfy. The staff was very nice, they hold your key for you when you leave the building so it's one less thing to worry about losing. Very clean hotel, vending machines in the communal area on the top floor had a good selection of liquor and other drinks. Did not use the hot spring but it looked cozy. Good location for exploring Akihabara and very close to the main akihabara train station.

Great location with hot spring”
This is my second stay at this hotel and it did not disappoint. I discovered that it's also close to the Ginza line and a few other train stations besides JR. A grocery store is nearby as is a 7-Eleven. Quiet and two stops away from Ueno and Tokyo station and walkable to Tokyo. Well-located and very quiet. Wifi leaves a lot to be desired, but I would stay here again.

Very value for money hotel.. not only the location is convenient, lots of shopping if you like anime and also, the hotel has free ramen at night if you are hungry, and also a hot spring. And it’s clean too!

This is my second stay at this hotel - my first being in 2017, and they still deliver on quality. My only complaint about the Dormy Inn - which is something they do at all their hotels - is the key system where they only give you one key. If there are two people in the room, you will have to coordinate between leaving the key at the front desk and communicating with your roommate about who has the key. Aside from that, breakfast is amazing as always with choices of a Western style breakfast or Japanese style breakfast. There's indoor and outdoor baths with the outdoor bath having fruits in the morning. The 9th floor has free manga to read while enjoying a bottle of ¥100 milk after a bath. Beds are good, rooms are on the smaller side but that's to be expected as it is a room in Tokyo. Always a pleasure to stay at the Dormy Inn on Akihabara. I'll definitely be back for a third year in the future.

Just a 5 mins walk from Akihabara station, this business hotel is my favorite place to stay in Tokyo! Friendly staff, great location, and best of all, indoor and outdoor hot spring bath! What more can you ask for in central Tokyo?

Very good and friendly staff in a great location.”
The staff was always there to greet you as you entered or left, very nice. A plus for me is when we needed help making reservations all we did was show them the place and they made it for us. The location was great right in the middle of Akihabara and the hotel was always clean. The only problem we had was the printer wasn't working on the top floor and they didn't understand to get it fixed.

Great location, staff very nice & helpful. We felt safe & the public baths were great & clean. ”
Staffs are very helpful, but our fridge were turned off by the cleaning ladies (assumed by mistake) and the milk we bought for our kids were bad by the time we got back. & we had some medication eye drops in it for my son that needed to be cold. Please do check next time before turning things off. Other then that, we enjoyed our stay very much. We loved the baths & was really nice after a long day of walking, sight seeing. My son kept asking when can go back to the hotel. Thanks. .

Akihabara. Onsen. Double for one.”
Double bed was (very) small for two college students. Managed to share it, anyways. Onsen at the top is AWESOME-open air bath in the heart of Akihabara. Hospitality was great, provided boxes (at a cost, but not much) for sending what I bought back to my country, gave us free cup noodles which were better than 7-elevens'.

In the heart of Akihabara, plus right next to a train line. Lovely onsen facilities and free ramen each night. The bed was a little too firm for me, but I sleep on my side.

The hotel was good the staff was very kind and service was good. The bed was small but clean and very comfortable. I was sleeping well and the Onsen was good enough.

Located midway between Akihabara and Okachimachi stations, this modest hotel is extremely convenient. The hotel is not new and showing some signs of wear, but perfectly adequate. The rooftop hot spring (onsen) is much appreciated after a long journey, or a day out sightseeing. The 1000 yen breakfast is good value. An interesting place to visit nearby (under the rail tracks in the direction of Okachimachi) is the Aki-Oka artisan market, as is the bustling market between Okachimachi and Ueno.

The room was a little small, but the spa located on the 9th floor was the best.
