Great place to stay at a cheaper price”

When in Singapore, it can be expensive for solo travellers and backpackers, so a good option would be a hostel like this. I checked in at 2pm (you have to deposit 20 SGD, which they give to you when you return the key), and only went back to the hostel to sleep, my stuff was safe because they give u a small locker besides the rooms to store any items of value or clothes. They serve morning breakfast (Toasts and coffee/tea) from 8AM - 10AM, free strong wifi. If you need a towel or iron, its an extra 2 SGD. Since the Malaysian crew at the airport threw my toothpaste (apparently you can't carry liquids that have more than 200ml to Singapore), I was always borrowing toothpaste from the other guests haha. Because they don't provide it in the toilets (Toothpaste and soap), so make sure you bring your own. There good cafes nearby, ATM is a bit far, so make sure you have money all the time. And Nightclubs + Massage houses nearby too.

LOWEST PRICED HOSTEL in LIL INDIA”

1. Traveller's Hostel is the LOWEST priced rooms on TripAdviser/Agoda. 2. AiR CONDITIONER from 7pm-1Oam. 3. 3 SHOWERs, 3 TOILETS per floor. 4. BREAKFAST: tea, peanut butter, jelly, butter, Nutella. 5. Good WIFI: in rooms, never drops. 6. LOUNGE w/Air Cond 24/7. 7. Little India: BUS LINE, Farrer Park MRT in a nice mall. - Bathrooms should be cleaned 2x a day, not 1x. - Bathrooms don't have window screens so there are gnats on the bathroom wall. Gnats are innocuous This is the cheapest hostel. I stayed here 3 times so I'm happy with this place.

You get what you pay for”

Staff were accommodating. We purchased discounted tickets to Universal Studios here. My friends were bitten by bed bugs. The shared bathroom are regularly cleaned. The breakfast was ok, you can toast the tasty bread and have tea or coffee. Spread are also okay. 10mins walk going to Jalan Besar MRT station. Bus stop is 1 minute walk. There are stalls selling cheap meals just beside the hostel.

Exceptional”

The hostel beds are good and washrooms are also good and clean I saw there. Staff are cooperative and location is good as the Bus Stop is infront of Gate and Jalan Besar Metro Station.

Lockers and Locked Late at Night”

I arrived late (3AM) when I checked in at Travellers Loft. First of all, the door was locked and it took me a few minutes of ringing the doorbell before it was opened. While I am not complaining, it would be good if there is somebody who would be able to immediately attend to travelers who come in late due to flight delays and such. When I checked in, I was given a piece of paper and a set of keys and the guy directed me to my room. When I got to my room, the locker was making so much noise I was worried I would be waking the whole room up. While I had a not so good experience with the locker and with the main door, the rest were good enough. Toilet was good and clean. Breakfast OK just like the usual bread and jam and coffee which is just fine. Staff during the morning checked me in with that paper that was handed to me the night before. She was also quite friendly. I would stay here still. It was just good enough.

Good place in singapore.. We can use free facilties like Micro wave oven..Good Breakfast.. Easy access to attractions and travel facilities nearby.

Located in central Singapore”

If travel as a backpacker, this is a good place to stay. Near swimming pool, gym, and lot of foods nearby. Located in central Singapore.

Value for money but not for picky traveller”

The private room was okay-ish, but for that amount of money, in Singapore some more, is quite good. The cleanliness was 50-50, the floor and dining area was squeeky clean but the bedsheet were itchy and the toilet was borderline dirty-clean. Not for picky traveller.

In Transit”

It's a good place to stay waiting for your next flight outside of Changi, and meet and speak with some backpackers on an adventure. Within walking distance of the NE and EW MRT Lines, and a busstop practically right in front of the place, transport is not a challenge. The property right smack along Jalan Besar is a good place as a jump off point to view some interesting structures featuring Straits Architecture.

