Amazing experience at Visesa Ubud”

We had the most wonderful experience at this resort! Our private pool Villa was gorgeous and had the most beautiful view! Waking up to it every morning was an experience on its own. We were greeted by Sinta upon arrival and she ensured we were treated with so much love and care from that point till we left to the airport with their airport shuttle services. Sinta even went the extra mile to ensure we had reached home safely afterwards. Amazing staff like her make us want to visit Ubud again. Further, Every single staff member we met at the resort made us feel so very welcome and ensured they inquired as to where we were visiting from, details with regard to how our holiday was thus far and moreover kept confirming that everything was going well. We had the most wonderful experience at Visesa Ubud Resort and cant wait to go back. Wonderful staff like Sinta make a holiday even more memorable!

I spent 4 nights at Visesa Ubud and had a great time! The location was serene and beautiful and relaxing. The staff surprised me with a birthday cake and song when in my birthday morning which totally caught me by surprise and since I was a solo traveller they really made my day special . And my butler Sadana and all the other resort staff including the spa stuff were very friendly. They also do a complimentary photo shoot there in the beautiful resort surroundings which is totally a must do thing! My photographer Danica did a beautiful job with the photo shoot and she made my birthday most special with a lovely slideshow she made for me to watch with the photos taken. Overall I had a peaceful and relaxing and lovely time at the resort and have recommended it to all my friends! It’s worth your money.

Fantastic Stay”

We stayed two nights at Visesa Ubud through Agoda which included breakfast everyday, welcome drinks, and a cave ritual experience. Everything was faultless from the minute we arrived. The staff at the resort were so welcoming and helpful with our every need, the breakfast was fantastic with so many options including sparkling wine! and the spa just so relaxing. The cave ritual experience was a fabulous couples massage actually inside a cave! and being 26weeks pregnant they catered my massage to me. Our room was cleaned to perfection every day, room service efficient and the freeshuttle bus to Ubud very handy. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will return :) Thankyou

Green, clean and serene resort in the midst of lush paddy fields!”

Had a short but great stay - eco-friendly resort under the blessing of the Ubud Royal family set amidst paddy fields (with breezy gazebos to lounge in at the fringes of the fields) with in-house organic vegetable gardens. Staff were always friendly (not to mention generous with bottled water - always to be appreciated!). Visesa has 4 restaurants - the breakfast cafe/lobby restaurant, an Indonesian restaurant (great value for money), an organic homely Warung (using their own organic produce), and a newly opened fine dining restaurant Padi (menu by the Chef Mandif who runs Blanco in Ubud centre). We had a good experience with 12-course degustation menu at Padi (though a little heavy) - friendly, attentive and fast service. The spa is pretty good too. Getting to Ubud centre is super convenient (5 mins away but takes 20 mins with traffic)as the hotel shuttle runs to and fro every 2 hours between 10am-10pm. We really enjoyed the relaxed green setting (vs Seminyak) and friendly service.

A perfect stay”

We booked a 2 night stay at Visesa, and 3 nights at another hotel in Ubud. Our only regret was not booking all 5 nights at Visesa. The room was stunning and large, bed very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Restaurant is a bit expensive for Bali but you get a great fine dining experience for a low price (by western standards). It is a bit far from the town centre if you want to walk, but there is a convenient hotel shuttle bus every 2 hours. Keen to go back.

Peaceful paradise right out side of ubud centre”

It was our third trip to Bali. It is very convenient location for closer distance to ubud centre. It sets on the beautiful rice terrace near small creek to show panoramic scenery. All the staffs at visesa hotel are nice and friendly. We are very to happy to stayed there and recommend it to others. They haven't finished all the resort facility yet but I would like to visit again when they settle it. I joined morning yoga class and the instructor was the best one I ever experienced in Bali trip.

A gem in Ubud”

Absolutely amazing experience. I did purchase my accommodation on a very good deal - Full price would have been too expensive for me. Visesa is situated a short distance from Ubud - set amongst a permeaculture farm and rice paddies. There was no need to leave the resort, but there was a free shuttle into and out of Ubud every hour. I forgot to add taxes etc to the cost of my beauty treatment so that was quite expensive but again - a wonderful experience.

Excellent choice for a peaceful retreat”

Fantastic experience at Visesa Resort. Traveling with 2 young children can be a challenge. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Super impressed with their service. Truly from the heart. Lots of activities on the resort to keep children busy. The photography experience was tremendous too. Photographer took fantastic photos, some choreographed while some were candid shot as it is not easy taking photos of two very active boys. Kudos!!! Highly recommend any family with young children who would like to escape the hustle and bustle of Bali.

