Such a shame about the renovation next door.”

I stayed at the travelogue in September 2017 & it was a nightmare. Next door there is a renovation of a building (turning it into a McDs). The work mainly goes on over night and so its impossible to sleep. All night its banging, hammering, drilling & sawing. Really inconsiderate of the buildings owners who do not care one bit about the guest house next door or their paying customers. Of course the reception was full of complaining guests regarding their lack of sleep & the issue of the next door renovation. I complained the next day to both Agoda & the travelogue management. All agreed this was unacceptable & i was given full refund of the booking and i moved out the next day. I have to say though if it was not for this issue the Travelogue would have been great budget option for KL. Great location in Bukit Bintang/ Jalan alor. Very clean/ nice facilities. Staff are friendly & helpful Value for money Well done to Agoda & the Travelogue management for total understanding on the situation & their prompt refund. Hopefully the renovation will not last more than a few weeks & will not hurt their business to much - beware of the above before booking.

Good location and clean”

I stayed a night at travelogue guest house. the address is difficult to find because there was not any address number in bukit bintang. The male staff is friendly. the most worth is location because there are many halls: pavillion, food court, metro, bus station near the hotel. Room is clean but not much facilities. Especially, the coffee house and garden is beautiful, i can relax here.

Lovely Travelogue”

I'll choose to stay there everytime I go to Bukit Bintang. Near Mc Donalds as center of Bukit Bintang and located in strategic area which is not difficult to find any restaurant, such as Alor or place of interest such as Chankat. As their name, I feel like a home through the day I live there. I got a lot of amazing friends from all over the world in that hostel. Such an unforgettable moment have opportunity to stay in Travelogue. Thank you for your pleasant stay. I never had experience as amazing & welcoming in Travelogue compare to other hostel. Thank you for kind receptionist that always care & help me through the day I living there, especially Rose.

The best backpacker hostel in Bukit Bintang”

This is my second experience stay in dormitory, Travelogue made me fallin love with dorm! The room is super clean and comfy, the staff was so friendly and explained everything you asked. The location is very near to Bukit Bintang station. Absolutely will back to here again. Thanks Travelogue!

Satisfaction”

This hotel is newly renovated and all the facilities are clean and new. Then the location is very strategic which is just opposite lot 10 and Pavilion. Somehow, many foreigners and beggars hanging around downstairs of the guest house. There is no elevator in the building but it's alright for us to climb up level 2. I booked the twin room and special requested for twin beds but there is only queen room available when i checked in. Then, the staff immediately changed the room for me and upgraded to superior room with no extra charges. Besides that, please be informed that the staff will ask RM50 from you as deposit and it will be returned when you check out. Overall, my friend and I were satisfied with our stay in Travelogue Guest House and it's worth the money. We will come back here if the quality still maintain.

All staff are very kind and helpfull.. the hostel,the room also very clean. My suggestion is maybe every room should be add television and it is okay to increase the price is a little bit..but overall i am satisfied with travelogue quest house..if i come to Malaysia again absolutely i will stay at travelogue guesthouse..thank you very much

location just across monorail bukit bintang, also newest mrt. The room quite spacious but during the night due to the live music at the corner of Mc D it was very loud. Other than that everything was okay.. would love to stay at Travelogue again..

Fantastic bombastic ”

Located in heart of bukit bintang. Near to traffic light in the middle of bukit bintang, next door to starbucks, mc donalds and money changer. Good wifi, lovely rooftop for smoker, simple kitchenette with water dispenser, toaster,free for hot choc and coffee, simple and cozy room , good staff and friendly, absolutely will come again and dont doubt with this property cause you wont regret once u checkin in here. No lift is okay if u dont have a overweight luggage! Its simply nice and lovely hotel from thr first sight especially roof top and reception side.

Value for money, very good location in the middle of city”

First I am a bit confuse because I can't found Paradiso Bed&Breakfast in Agoda because I always stay there when I came to KL, then I know that the guest house is changes become Travelogue Guest House. My experience here is same, the staff is friendly and halpfull, the location is very strategic, in the middle of city, walking distance to several tourist attraction and it is near to Monorail & bus station, specially free bus Go KL and Hop on Hop off bus. Very recommended!

Good as a Hostel”

Location - perfect, near to Bukit Bintang Monorail - and other attractions like shopping malls, clubs and eateris Room condition - clean - bed condition - satisfied - AC - good Hostel condition - overall, it looked very brand new and clean Shower room and toilet - clean - just that I wished the shower little bit faster, but it was good enough. My verdict - as overall, highly satisfied. Staffs were nice, friendly and helpful. Very clean. Location perfect. Just they could change the towel as it didnt absorb water properly. Other than that, it's a great hostel for solo travelers and backpackers. Dont expect for 5 star facilities. But it is great for a hostel with basic amenities. Since my main concern is on safety and cleanliness of room and bathroom/toilet, I am highly satisfied. Will return and willrecommend to others too.

Solo on Double Room”

As I requested for a double room with an ensuite bathroom, my room was at the end of the 2nd floor of the hostel next to the common lounge. The place is neat and clean and the location excellent as you have easy access to 24 hours McDonald's downstairs and Starbucks (though this is not 24 hours). Its also within 5 mins from Bukit Bintang MRT and another 3mins walk to Bukit Bintang Monorail which makes it easy to go to any parts of KL. The place is safe (CCTV included at lounge) and does not allow guests past 9pm. The only downside is its a steep climb up the stairs to the lobby/reception and another steep climb to my room/lounge.

location was great if you are game for long walks to check the center and explore what is kuala lumpur at night.. it's great for not picky traveller like me who only uses the accommodation for sleeping ang bathing.. it's close to malls and dining (starbucks, KFC and McDo) and pick-up if you booked with klook for activities.. the room is well maintained and has hot and cold shower.. the staff are also great and friendly.. overall, i would greatly recommend this place.. just inform concierge to check you in far from the facade because it is close to where a loud band plays every night

Superb location 👌”

Very accessible. Starbucks, McDonald's, Family Mart & Watsons are just at the ground floor. Few steps from Monorail and MRT (bukit bintang station). Across are high end malls like Pavillion and Farenheit. Near GO KL bus station ( free bus that will get u to some spots like Petronas tower, central market and KL tower). Room AC is working fine and receptionists are very friendly. The only disadvantage that I can say is that you have to go to 3rd flr by stairs. But overall, it was a great stay there. I will definitely book here again.

Cosy Place at Affordable Price”

The place is very cosy and well design. Very well maintain as well. Located right in the middle of bustling Bukit Bintang (above McD Bukit Bintang). The first hostel I've encountered that provide prayer room and always 'ON' cappucino machine. It such a waste that they allow footwear on their nice wooden flooring or else I would have gave them full mark!

It locates right in the center of Kuala Lumpur, you can walk to Pavilion, Jalan Alor night market, MRT station, Lot10,... and many restaurants & coffee shops like McDonald, KFC, Starbucks,... Family Mart, KK, Minigood are all around you. This is the best location ever. The toilets are a little small, but it's not really a big problem for us. There is a big kitchen that you can have free coffee, fridge and microwave is available too. The staffs are so nice, friendly and polite, they help us brigging our luggages downstairs without asking. Thanks!

Perfect place in the heart of city”

Perfect place for shopping, entertaiment, sightseeing, night life. Also just opposite to monorail (bukit bintang) where u can go anywhere. Starbucks, McD and busking spot is just down the hotel. Cons: there is construction site behind the hotel. Very noisy in the morning. Cant see any parking at the hotel. I park my car at the nearest mall and walking to the hotel.
