Quaint Little Villa - Lovely”

We had a lovely, romantic weekend at Verano Beach Villa. The owner and staff took very good care of us. Beach is right out front. Great views and lots of privacy. Nice breakfast. A bathtub AND plenty of hot water! Heavenly. If you're looking for beach parties and tons of shops, this is not the place. If you're looking for privacy, serenity and being surrounded by next to nothing, Verano Beach Villa is awesome! (The beach conservation effort out front was unfortunate, but I'm sure the owners don't like it either! A little loud, but the project will serve the beach well in the future.)

Nice hotel- in the middle of no where”

Verano Beach Villa is a nice hotel - If you like a beach that has noone bothering you every five minutes to buy something. The privet beach that they offer is nice because there is noone around to bother you. The pool is small but very enjoyable one the kids are finished playing in it! The food is very nice! The staff are very nice and eager to please the customers! The rooms are small and cozy but well laid out! The bath tub and showers are awesome. Just a bit OVER priced but very nice

Beautiful Villa on the Beach”

The villa is very beautiful designed. The room is very simple but modern. Clean and comfortable. Villa is just right on the beach, where you can relax on the beach, take a walk in the morning on the beach, and relax in the pool. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is decent. But location is not good for tourist. Need to have own car to drive to the hotel. No shops or 7-11 nearby. Generally, it's a very beautiful villa for vacation. I do recommend my friends to come.

Excellent stay”

This is a great resort just outside of the main town of Cha-Am. Set on a nice beach in a quiet locale, Verona offers serenity and calm, great service, and a fantastic on-site Thai restaurant. The location is a bit remote from the 'main action' (1000bht return taxi ride to Cha-am beach), but once we saw Cha-am beach (which could only euphemistically be described as a 'shit-tip'), we were really pleased that we had chosen to stay a bit away from the main drag. The staff service is exceptional, albeit with very limited English skills. Ideal place for those looking for a nice weekend away from Bangkok, with an emphasis on pure relaxation (i.e. reading book, sitting in pool etc). Not recommended if you are looking for an action-packed, buzzing environment.

Very nicely designed place”

We were the only guests, the small hotel is new, the staff was still a bit in the training phase, but very friendly. Beautifully designed public spaces (terrace, garden, pool), spacious rooms, nice large bathroom. Access is via a sand road, the hotel is between beuatiful beach villas. The beach is not too inviting at low tide but good at high tide. It is a place to relax in a nice environment for a night, a day or a weekend.

Secluded hotel with friendly hospitalities”

The hotel is not far from the city, and is not crowded. Rested quietly in the Puktien Beach area, not a typical touristy spot but got some of nicest beach on the upper south coast on the Gulf of Thailand. Hotel is clean and seemed family owned, small numbers of room so make the hotel very private, great staffs and good breakfast although limited selection. My only complaint was the signage, and road leading to the hotel

An Italian villa by bthe Thai seaside”

I have just stayed 2 nights at Verano Beach Villa and I'm not sure what to say. You definitely need a car because the dining at the Villa is very limited. If you want a quiet beach location with a very pretty garden and nice pool trhis is the place for you. You must not however expect much from the staff. They are perfectly nice young people but obviously lack guidance and good training. It is a shame an owner with hospitality and cooking skills doesn't get hold of this place and make it a perfect Bangkok getaway.

Hotel is great design in the private beach.”

It was ok because that day we went had rain everyday. But the room and hotel is very nice design. Also located in private beach, it suited with the couple to going for holiday. However the entrance road of hotel must be improved with this price.

good for a hide away”

Located on a small street next to the beach, you need a car to get there. The path to room was a bit too natural for a rainy day. Good room design and everything worked well. We were there on a weekday so the beach was very quiet but we liked it. Food was nice with reasonable price. Aircon in the room was a little noisy at night, while the staff performance at check in could have been better. There was a lady who took care of us well though, which made us felt comfortable.

