Paradise on earth”

peace, tranquility and in the middle of very beautiful unspoiled landscape.

My stay at Villa Manuk was just what I needed. A total get away experience. The room was simple and delightful. Clean and comfortable without all the junk of civilisation (no TV, no aircon, no minibar etc.) I never wanted to go anywhere as the view and smells and sounds from my balcony were beyond compare. The sounds of the jungle forest, the birds, butterflies, of rushing water were a total delight for the senses. The spring water swimming pool and the wonderful massages from local lady were a health giving treat. I cooked mostly for myself as they let me use the kitchen, which was kind, they will also supply and deliver excellent food from local restaurant and make you a good breakfast if that is what you need. I cannot fault this place. I could easily have spent a month there if I had plenty of books to read. The manager was very helpfull, polite and thoughtful. Highly recomended.

The best place in Bali”

The hotel has surpassed all our expectations. The location is amazing. Breakfasts are excelent (fruit cocktels, tea/coffee, omlet, yogurt, fruit salad, honey, bread, fruit jams, cheese, butter)and big portions. The dishes are clean. The staff: pleasened man, very helpful. He have done his job in high quality. The room is clean. The dinner is excellent. The best waterfalls of Bali are closed to the hotel. You can rent a scooter here. I have just left tje hotel, but I'm missing yet. It is the real Bali. If I come to Bali again, I come to this hotel again obligatorily.

Perfect Exotic stay”

This is as exotic as Bali can get. Located in Sekumpul, close to the magnificent Sekumpul waterfalls (a must see while you're in Bali), we were supposed to stay only 1 night but I couldn't help it and book one more. We would have stayed longer but we had to travel down to Kuta. Beautiful view over rice fields and nature. There is no glass windows but bamboo shades which makes it more natural and exotic. Bathroom is open outside and you can watch people on the rice fields while you're having shower. The bed had a mosquito net and there was a cooling fan. It is very quiet and peaceful. There is big garden with lots of exotic fruit which you can eat. We had breakfast included and it was big portions. Dinner you will have to order in advance and cost 90 000 IDR but you can have whatevee you want. There is a spring water clean pool with amazing scenery. I had a swim there and it's safe. This place is instagram heaven for pictures. We will definitely come back. No issues. Highly recomended.

Perfect Exotic Stay”

This is as exotic as Bali can get. Instagram heaven for pictures. Breakfast was included and big portions, dinner you have to order in advance for 90 000 IDR. Wifi was working okay for whatsapp and Facebook. Open outdoor bathroom with amazing view over rice fields while you're having shower. Ask for upper floor room to have the best view. Cooling fan was good and strong. No windows but bamboo shades which make it more exotic. Spring pool is amazing and clean and I had a swim there. Staff is friendly and speak English. We were so happy that we booked and stayed additional night. We will definitely stay again. No issues. Highly recomended. 5/5

Lovely short stay”

location, natural pool

Pretty hard to find cause its a bit lost in the mountains.. But once you are there its really nice. In the middle of the mountains, you can have a swim in the natural pool (no chlorine). You also get good welcome drinks. The food and breakfast was good. The villa itself is nice furnished, bright, bathroom is open means half inside half outside.

An eco-friendly tropical mountain jungle escape!”

Beautiful natural setting, has a gorgeous garden with fruits growing, loved the natural spring water pool and the lovely talkative cats! Great food and service! Be careful not to leave lights on in your room for too long when it gets dark and leave the windows and doors closed, as this place is in the middle of greenery and some little bugs would also like to stay! Earplugs might also come in handy if you are a light sleeper, there are sounds of nature all around you!

The view was really nice and the staff was very friendly. It's a very secluded hotel but it can be very romantic. The only complain was the pool doesn't have any bleach so if you chose to swim in it you'll be swimming with bugs and any past guests bodily fluids.

A wonderful exit from the stresses of life. No internet, simple but good breakfast (juice, tea/coffee, eggs, toast and fruit). Bathroom overlooking farmer harvesting rice, restaurant view lush forest and paddy fields. Bit noisy at night as bamboo separated us from animal noises - part of the utter charm. Lovely
