Japanese capsules”

had a few nights in singapore so i stayed at a few of these capsule type hostels. the spaceship kind was cool but it felt a little claustrophobic. the one in this hostel is pretty simple.. a lot of wood with a curtain. reminds me of one i stayed in Japan. the locker below the bed was very spacious, could fit my entire luggage in. rest of the hostel was clean and nice. good place to spend the night in expensive singapore.

Excellent place to stay in singapore”

Absolutely love this hostel for the following reasons: 1. Fun - there's the bball machine in the lounge which is free for guest use which i totally enjoyed. saw a family from africa challenging each other as well. it's good that the machine is only available during certain hours of the day so its close during breakfast for e.g. Ran on the treadmill once as well.. clocked my needed exercise for the trip (: 2. Lovely place - the hostel has a lot of nice instagrammable spots. balconies, sun decks, lounge with a fancy wall full of sports quotes, and this random wall that is full of different types of balls. Can tell that a lot of thought and love is put into creating this hostel. 3. Location - personally im not a fan of crowded places.. at least not to sleep. so this location works really well for me. the direct vicinity is not crowded, but you just got to walk a few minutes to get to the train station, and some really awesome coffee and local food. Thumbs up guys!

Exceptional”

We were not dismayed. I've read a lot of reviews first before finally booking this hostel. A great place for backpackers and families as well. Staff and ambiance are very nice. Special mention to Wan. The first time you'll meet him, it's like you've know each other for years. He and the other hostel staff are very accommodating. They even offered us to use their shower to freshen up before we head to the airport because we checked out at 11 AM and left our luggage for the meantime, since we still have other itineraries before our flight. Value for money is excellent. The place is simply acceptably clean. Our room were cold. Though in the other private room with own toilet, it was a challenge to reach the top bunk bed due to lack of something to grip. But Wan has already informed us that this is a work-in-progress. Breakfast was also fun. Preparing and toasting your sandwiches and cereals, interacting with other guests. My children enjoyed the breakfasts. 2 thumbs up!

Really cool hostel”

on transit and found this newly renovated hostel in Jalan Besar at a great deal on agoda. apparently it's run by a new management and it's a pretty neat concept hostel. very spacious hostel with lots of windows, and the lounge was a great place to relax and hang out especially over breakfast. facilities was excellent - 1st hostel i stayed with a treadmill. absolutely loved it. i took a while to find the hostel.. but once you reached the hostel, it is actually pretty easy to get around. nearest mrt is farrer park station and i realised that the best way is to walk through city square mall.

Great hostel in the city”

the hostel is just getting started and can tell that the staff are really hospitable... the lounge is beautiful and nicely decorated.. just as the photos show. my bed was clean and comfortable with fresh linens and the quilt blanket which was awesome. bad part for me was that toilets are separated male and female on separate floors so i always had to go down to the 2nd floor to use the toilet... didn't really like that part. overall still a great hostel in my opinion.

Great New Hostel”

Location wise, its not in a tourists area BUT very easy access to public transportation. Bus stop next to hotel, Grab meeting point in front of hotel, downtown line approx 6 mins, and lavender station around 10-15 mins walking. Fair price supermarket 10 mins walking, lots of food around, even wet market nearby Our family room also very nice with ensuite toilet. I love their regulation on no shoes in public area. Feel more clean and comfy One thing needs to be improve is wifi 🤣 Once you are in the room, no wifi can be access. But im sure they will fix it since wifi is essential 😬 Overall happy and will get back again 👍🏻

staff is so friendly”

it's a cozy place and nice for kids to stay here in the private room. there are female only toilets so even though the toilet is shared with other people it is okay for me and my family. nice base in singapore to go around and come back to hostel to rest and relaxing

nice stay”

the hostel is nice, which provide a big & clean bed and bathroom. But the only thing i feel unhappy is the check-in time , which is 3pm only can check in :( . At night there is not much of thing can eat around the hostel , bus station is just infront the hostel .overall, i still recommended because of the big bed :p but short person like me dont stay at upper bed, because you will easily fall due to the stair is abit high to step

Great experience while staying there”

Great location, great neighborhood. Great hostel itself. The room smells still newly removated. Definitely coming going to stay there again. I hope the fix the toilet door in the female bathroom. Other than that, superb!!! Definitely suggest either you are a business traveler or backpacker or someone who like simple design, great comfort and clean space.

Great Hostel In The City”

It's newly opened and they are striving to improve the facilities. It was upkept and disruption is kept to minimum during the duration I stayed. The usual breakfast is provided with unlimited bread, Jams, Tea, coffee, cereals etc but Do spare a thought and leave some for others. Wan, the staff is fantastic, polite and service orientated. Giving good suggestions and options, I am impressed! While this is a hostel, don't expect the luxury of a hotel. You pay a fraction to be in the city and some noises and minor details don't meet your expectations are expected but I wouldn't fault any. WAN, keep it up the smile and enthusiasm. Our service industry requires candidate like you. Bosses alert! Do experience it yourself.

Near to Swee Choon!”

So near my favourite restaurant in Singapore, the Swee Choon Dim Sum~!! Hostel is new and very cozy and beatuiful. Aircon is so cooling so good becos the weather is so hot now. Wifi works great for me. Highly recommend!

A/C too cold for us”

we stayed in a capsule bed which was good privacy with the curtains and personal lights, but it was a little too cold with the aircon. if u have a bad nose like me plsss ask for a bed further from the ac. there's no lift as well so be prepared to climb up the stairs to the 3rd floor. pretty decent hostel nonetheless

Perfect! ”

The staff were very accommodating , friendly and helpful! The place was kept clean and tidy! Location is great, easy to access all transportation. I loved it and enjoyed my stay much and would deffo recommend this place to anyone coming to Singapore. xx

All right hostel, not a capsule hotel ”

This is a pretty good hostel, not a capsule hotel. The beds each have walls and a light and a plug, but there is no door - just a screen that you pull down when you’re in bed. Sound isolation was therefore not great; I should have taken earplugs. I also like a door between me and the world, which is why I like capsules and not hostel beds. The bathrooms were clean enough; the place is okay overall. And, true to the name, there’s a treadmill and a bench with a few weights in a room without AC (but with windows, so there’s a breeze) - a good way to work up a sweat.

Hostel is easily accessible, strategically located near Farrer Park MRT. U need to contact receptionist through intercom to open the door in order to check in. Facilities are amazing, decent and clean.

Beautiful sun deck”

my fav place of the hostel... suny in the afternoon. good for drying cloth and very windy and cooling in the niight to smoke and relaxing.

Still got room of improvement ”

Staying in a private 6 bed bunk...overall the room is ok but just the toilet have a bit of unpleasant smell...staff are friendly and helpful and the location is good as there is a busy stop in front of the hostel

Everything is nice and love the decorations of the hostel, however it would reach perfect if the shower room is clean enough :)

Homely”

Love the vibes of the hostel.. cozy and spacious lounge. and thanks to Zech for being so helpful. great recommendations of the area. spending some time in nearby City Square mall is a gd idea.. there's some gd shops like Decathlon and Don Don Donki.

Travel with my Bffs”

Nice and Clean Hostel. Breakfast can be choiced one more. Water is free for guest. I really love it.
