The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's located right at JR Umeda Station and you can get to the hotel either by airport limousine bus (within walking distance) or JR rapid train. I stayed on the Granvia floor (27 floor) and the room is very nice and comfy. It has everything we need. In addition, there is a lounge on the 27th floor where you can have coffee, drinks, and snacks and computer and working facilities. We can check out right on that floor, very convenient!!! The staffs are also very friendly and helpful. There are many many shopping malls around where you can find everything. The mall next to the hotel is Daimaru where there is Tokyu hands, drug store, cafe. I would definitely come back to stay here next time I go to Osaka.

It’s a very new hotel, location is good, close to JR station and metro. There’s a few entrances right outside the hotel to enter the lower ground connection street to JR and Metro. We stayed here for two nights in total due to our flight got cancelled twice by typhoon JEBI. Staffs are welcoming and can speak good English. There’s free coffee and tea in the lobby for waiting guests. We wanted to stayed there for three nights but the hotel was full during the second night, so we booked the OS Umeda hotel nearby, which the standard was very poor comparing to le frere monterey with similar price point. My relatives who will visit Osaka next month have rebooked this hotel for 5 nights two rooms，hope they will enjoy their stay.

Great Stay, we booked smoking room (no choice, no non smoking room available), but we dont feel like in the smoking room floor. so good for us. :) Airport Limousine bus just few step from the reception. no hassle to move our luggage to the waiting area of the bus. You can walk to the hotel from Umeda stn through underground, but for first timer, we found that it's a bit confusing to get to the hotel from Umeda stn. during 2N stay, we never get to the same way. prepare to get lost around the area. Too many Dept store and restaurant :) For 4 star rating i dont know, maybe it's a bit overrated according to the size of the room, but for facilities all is fine.

When I first started looking for hotels in Osaka (3pax in 1room), I was pretty dismayed at the prices I saw. For this hotel, I was supposed to pay USD 250, but I was able to use some points and a discount given by my credit card, so the final price I paid is USD235. I don’t know about the prices in your country, but in our country, USD 250 plus just a little more can already get me a room at 5 star hotels, and this was only a 3.5 star hotel according to Agoda. I prepared myself for a “just okay”, mediocre hotel. After 6 nights of stay, my view has definitely changed for the better! Let’s be realistic– of course I didn’t magically step into a luxury hotel. But I find that the value you get for the money you pay is great!!! Now, I really love this hotel and would book and go back to it for any future travels to Osaka (unless I find a better deal elsewhere of course). Location – LOVE LOVE LOVE. It’s right at the heart of Umeda. When you come out of the back entrance, the whole street is lined with restaurants. You are surrounded by shopping malls, shopping streets, shopping arcades… Of course with shopping comes food – food “museums”, food “floors” in malls, food streets, food arcades. And of course, the train/metro/subway, is also right there – just a 5-10 minute walk. You are on the edge of one of the major rail hubs called the “Umeda/Osaka Station”. It’s not the NEAREST hotel to the station, but given the ones right at the very heart of the station are more expensive, the location of this hotel is A-OKAY!! Arrival – the “ANNEX” is different from the MAIN Hotel New Hankyu. The main hotel is nicer, nearer to the hotel, of course more expensive. But for me, it doesn’t make much of a difference location-wise. The annex is still fabulous. Another thing to love - the Airport Limousine Bus drops you off at the Hotel New Hankyu Main! Then you can just walk to the Annex. As advised by the other reviewers, go the main one, and ask them how to get to the annex. They a

Here are my observations: • 5-10min walk to the nearest subway station - Hommachi - to Umeda/Osaka station • lots of nearby convenience stores where you can buy food, reload your ICOCA card, and even withdraw money from an ATM • Hotel provides a room/sleep wear • Free ramen from 930pm to 1030pm with coffee and/or tea daily • Room is small but all good for couples like us.Bathroom is also small with bath tub • Friendly staff though they dont speak/understand english well.They tried their best to assist though • No free breakfast. It will cost ¥1200 extra if you want • Check in is at 5pm and check out is 10am

