Great place in the middle of the town and in front of the beach”

Pros: Our stay in Tropica Bungalow Hotel was superb. The room interior was beautiful and it was spotlessly clean. The bed and linens were comfortable and smelled fresh. They always cleaned the room daily which was nice. They also try their best to eliminate plastic use and it was evident in the room and in the hotel vicinities. Breakfast was delicious as well and they gave a 20% discount card to use in their restaurant. Wifi was reliable. Cons: The area is literally beside the famous Bangla Walking Street with all the bars and clubs so it can be really noisy at night due to the bass coming from these clubs. Tried to use earplugs but still did not work. It stops at 4AMish so be prepared for this. Upon check-in, a 2000 Baht deposit was collected which is a normal protocol for hotels, but this one is different since they will emphasize to you the fees to be incurred if you lose your key, break something inside the room even the water bottle etc and so on so your deposit will go there.

My stay in Tropica Bungalow was a better than I expected for the price I paid. The hotel staff were able to speak English and they advice us on tourist attractions. They did Taxi booking for us and Check In and Out were simple. Great Internet, one factor that I consider very important. Location of Tropica Bungalow is less than 40 metres away from the party street Bangla Road and Patong Beach. Good for party people.

Beautiful Hotel with a great location.”

stayed for 4 nights with a friend. location is perfect for nightlife. just around the corner from bangala road and is on patong beach. staff we're very friendly, the free breakfast was great and we got a discount at the restaurant because we we're staying there. would definitely recommend tropica bungalow hotel to friends and family.

Perfect location in Patong City”

Tropica Bungalow is located in the heart of Patong at the intersection of Beach Road and Bangla Walking Street. It is convenient to everything. Close to the beach, Walking Street, and Jungceylon Shopping Mall. The staff was always extremely pleasant and attentive. My only complaint was the smell of their pillows. The pillows did not smell fresh or freshly laundered. The pillows smelled musty.

Excellent Stay”

We stayed at Tropica end of November early December 2018. First the staff of the hotel are very professional . they cater to the needs of their clients. Hotel is clean. tropical atmosphere with all trees and swimming pool. Location is excellent if you enjoy the beach (1 min across the hotel), Bangla street (3 minutes walk) where all shops, clubs and night activity. Shopping center is max 10 minutes walk (Approximately 1KM) Hotel value for money is excellent. If you like the night life, this is the place to be. if you don't like, Music is too loud, even if you are in the room, you will keep on hearing the beat (till 3 am). Mosquitos are there too, due to the tropical trees at the hotel. Finally I would recommend this hotel. Thank you Tropica staff for making this a nice place to stay at.

Chalet In Town”

Pros Perfect location as right at the Bangla Road, beach front. Chalet in town. This is superb. Good basic facilities Cozy environment Very polite employees (all those I met esp the security guard and receptionist) My honeymoon room with jacuzzi outside room facing beach is FANTASTIC. I love it so much. Even it's outside the room but with good privacy. Pros Actually not a pros but more towards limited option for local halal food nearby. There are many halal Indian and Arab food but I want local Thai food. Or more towards local halal Thai street food. So overall : Tropica Bungalow Is Almost Perfect

Great boutique hotel right in the middle of it all.”

Tropica Bungalow is a great little hotel on the main drag in Phuket. Excellent staff who go the extra mile to satisfy you. Although in the busy area it was quiet and clean. The restaurant has some excellent food and drinks as well.

a jungle by the sea in the center of Patong”

Wonderful hotel, nice and clean bungalows, although the bathrooms could look nicer and have better showers. Very noisy during the night, but for a young couple like us it was not a problem. Really nice atmosphere in a "mini jungle" hotel. Plus, you have the best shops, clubs, bars and restaurants at short walking distance, and the hotel restaurant is beautiful, one of the best in Patong (you also get a discount if you're a hotel guest). Thumbs up! No need to mention Patong beach right accross the street. But watch out for frogs and tropical insects on your way to your bungalow after a wild party night in Patong!

superb holiday in patong ”

The hotel is not a luxury hotel however the ambiance surrounding the hotels are very cosy, cool, relaxing and greenish because of the beautiful garden plants. centrally located in front of patong beach make you walk only 3 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to the happening bangla road.Breakfast spread is limited but fine to us. As for dinner, you will have choice to eat in tropica restaurant or seafod patong nextdoor, but if you eat in tropica restaurant, you can save by having 20% discount as a hotel guest. Food cooked not bad the taste.