Need Better Communication”

Pros - (1) Affordable price (2) Easy to find. Bus stop is 2 minute away while the nearest MRT station is Jalan Besar or Bandemeer which is abut 15-20 mins walk depending on your pace (3) Finding food is easy. Most restaurants within the street is Chinese but if you go a street over, you'll find Indian restaurants & a 24-hr shopping centre, Mustafa. Cons - (1) Through Agoda app, communications is difficult. The hostel told me that they never received my request and enquiries. Not sure if this is the app's problem or the hostel didn't check their messages, I'll file a proper complaint so no one will have to experience bad check in. (2) Lightings need to be change in the restroom. (3) Rooms need to be clean regularly

i was 1st time came Singapore..... before i stayed here i was book in New Society Hostel for one night coz it cheapest i got on Agoda.willing to book for another night......then i saw Travelloft Hostel also cheap and nearby....... Travelloft was awesome.......Helpfull staff....facilities good....and i get more new bestfriends there.... MRT & foods stall nearby.....would like to come again

The Sponge and the house keeper”

I really like the place. Its like a home away from home to me because of the set-up. we occupied a family room with shared bathroom, We stayed for 13 nights. I like the shower with hot and cold water. The toilet was clean. The breakfast for me was okay, not until there was a shortage of peanut butter and butter. As much as I want to wash our own dishes with the sponge I opted not to, we/I chose to use the soap with our hands since the sponge was really smelly. I just suggest if you could regularly change the sponge and not to use it as a rag to wipe the wash area because it was really smelly. not recommendable to use in washing the utensils. I commend the house keeper guy, I forgot to asked his name. He is a singaporean, with a long hair. He was very approachable and very friendly. over all, I will still go back to ur place and will recommend you to my friends.

Clean, Comfort, and Location is Best”

Stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing for cheap hostel in Singapore. The staff is very kind and helpful. The cleanliness of the room and shared bathroom is beyond my expectation as cheap hostel. I will stay again at that hostel.

Get what you pay.”

Have a long overnight stop over in Singapore from Perth so we decided a get a room and a relative send us this hostel for consideration. For the price, we do not have much to compliant. We rented the supposedly bigges room for our family of 5; room is small and clamp with double layer beds and a small space (may be about 2 feet between the wall and the beds) to manuver yourself but we were so tired then we just need a place to sleep. The reception and common hall for breakfast is nicest place in the hotel but management should look into the cleanliness of the bed room and the facility provided at least the room we stayed The attaced fan look like never clean before with Dust covering up the cover and blades, the attached bathroom glass panel for toiltry also dirty, the lokcer underneath the bed is full of rubbish and dirt. The Airconditioning is not cool at all. Anyway, you get what you pay for, no complaint, just my observation.

Safe, great location”

Stayed here with my bf for 1 night, each got a bed on a bunk in a 4 pax mixed room. The hostel had many securely locked doors to get through so we knew our stuff was safe. Bathrooms/showers were cleaned several times a day, they offered discounted tickets to many attractions, simple breakfast of coffee/milo, toast and cereal. Lots of house rules but understandable as it keeps the place and the country clean. The pool is located at the stadium just behind the hostel. It costs $1.30 for foreigners M-Th and $1.70 F-Su, also has lockers, showers and bathrooms. Lots of great hawker stalls all around the area as well as 24 hour self service laundry a block away

Okay quality and location”

Good location for the non-tourist. Just on the cusp of little India and situated around MRT stations w/in 10 min walk. Showers had maggots and flies. Staff was accommodating.

BEST DEAL in SINGAPORE”

(1) CHEAPEST: When I was there, it was. I stayed 3 times. (2) Above RESTAURANTS, 5 blocks from City Square MALL, on BUS LINES. (3) BREAKFAST: Toast, jam, Nutella, peanut butter. Some guys overdo it taking 1O slices. (4) BATHROOM: should be cleaned 2x, not 1x/day. I'm bald but I always had to pick up hair that clogged the drains. The trans Ming would simply sweep it to a corner when he should pick it up and dispose of it. Best deal in town. Would definitely return there.