as a long time travelers to japan, this hotel by far the best i have stayed. the hotel is conveniently located within a short walking distance from 2 subway stations. the location could not be better. there is a 7-11 just across the street from the hotel, plus there are tons of good restaurants in the neighborhood. on one evening, i got to try okonomiyaki, which is just a few blocks away. since the hotel is located near osaka stock exchange, expect to see a lot of professionally dressed japanese men and women. the hotel is only one subway station away from umeda. in case you have a late night in umeda, cab fare wouldn't cost you too much. i stayed on the 5th floor. inside the room, it is nicely decorated. the hotel also provides you with pajamas, a pair of slipper and all other things we can all expect from japanese hotels. the bathroom is relatively big by japanese hotel standard. however, the bathtub is a bit too short. i am only 170cm tall, and i couldn't fit into the tub if i straighten my legs. i didn't try the food at the hotel, so i can't really say much about this. overall, this is a great hotel with a good value to your money. thanks to agoda, i got a really good rate.

In my opinion , three main top things here were helpful staff , delicious breakfasts , cleaness room condition . I booked the room for my parents backpacking trip to Osaka . Everything went well with this hotel. the hotel was pretty much enough to fulfill my all the expectations . Its just a few stops away from main Stn ( Umeda ). you can take taxi or subway from there. It was quite easy to get to the hotel. so we could reach there quite easily. Thanks for your all the wonderful hospitalities . For the price that we paid, I was not expecting a luxury hotel. I felt like I was staying at a 4+ star hotel on a 3 star price. The hotel was fantastic and walking distance to Umeda and Osaka station. Perfect for side trips to Himeji, Kyoto and Nara. Food and shopping only steps away. So good to finish shopping and drop off bags at the hotel before going to dinner. Staff was excellent and surpass Japanese standards which are great to begin with. There was always someone waiting to press the elevator button for us. Small gesture but goes a long way. Also all rooms are on high floors so amazing and unobstructed view of Osaka. Room was very large compared to other Japanese hotels. TV was japanese channels only until i found out that video on demand was free including english movies. This is my new favourite hotel in Osaka and would definitely look forward to staying here again.

Hotel is only 5 to 10mins walk from Nishi Umeda Station, depends on how fast you can walk. You can see Hotel from Nishi Umeda Exit. There is a Limousine Bus Stop at Hotel Lobby but dont have many schedule but you can go to another Limousine Bus Stop, only 5 to 10mins walk from this Hotel, they have many schedule. Hotel is old but Room is enough big. Hotel allowed for check out at 1pm at no charge.

I think in the Umeda area of Osaka, it is APA Hotel Higobashi Ekimae that wins overall. From Herbis Osaka you can actually have pleasant walk (if you don't have any luggage). For a party of 3, best to take a cab since it will cost you the same if you total train expenses for 3 persons. To the right of the building are a vendo fast food place, a Tsutaya cd/DVD etc shop and ( a further right at the bridge) Life Supermarket with a small department store where you can find good buys and it's open till 2am. You can cap that day with a hot bath in their onsen. APA HOTEL is truly great

The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the train or subway stations. The stations are connected to this underground mall called Whity, and you can reach the hotel by walking through Whity and taking the M10 exit. There are also lots of restaurants in the street behind the hotel, and there is a Lawson convenience store just next door as well. The hotel does have a bar on the ground floor, which serves breakfast and snacks, but I did not try it. The room was quite small, but it is too be expected in Japan. You can really only open one large suitcase at a time. There are also coin laundry machines. They don't provide water bottles, but if you have your own bottle, you can go up to the top floor to get water from their water coolers. You can also get free toiletry products at the second floor, next to the check-in counter. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here as the rooms were new and kept clean. I do recommend this hotel if you wish to stay in the Umeda area and don't mind walking a bit.

I love Hotel Vischio because :- (1) It is newly built in 2018 June. It is situated opposite Hotel Intercontinental. (2) The room is spacious for 3 persons (3) They provided green tea, facial cleanser, shaver, lotion, shower cap and a host of other amenities at the hotel lobby before you access the hotel room. (4) It is minutes' walk to Osaka and Umeda Stations and all the shopping malls. Nearby corner has a 24-hr drug store that sells lots of stuff (5) Mum needs a plastic chair to be placed in the bathroom for bathing. Hotel staff gets a chair from their affiliated hotel and delivered to our room in quick time. The bathroom has both standing shower and Bathtub. Toilet is in a separate room (6) It comes with fridge and safe, which are useful (7) A lady receptionist assisted us to get two cabs to go to Osaka Station. She is very helpful and kind. (8) Value for money.

