Sahara Star is the best hotel i ever stayed in , its amazing architecture, swimming pool , different restaurants , and bst of all shopping and service its shops are ran by their owners so great deals , food is a bit expensive but quality and variety is the best i ve seen ... i liked it so much that on my days off i never left the hotel. its so close to airport that you can walk or never get really lost cos everyone knows of domestic airport even if they dont know the Sahara Star hotel. They also offer a free airport shuttle bus

1. I booked, a suite for one-night & standard room for 3 nights of course. This suite with a broken mattress. The best surprise the guest will look for. 2. My 6year child wasn't well & had to take rickshaw past midnight because of the unavailability of the car and heavy rain to reach the hotel. But had to alight and leave the rickshaw outside the hotel gate because of so-called the crappy 5 start hotel rules causing massive inconvenience & disappointment. Even Hyatt doesn't stop guests outside the hotel & when especially when a guest is in such need. This is purely in-human. Thanks for being a good host.

The room was super excellent, stayed in many five stars till date, including other hayatt, by far this was the best. Staff performance was excellent. they even waive off the charges for minibar. Room was quite and luxurious. Bathroom was very big, and fast internet. hotel is located in a quite area near the airport and university of mumbai. plenty of ATMs and shops inside the complex. for those who are looking for value deals, you need to go out the hotel, just book ola cabs, and go anywhere you want.

The name Niranta Airport Transit hotel - inside Intl airport suggests that it is easy to access as a transit passenger. However, Jet Airways staff in both London and Mumbai Transit told me that I would have to have a visa to access the hotel. I was unable to access the hotel because it would appear that people I spoke to did not realise that the hotel was accessible from Transit without a visa. This should be easy for you to rectify. I hope that you will consider what I have told you and for future custom address this issue. I would like to stay with you next time I transit through Mumbai but I would like by email the process and protocol for this to happen. Please ensure that my booking fee is refunded as promised by your staff supervisor who I spoke to after getting through immigration and into the transit lounge. I had to pay extra for the privilege of using an airport lounge for sleep and rest, after paying for the Niranta hotel.I would have preferred to stay with Niranta having booked it.

i chose this hotel to pass my 15 hour layover to mumbai for an international flight. i was awaited at the domestic airport by a member of the staff holding a sign with my name. the front desk was very polite and helpful with good english. i booked the basic room for single person. the size of the room was ok, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. noises from the hallway were able to reach inside the room but i do not know on how many hotels at this price range you can avoid this. price is reasonable for this city because accommodation in mumbai costs very much due to overcrowding. i was advised to check out 3 hours prior to my flight and that proved correct since mumbai international airport is a mess and it took me two hours to reach the boarding gate. good experience overall!

I accidentally booked near the airport when I meant to be nearer Colabah. Which meant I had to travel down to do sightseeing. So this is not the best location for seeing Mumbai. I took the train daily down to Churchgate or another station. That said though, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff are attentive, the room clean and spacious, and everything in the room functioned.

I last booked into this hotel in 1999 prior to booking and staying here recently for 9 days. Over the period of time since my last stay here in 1999, I notice that the hotel has not dropped their good standard of maintenance. Beds are still comfortable and sheets are clean. Room, bathroom and toilets are clean. Very polite and helpful staff. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and will book in again when I visit Santacruz, Mumbai.

I stay here from last three months for my business purposes but I have seen Fay by day upgrading hotel its each faculty Mr Asif khan appointed recently as housekeeping manager.. He is thoroughly gentleman. He is handling very nicely hotel staff and customer also he fully satisfied customer. So many changes done here from crockery to cushioning, food menu also reduces upto 30%. Providing better quick room service.

This property is located in a rather remote part of Vile Parle. The taxi driver had some difficulty in locating the place. The room is just about okay. You won't miss much by skipping the breakfast. However, there are not many options for alternative breakfast. The bathroom is small and elongated. I can imagine a well built person having to sidle through the corridor like bathroom. The washbasin is just another check-box to be ticked. The airconditioner was leaking inside the room. I slept on the bed that was away from the AC and did not realise until morning the the bed under the AC unit had become sopping wet overnight. The WiFi is good enough to send a few Whatsapp messages. Overall, I'd still say it's fairly good value for money. There's nothing hugely negative about the property and, if you are traveler who just needs an airconditioned pad to spend the night,this property fits the bill. The staff was nice and tried its best to accommodate whenever there was a need. I say tried because, success was elusive.

I purposefully booked the hotel to be able to simply wake up, get fresh and catch the early morning flight from T1. They did include complementary airport transfer and the service was prompt and worth the money. It is not a 3 star property but the staff and facilities are value for money rather then driven by fancy/lavish elements. If you are someone looking for ease for airport transit. Consider this as a quick alternative.

we stayed here for one night before a flight from mumbai airport. it was reasonable value for money - the room was small but very comfortable and the shower was the best of our three week trip! this was the only hotel we stayed in in india where they charged for wi-fi (apart from 20 minutes free internet use on the lobby computer). the food and drink were also very overpriced. but for a good night's sleep before an early flight, this is a good choice.
