Excellent service overall”
The facility was clean and tidy, and so well designed that I felt really calm and chill staying there. The view from the rooftop was literally like out of this world and you can never have enough of it on a stay of two nights or so. The cafe inside the facility was also good, and there's nothing more of a blessing than to work from this location hearing the stunningly relaxing sounds coming from the sea. Staff were also nice and quick to come around to help if needed! I myself have been to dozens of guesthouses all across the country and globe, but not gonna lie uzuhouse is one of the best places to visit among them.

Nice and warm place”
I will come back here again if I come to Shimonoseki. The staff is really kind. She let me early check-in on the strong rainy day. The place is near the fish market and tourist places.

Exceptional”
We only stayed here for one night but it was worth it stoping by the city and staying at uzuhouse. The rooftop was AMAZING beautiful view of the ocean and you can enjoy a nice breeze. Everything was clean it, the whole building is very cute.

Superb view from the rooftop deck ”
The rooftop deck with a splendid view of the Kanmon Straits (with the bridge) was the reason that brought us here. The guesthouse has the facilities that you would expect from a guesthouse, and they look quite new and well-taken care of. There is a cafe on the first and second floor that you can have snacks and coffee. The only negative point was that someone flooded the shower room with water, not sure what happened through. Last but not least, hope you can come on a sunny day so that you can enjoy the blue sky and blue sea water view!

Good View Toward the Harbour”
Very good view on the terrance toward the harbour. Good if you want to go to Karoto Market in the morning, It is 10 mins walk away from the market, and the ferry pier. But you need to take bus, if you want to go to JR station. The family room is large, clean with basic facilities. Shared washroom are clean too. Good if the hostel can add a television in some common area, somewhere such as cafe/ common kitchen. Recommended.

Best view of the strait and the bridge”
I love Uzu House! The location is great. It is near the Kanmon tunnel and just a few meters from Akama shrine, Karato market, wharf, and ferry station. It's roofdeck also has the best view of the strait and the bridge at night. The staff are super friendly. I had a great stay at Uzu house. Thanks Yui-chan and Tomo-chan.

One of the best guesthouse I've been to!! Pleasantly surprised by the dorm setup: won't hear the other guests + curtain for privacy -Very close to the main sights (10 min walk); map with sights, restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, ... -Full of facilities: kitchen, terrace with great for sunrise/sunset, locker for bicycles, office/common space -Incredibly friendly staff to top it up!

仕事が遅くなる時に利用させていただいてます。 セキュリティも安心ですし清潔ですし、不足な点はありません！食事なしでチェックインして、サルサドッグだったかないただきましたが、最高に美味しくてリピ決定です！ 海はもちろん、向かいが赤間神宮ですし、朝の散歩も最高ですよ！

赤間神社前！関門海峡を望む気持ちのいいロケーション”
観光スポットエリアにあるホテルで、ロケーションが最高だった。 下関駅からはゆっくり歩いて30分ほどかかる。 近くのコンビニ（ファミリーマート）までは徒歩12-3分。 ６階のルーフテラスから関門海峡を眺められ、天気の良い日は気持ち良さそう。 宿泊した女性専用ドミトリーは、値段相当だと感じた。