Convenient location, there is just 2 stops away from both Umeda and Namba station. Honmachi subway station is an interchange for 3 subway lines. However, there will be a short walking distance from Midosuji line platform to this hotel. The room is cozy but small. I guess that's the standard size in Osaka. You still be able to stay comfortably in the room. There are different types of pillows to be chosen to suit your need. This is absolutely a plus. Check-in and check-out procedure is fast and efficient. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has onsen which open through midnight. This is definitely a good facility for us to use after visiting places the entire day.

We loved the fact that the hotel is located just a few steps away from Hommachi station. Just a 3-5 minute walk, and you are there. Since Hommachi station is in the Midosoji line (red line), the major lines are accessible directly (Namba, Umeda, Keihan-through Yodoyabashi, etc.) The central location will save you time and money. Hotel is located in the quieter side of Osaka as well. Room is comfortable and we got triple sharing. 7/11 and Family Mart are also within walking distance (2mins). Staff are also warm and helpful. The only thing that needs improvement is the cleanliness. Hotel is new, so common areas are clean. However, the room is not as clean as I hoped, especially the bathroom. Toilets were not properly wiped down and bedroom floor have water stains. Also, groceries are not walking distance from the area (nearest don quijote is in Umeda). Other than these our stay was great. Will definitely come back here when in Osaka. :)

The front desk service was excellent, despite the hotel being not aware of the maximum occupancy of 3 in the Comfort Room, the staff took the initiative to co-ordinate and arrange for another bed to be setup on the very night in order for us to obtain a great night of rest. Room wise, the comfort room was spacious and constantly cleaned thanks to the cleaning staff. The spacious room located 20 stories high also has a great view of Umeda/Downtown Osaka to boast. To top it off, Comfort Room guest can also access the lounge which was adequate for some light reading and email work. Location wise, it may be a little far from Osaka Station. Rihga attempts to mitigate the problem by providing frequent shuttle service rides till the last bus leaving Osaka Station at 10:15 PM. More often than not however, we found ourselves taking a leisurely stroll back to the hotel after missing the last bus. The stroll which last approximately 30 - 40 minutes was quite manageable in a the fine spring weather.

One of our best stays in Osaka, they offer various services and amenities that made our stay very comfortable after a day of walking and navigating. The breakfast has good quality and it was worth adding on the booking. They even had a free ramen every night and happy hour which was a delight to us. Receptionists spoke english well and the check out was a breeze. Definitely a good value.

We have every basic things in the room that we need during traveling, pijamas,tootbrush, shampoo , kettle, dryers etc. and hotel have washing machine 300 yens per 7 kgs which is convenient to use (no need to input detergent). The hotel locate near Hanshin, Hankyu and JR train station. It also near Subway Midosuji line (Umeda station) and Yosubashi line (Nishi Umeda station). It is no need to worry about the the connection and pay multiple routes. It also near airport limousine bus stop and not too far from tourist information. If we walk 5 mins, we can find food everywhere and near by Daimaru ,Hankyu department store and Yodabashi camera (IT mall).Please stop to buy camera at Yodabashi and get new model with cheap and good quality please choose camera made in Japan.

Our stay was awesome as we got a complimentary upgrade to an executive room on the 28th floor! Staff were very polite, friendly & helpful. Free shuttle bus from Osaka station to the hotel was definitely a plus & we love it that we can purchase the airport limousine bus tickets at the concierge & Westin hotel is the first pick-up location for the airport limousine bus! Our room was extremely huge & we had a lovely view facing the Umeda sky tower and downtown Osaka! Love the heavenly bed, the comfortable pyjamas & definitely the large carpeted dressing room which was separate from the bathroom! We were given a travel sized shiseido cleansing set which was great! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this 5 star hotel and we would definitely choose to stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel 8 years ago, when we first visited Osaka and the hotel left us a really good impression.This time we travelled with a 4-year-old and again we were glad that we'd chosen this hotel. The staff was very helpful and polite. The room was spotless clean and comfortable. Although It wasn't located at the heart of Umeda, free shuttle bus left every 15 minutes to Osaka JR station, which was rather convenient. Love this hotel and look forward to our next stay!

