Cool Jungle Feel Bungalows ”
These are great bungalows in a secluded area. A little walk from town though (20-30 minutes). I would state that it is a moderately strenuous hike to town. Especially in the heat of the day. However, it’s a small price to pay to be away from the noise of the ‘party’ section. The private beach is a bit to be desired. It has a LOT of sharp rocks and unseen objects such as sea urchins. Long Beach is a bit of a walk over to the next beach and is SO much better. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone willing to walk a bit.

This is a heaven for people who love nature! I'd definitely come back here. 15 minutes walk to town, lovely views, private beaches, lovely atmosphere and good food in the hotel restaurant and not expensive! Not recommended for people with mobile disabilities though :(

Beautiful, Exceptional Experience”
The location was beautiful. White fine sands with a secluded coral cove that the water taxi's respected to drop you off right to the front desk. There were original stained bamboo decor to add the atmosphere. There was no AC but we didn't need it. There were high powered fans in every room. There was a plumbing issue, but it was fixed promptly and we were unphased by the snafu. & You can hike the whole island in one day.

One of a kind”
I only have one wish: To find similar accommodation in other tourist destinations we plan on going. It's a tourist spot in itself. I would pay to stay here even without the beach, just the woods. That's how awesome it is.

Nice escape from town (yet not too far) with nice, quiet beach”
We took Rimlay2 (deluxe aircon room), which is very beautiful and comfortable; it has a sea view. It's 20-30 mins from town/pier, but it is not wild. The path can be easily walked by flip-flop. The private beach is cool and offers a nice, easy snorkeling on the long beach side (proceeding in the water till long beach), while we suggest to the snorkeling lovers to go try the rocks at the other end of long beach (15 mins walk from the reception). Breakfast is ok but not variating and after our 8 days stay it became boring. Cons: Maintenance of the room is not well done and in our case, the sink broke down in the middle of the night. The room phone is still out of service as when we arrived. Service is ok but needs to be pushed several times before being listened.

Very good”
very nice view in a secluded area away from the busy tonsai pier and have a small private beach. loved the place. just a little bit inconvenient to get supplies due to the distance (30 mins walking in the woods, flip-flops doable). As many have said, after the free pick up from pier upon arrival, u gotta pay 100B one way to / from town with a limited schedule (e.g. check out is 11am but the next available trip out is 1230, I heard it's hourly after that but dunno till what time) but I guess that's the cost of being in a quiet place. generally a lovely place

Unique”
Unique setting, lots of paths and climbing. My room was huge with and expansive balcony; the only drawback being lack of AC but that was not a huge issue. Good food at the hotel restaurant, not that there was a choice due to the location, but nonetheless very reasonably priced and with nightly features and tastings. Small beach which was very private and clean.

Average”
The main issue was that the taps only gave out salty water. Showering after a day in the sea seemed almost pointless and brushing your teeth was a little minging. The resort does however have its own beach, offers good food and a boat service to take you to and from the resort.

huts or bungalow”
they have a lot of houses or huts there. there are the ones close to the beach and the ones you have to walk for 5 mins from the reception. so make sure which bungalow you’re gonna purchase. but it’s a very nice, isolated area. in order to get to town, you have to walk for 25 mins or take the boat (100 baht per person).

Amazing Stay”
These private villas are perfect and beautiful. We were in room "Rimlay 1". The hotel grounds are pretty large and I would recommend one of the rooms overlooking the ocean that is close to reception. The room and view were beautiful. The private beach is perfect and also an easy walk to Long Beach. Town is about a 10-15 min walk away, but it was very nice being away from the bars of downtown Phi Phi. The hotel set up a beautiful snorkeling tour for me and my group for 500baht each that was worth it. The food and drinks at the hotel were fantastic as well. I would recommend getting breakfast included. If I make it back to Phi Phi for a third time, Viking Hotel will be on the top of my list.

Beautiful getaway 20 min walk from town”
Loved that this place was tucked away and you needed a long-tail boat to get to it. Great for if you want to get away from the noise of the town. You can still walk to the town. It's not long and the views along the way are breathtaking views of the beach. Great job, Viking!

Relaxing ”
Book 4 room R11-14. There is no complimentary taxi boat from pier to the resort but when check out there is a complimentary taxi boat from resort to pier. The room are not spacious but it’s okay. Room are decorated with towel swan and flower on the bed upon checking in. Upon checking in and out the staff will carry out luggage to our room or the lobby which is a great service provided. Room are fitted with aircond n clean. Book a 3 hour long tail boat snorkelling package. 500baht per person from the resort itself. A little expensive by 100-200baht compare to other ppl from the pier. Location is nice having its own beach but walking to the town is about 20minure walk. Taxi boat is about 100bsht during the day and 150baht during the night. Would recommend coming again

Location location”
Great spot, cheap, easily accessible both by walking and boat to Phi Phi main area. Many staff (not all) seemed to have lost zest for life and looked like they had either just lost a relative, or had been up all night partying somewhere and were dead tired. Returned a smile when I initiated one though. The operator who books the tours there is a great guy - very honest and friendly.

Excellent”
The cozy bungalow was away from the insane-ness of the party area, but still easily accessible - around a 25 min walk along the beach (paved) or a quick long tail boat ride away (100 baht per person normally, 150 in the evening, 200 after midnight). All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. They met us on the pier upon ferry arrival and helped carry our bags to the boat that would take us to the bungalows. There is a small private beach right in front of reception, and Long Beach is only a short distance away. To get to the top of the Phi Phi viewpoint is around 45 minutes. If you plan on spending a lot of time in the main village this may not be your best choice, but if you want to relax away from the craziness this place is great!

Great isolated resort, special and romantic”
Pros: isolated from the noisy phi phi, thus very good romantic hideaway for couples. Food tasting is a cool concept but poorly executed. Cons: some areas in the resort feel like a construction site or dump yard. Food tasting is a cool concept but poorly executed- small amount of food which runs out in 2-4 minutes with no one responsible for it.