Great Location”

Had a great time at Tropica Bungalow Hotel, good accomodation, excellent staff, great location to beach and night entertainment. No problem with pick ups for tours, plenty of things to do around Patong for families and solo travellers

the best value for the location and proximity to everything we wanted, beach & nightlife. nice room location in a garden setting. hard to think that one is just around the corner from all the sights and sounds of the exciting night life of patong street. we will absolutely return to the tropica when we come back

Good hotel in proximity to patong beach”

Best location, just opposite to patong beach and adjacent to beach road. Bangla road in just 1 min walk. A lot of eat n drink places around the hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious, however smell like slight damp place. Very cozy for people who want to stay outside and explore Phuket and want to come and sleep Only disadvantage, rooms get a bit of noise from nearby clubs as they play it quite loud. Overall great place at the price.

the tropica bungalow was a great choice,but the rain did not help most of the time was stuck in the rooms which we did not mind just sit out and enjoy the rain forest plants around the tropica great

Lovely place and a great location if you are young”

tropica bungalows was a wonderful place to stay, a little paradise amongst the mayhem of patong. would highly recommend if wanting to be near night life, beach, bars and restaurants.

Favourite hotel in Patong - great value for money”

third stay at tropica in past 4 years. it is a favourite. locted close to everything including bangla road. staff very helpful and breakfast is good - great value for money hotel. particularly if you are not into the 'resort' type hotel. i asked for particular room on ground floor and they were happy to accommodate. pool is lovely and clean. only con is that the mattress is very hard. i asked for an better mattress but they only gave me a sort of pillow topper which really didn't help. i would suggest an upgrade to better mattresses would be a good idea. rooms are clean and made up every day. towels looking a bit tired but are clean. would stay there again (and again) - hope they don't pull it down and build a big flash resort.

A little bit of paradise in the middle of Patong beach ”

Fantastic location In the middle of everything Hotel totally great.. breakfast great Pool clean and sheltered Thumping bar/club noise due to the fact your next to Walking street until 3.00 am but if you do your homework and read reviews it's no problem ! Highly recommend the Tropica

Beautiful”

Room was lovely, really happy with it, large room and balcony. I’d asked for a double bed and got 2? Not complaining though! they were super comfy. I didn’t read the review of this place before I booked, I was just attracted to the rooms, and how close to the main strip it was, So I didn’t realise just how close this was to the main strip Bangla Walking street. It wasn’t really an issue, was pretty loud until quite late, first night was a bit annoying but after that you don’t seem to notice it to be honest. Pool was lovely, was a bit shaded, as this was the last stop on our 3 week holiday in Thailand we were hoping to top up the tan and relax by the pool but that wasn’t really possible, but there’s always the beach right over the road. It’s in the middle of everything, and not a far walk from everything you need! And with the hotel grounds you don’t actually feel like your in the middle of a busy part of patong, would 100% reccomend to all going to that area.

Great place to stay”

The location of the hotel is a minute away from bangla road where you can party all night! Infront is Patong beach. The room is very clean and nice, though it’s a bit old already, it actually doesn’t matter. The only problem is it’s very close to bangla road so you’ll hear the loud music at night but it is tolerable. Breakfast is fine they just need to change the menu everyday! We will definitely back at this hotel whenever I go to Phuket.

Right in the Thick of It Across road from Beach”

these days it is often hard to find smiling helpful staff at this level of hotel. the girls have always been so helpful. thankyou. the hotel is right next to bangala road and the busiest night and bar street around. if you want to be here in the center of the action you have it. the rooms are large and clean. the attraction for me is that they have not only aircon but fans and i don't need to get transport. some of the rooms are bungalow style with shared verandahs. some are two storey and have their own. one is obviously great if there is a group of you but not so good if you are not. staff will do their best to accommodate your request according to entry price you paid. please be aware!!! when booking!! unlike most of the hotels under agoda this ones entry room rate is for a single person. not the room for two persons. if arriving as a couple with passports booking the two of you upfront is definitely the cheaper option. we did'nt notice the little one person notation. of course you must pay for an extra person if you only rent the room under one.
