Great value for money”
We stayed during December 2020 just after the second Covid outbreak in Thailand - and we were the only guests in the resort. The staff tried everything to make us feel welcome and at home. The breakfast was simple but ok - of course they cannot provide everything due to the low business. The pool seems newly renovated and was very nice and clean. Spacious room with everything you need (we stayed at Deluxe Sea View). Overall great value for money, direct location at the beautiful beach - we can surely recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

This was a return visit to Golden Bay. Obviously we like it! The location is perfect. The resort is well kept, and the rooms are very comfortable. There are a good number of loungers, but it can be challenging to find shade. The shade awnings around the pool look like a good idea, but they aren’t very effective. Still, this is an excellent resort. I hope we can stay again.

Not far from the harbour. In beachfront. check in was fast and staff friendly. Room was ok. No views but was quiet and private and clean.

Really loved staying here! Close to the beach, best Acai bowls ever, cute cottages, good food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and most of all: the staff is amazing!

Wonderful place - all you need!”
Iv'e stayed at Golden Bay Cottage af few times and i love this place. The staff is nice and very helpful, the resort area has something few other places have, it's cozy, beautiful and not to crowded. There is a natural comfortable distance between pool, garden for sunbathing, restaurant, beach ect.. Wonderful. The restaurant has gotten better and better, their food is really good and the location right on the beach really tops it of! The rooms are nice and you get value for money. Big thumbs up to Kong, a young man who seems to run the place on a daily base. This guy has service in his blood!! Helpful, comfortable, sweet and a 6th sense for being around every time you need help and knowing when to retreat and let the costumers relax... We loved this guy! For any negatives... the wifi is not extremely fast, this was primarily an issue for the kids :) The beds are not soft, but after a night or two of getting used to it, it actually did wonders for my back.

The staff at Golden Bay take Thai hospitality and friendliness to a whole new level! Everyone I interacted with from the owner down to every service staff were so kind and helpful, it made up for a bad experience I'd had coming in too late at the Krabi airport. This hotel was beautiful. The ONLY problem was that I could only find one outlet in my room. :) Bring a power cord and you'll be all set!

All good "except" breakfast”
All good "except" breakfast, which is the same everyday for the-whole-7-days we stayed there. Food is not covered while lots flies flying around. We only had 3x breakfast in hotel, and for the rest of our stay, we just went somewhere else like Patty Secrets Garden or Cozy Breakfast which have much more descent and yummy breakfast. If you want to keep hotel breakfast, then eggs (omelette/scramble/fried) is probably the only descent option......

- clean, spacious room, cleaning everyday, on a beautiful beach, great value for money - beach ideal for couples and families ( we moved to another beach in a few days cause mid november on this beach nothing is open past 10 in the evening and we were looking to have some fun )

Really nice hotel at the great location”
Hotel was right at the beach. There were many great restorants near hotel and restorant at the hotel also served great meals. Hotel staff was allways frendly and helpfull, all staff members did not understand English but we did not mind. Hotel area was very quit, no car noises or loud music. Defenetly i would visit here again!

Stayed during Covid-19 ”
Nice place, right on the beach. The restaurant and bar was closed during our stay, but the manager and owner did their best to make our stay enjoyable. Nice pool. and garden area. Most of the restaurants and bars on Koh Lanta were shut down during our stay, but the Island is wonderful and we would definitely return.

Only stayed 3 nights , was in low season so prices were cheaper , weather wasn’t great but not hotels fault but meant we did use the pool but it looked lovely and clean, beach was bit dirty but lots of storms so waste from sea not the surrounding hotel , swam in sea which was fine , would recommend and stay there again , didn’t eat in in restaurant as no real need , everywhere in walking distance but hotel supplies a lift to walking street and anywhere else you would like for 50 baht ( useful if moving bags )

Okay basic accommodation with pool”
Don't expect any assistance from staff and you won't be dissapointed. Stinky toilet. Intermititent wifi. Same included breakast every day. Located on the beach, near to Town (100 b taxi ride.), near restaurants, nice pool.