We, 4, went to Osaka on April and stayed at Dormy Inn Umeda higashi from 14 to 17 April. Our group is a family and there are my mom, dad and sister. First of all, it is easy access to the subway station and the commercial district. By the subway, we can easily acceess to many places and it would be satisfying to stay here for 4 days. Second, on the 8th floor there is hot spring. Even if it is very small, there are not many people in night so we enjoyed the hot spring and release our fatigue from the daily long walking jorney. Breakfast is also good and the shuttle bus is ready to go to the station Osaka(Umeda station). I really recommend all you guys this hotel and if I have a chance to Osaka, I'll willing to go to this hotel. I appreciate the hotel for the welcome and good service.

We had a very pleasant stay. From the airport, we managed to catch a Kansai Airport Express train going to Kyobashi so we got off at JR Fukushuma without changing trains in Tennoji. We arrived in Hotel Hanshin at around 930pm and got our room key in 3 minutes, very efficient. The rooms are relatively small but large enough for 2 persons and always clean and bright. We were given a comfortable room at the 22nd floor with a fantastic view of the Umeda Sky Building. The bathroom had complete amenities and even had a hot spring water option. The best feature of the hotel is its 5 minute access (literally a few steps across) to JR Fukushima station that linked us to other JR trains for Kansai airport, Kobe, Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima (via Shin Osaka), Osaka Castle, Tempozan, Universal Studios, Namba and other Osaka locations. There are 2 convenience stores right beside the hotel, a great steak place, several Japanese restaurants and the usual fast food outlets (Mac Donald's, Mister Donut and Mos Burger). The clientele were mostly local businessmen and touring couples like us, none of the noisy group tours jamming the lobby. The only minor downsides are its use of the old metal keys instead of plastic electronic keys, no in-room safe and the need to buy TV cards (not important to us who were always out anyway). I have stayed in 5-star hotels in Namba and the Osaka Business District but none of them can beat the convenient location of Hotel Hanshin. I will definitely stay in Hotel Hanshin on my next visit and also recommend it to my friends.

Performance of Conrad is stunning, its design is modern with artisan touch, they apply Kohei Nawa’s sculpture in entrance lobby at 40/F, in which allocating different facilities including Restaurant(s) Kura Grill, Atmos Dinning/Bar (Breakfast In there), Chapel and Ballroom at 39/F, Swimming pool, GYM and Spa..etc., if they provide the public bath/ Onsen, then it will be perfect. Apart from abovementioned, one Incident I would brief a bit, I did check-in at Conrad on 28/10 night to suit their checkin time of 3:00pm, (however Luggage was dispatched by ourself in morning, ), but they said my 2 reserved rooms were cancelled. Afterwards I explained to Conrad that I did settle the full Payment on few months b4, and show him the correspondences btw Agoda/their booking department. In result, Conrad swiftly arrange 2 reserved rooms for us. Regarding this, I would much appreciate their reception Mr. Peterson’s swift response coordination, and diligence.

Amazing hotel! it has very small rooms (max of 2 per room for the semi-double room) but it is super clean, the room is well maintained, they have the necessary things (toiletries, fridge, TV). One problem is that they don't have instructions on how to use the aircon/heater so it does get hot in the middle of the night however they have a humidifier in the room, which you can use. Staffs were really nice. Fast check-in and check-out. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is not found in Umeda or Namba, it is somewhere in between hence it is a lot quieter compared to those areas. It is 5 steps away from Higobashi station which is 3 stops away from Namba and 1 stop away from Nishi-umeda (very easy to go around). There are a lot of restaurants around (e.g. starbucks, matsuya (try their gyudon for breakfast), small japanese stalls). Overall, I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Worth every cent considering that it is not an expensive hotel! :) Will definitely book this again when I go back to Osaka!

The good: Hotel Elsereine Osaka is directed connected to the Umeda underground streets, so it is very convenient and easily accessible through public transit (both subway and trains). The room we booked is very spacious - at one time I have 5 open suitcases (2 large , 1 medium, and 2 carry-ons) laid out on the floor at the same time around me when I did my final packing. The room was also clean and bright, and the staffs are nice. The "bad": it is at the "tip" of the underground street, so it is a good 5-10 minutes walk from JR Osaka station. The closes subway station is actually Nishi (west) Umeda, from which you can onto the Yotsubashi line to Mamba station. Bottom line: if you don't mind a bit of a walk to the "central" Umeda area (is JR Osaka station), this is a great hotel to stay in Osaka..
