It was very easy to find it, just walk to market, Jollibee, bakery, drug store, plaza, church, tourism office, front desk is attentive enough, first room was near wifi but the tv has no signal, hot water is ok, free water dispenser, have to stay in lobby if you want wifi

Great, not that you have many options in Bais”
I stayed here for two nights to do the dolphin watching tour in Bais. The hotel is clean and centrally located--across the street from the market, a block from the bus stop, and a short walk from the main plaza (where they show movies at night!) and the night market, which I enjoyed more than the one in Dumaguete.

Above the public market”
For someone looking for an inexpensive room with good showers and water pressure, Velez works well. It is next to the public markets so the normal street noises start early and end late. There is no parking to speak of, the air conditioners from the interior rooms exhaust into the hallways, making it HOT and humid, but once inside your room, its liveable. For a budget traveler, looking for a safe, clean, room with a decent bed and good shower, Velez is great. Would stay there again.

Raum wurde anscheinend nicht gereinigt und das Bett nicht frisch angezogen. Überall waren Haare und es war allgemein sehr schmutzig. Klimaanlage sehr laut. Zimmer ohne Fenster. Praktisch null Wasserdruck.

This place is really bad”
Me and my girlfriend planned on taking an early boat to go dolphin watching. Instead of taking a very early bus from Dumaguete, we decided to go there the evening before and stay in a hotel in Bais. Velez was the only available accommodation. After reading the reviews we didn't have high expectations but that didn't keep it from underdelivering. Starting off with the only positive point; the location is walking distance from the bus stop and its as close to the road down to the pier (you'll still need a tricycle though). The place has dark hallways almost like in a horror movie. When we entered the room we spotted about 7 or 8 big cockroaches. When we kindly asked for another room because of this, the staffmember didn't seem the least bit surprised. The other room had no cockroaches but was old and dirty as well to say the least. If you plan to go dolphin watching in Bais, just take an early bus there from Dumaguete or, for Pete's sake, stay somewhere else.

1.位置不错，在拜斯镇中心，市场后面； 2.屋里好多蚂蚁，都爬到我们的包里了； 3.卫生间奇小，最多2平米，而且水龙头、马桶等明显质量不行，有的都坏了； 4.wifi信号奇差，根本连不上； 5.窗式空调安在床头，吵得人无法入睡。