Beautiful Hotel with nice sand beach”

This is a beautiful hotel. Most of room and all decorate with white color. The hotel is quite new and private (Only 12 rooms). The beach in front of hotel is a long beach, natural and not many people. The breakafast is delicious. Reception with warm welcome. There are many books (Thai& English)available near by swimming pool. Also Wi-Fi is available inthe room. However, the car park lot is too small. There are some restuarants but most of them near by หาดจ้าวสำราญ. In conclusion, this is a beatiful hotel for real quiet relax with all necessary you need.

Nice and cozy hotel just next to the beach”

Very nice and cozy hotel just next to the private beach. The location is a bit far from the city but it is good for privacy. The room is nice design and comfortable. Breakfast is good.

Lovely designed resort on nice private beach”

Using google map we found the small lovely resort with friendly staff. Some beautiful birds visit the eco-friendly garden next to the beach. The lovely resort is small but very nice and peaceful. The garden is light up through the whole night. We love this place and plan to go back again.

A very relaxed and quiet stay”

I would say you need to have a car to stay here (which we have) but what a great peaceful location if you do. Rooms were very clean and spacious with huge balconies. Tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and hair dryer all in lowest room type. Breakfast ok and ate there once which is all Thai menu, again ok. Pool small and clean with comfy sunloungers. Beach is 'local' and would be pristine if it was raked daily, which it isn't so a bit of washed up debris but nothing too unsightly. Drive to cha am which was about 15 mins away and also hua hin which is about 35 mins drive. Their english is about as good as my thai but one member of staff did speak quite fluently who was off when we arrived but, bless them, they called her so she could welcome us and tell us that we could sort all passports etc the day after when she was in. Would definitely stay here again as quite a nice boutique feel to the place.

Nice resort with beautiful & relaxing environment”

The resort is new and nicely furnished. The staff is so helpful and nice to everyone who stay in the resort. The beach is just few steps away from the resort & the beach is quiet and beautiful. It's a really a good place for relaxation for everyone.

Can’t recommend”

This is the second year we have stayed at Verano Beach. Last year the English speaking owner was there to run the place. This year no sign of him. Consequently the rag-tag staff, pleasant though they are, have no English between them, failed to make up the room and have generally let the place slip. It’s a shame because the beachside location is fine, the rooms are large and airy and really this place, about 2 hours drive from Bangkok, should be a real winner. If the pleasant owner and his wife want to make it attractive to Europeans they need to be there. Perhaps he will read this and other poor reviews and improve it. I’ll consider staying again but will take note of the reviews before booking again.

Lovely hotel with quiet location”

the hotel has very nice room, all white decoration make you feel comfortable. everything is very clean, the staff is very nice, but they can't speak english very well (all hotel nearby that location can't speak english actually). they have a small pool and seems ok, and they have a beach there but have no recreation. we don't know what we can do in the beach. but the beach is ok. it's very quiet. once again, very quiet. if you don't have a car (like me), you will have trouble to going somewhere, and, this location is middle of nowhere. it will take about 20-30 minutes by car to cha am city, and seems no 7-11 store around. it will perfect if you want to escape from big city's noisy life, because 2 days stay here, you are gonna miss it.

Relaxing beach resort”

Our kids, aged 9 and 7 had a great time on the beach and in the pool. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A great place for a relaxing family get away.

Remote and Quiet with excellent service”

located remotely with direct access to a quiet beach. the facilities are well equipped with friendly staff catering for your need. check in late at about 1am cause lost the way, but was greeted by the staff who waited for our arrival even at the wee hours. impressed. was directed straight to the room cause it was late with everything in order. the breakfast serving was quite a big portion. the room was very nicely decorated even with a balcony equipped with comfortable couch for relaxation view towards the see.

Exceptional”

Peachful, just a walking distance to the beach, friend staffs. Really a place to relax.

beautifully design hotel ,infront of the beach ”

i totally love it. the room is huge and the beach is so so so clean and long beautiful hotel , everything in that hotel is for rest and enjoy the moment of peacefulness. great location to escape from busy world. love the book choices they have for the guest dvd choices.