Superb resort in Bali”

My stay at Visesa was nothing short of amazing! I loved the blessing ceremony upon check in. Visesa’s staff was super friendly and efficent. My room was huge and loved the big bathtub in the middle- took a bath every night I was here! The bed and pillows had the perfect firmness for me for a great nights sleep. The balcony was super cool too with its jungle view and sounds. I enjoyed the buggy rides through its property and seeing all the rice paddies and hearing gentle music. I ate at the main open air restaurant - food was delicious but lighting was a little dim for me. I also ate at the traditional Indonesian dining restaurant- gorgeous interiors with a little river running below. Food and service were both perfect. Thank you Visesa! Will come and stay again next time i’m in Ubud :)

Absolutely perfect”

Our stay at Visesa was dreamy. The hotel grounds and facilities are gorgeous, and the staff were faultlessly helpful, friendly and efficient. We arranged to be picked up from the airport by the hotel shuttle service which was there waiting promptly. At the hotel, we were invited to sit in two very grand thrones in the gorgeous lodge inspired by traditional Balinese architecture, and welcomed with a ritual blessing. We had originally booked an ordinary single room, but couldn't believe our luck when we were upgraded to a private villa with pool for free. Over the course of our stay, we had delicious meals in both the hotel's restaurants and made daily use of the shuttle bus into Ubud. Any inquiries or requests made of staff were responded to immediately, our room was made up daily in our absence and transport around the large hotel site in a golf buggy was readily available. All in all, the best hotel stay we've ever had!

Peaceful Setting in Ubud”

We loved our stay at the Visesa Ubud. We stayed in a 2 bedroom Pool Villa. The pool was perfect for 2 kids. The rooms were beautiful, clean and cozy. Given that the coffee station and mini fridge are outside, you must be comfortable with ants and other small bugs that share the space. The kid's outdoor activities included fishing and feeding the ducks. This is a perfect retreat away from the busy cities. I would recommend if you have younger children to ask for a early turndown service. I appreciated the service though they would ring the doorbell at 8-9pm and wake my children. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again in future, no question.

Very good resort”

We spent 4 days in Visesa Ubud resort. We had a good stay. The service is very good and the staffs always do everything to help you. We chose the one bedroom with private pool and it was very spacious and clean. You have a variety of food for the breakfast and the quality of the food is great. We will definitely come back.

Awesome place”

This resort was amazingly beautiful and the staff were extremely courteous. I would strongly recommend this resort as we have taken back lot of good memories from our stay here. We are thankful to all the staff at Visesa Ubud resort for making our stay a memorable one.

Best in Ubud?”

We chose to go to a hotel on the outskirts of Ubud and were well pleased with that decision. Not sure of the attraction of Ubud, but for us it was noisy, traffic ridden, alternate clothes shops and restaurants, and although there are lots of temples to see, there can be a limit! The attractions are out of town. Quiet, and with lots of country walking to mee5 and talk with locals. Our grandchildren loved the facilities at Visesa. Kiddies centre, farm, lots of birds and animals, the whole place is based in being a local village, albeit rather luxurious! To our mind the best place in Ubud from what we saw. If you want to go to town there is a free shuttle on the hour every hour from early till late.

Visesa - A couples paradise”

My partner and I absolutely loved Visesa, from the moment we arrived we were greeted with open arms. Our flight had been cancelled so we arrived a day late and Visesa were kind enough to accomodate our request of extending our stay.. Which we found to be very thoughtful and we were very grateful. The grounds consisting of beautiful huts, rice fields, an open air gym, spa, multiple high quality restaurants, kids club, tranquil and scerene surrounds, gorgeous pool - was paradise! From breakfast to dinner, the meals were second to none, all fresh, locally sourced, organic produce.. Was a culinary delight no matter what time of day you dined. I have to make a special mention to the restaurant managers both Indra and Wayan for making our time at Visesa so special. Their customer service, kind recommendations, going well and truly above and beyond - we will be forever grateful for treating us like family. We cannot wait to visit Visesa again in the near future. Thank you so much!

Peaceful, tranquil with excellent staff”

The highlight from the resort is the friendly and excellent staff. Upon arrival we were greeted by check-in staff; Made. She is just excellent and nice. Our request for late check-out was granted as there the room was after we check-out. Resort location is just 5 minutes drive from Ubud Central, with hourly free shuttle running from 10:00-22:00. The resort itself has plenty of activities to offer, from farming, yoga to houseriding. It also comes with free 30mins photo shot and 1 printed photo. With 3 restaurants in the resort there are plentiful food varieties to choose from. The room is huge with the bathtub next to your bed. It is very nice and luxurious. With the nice scenerey and background, it just seems like there is not hours in the day to explore the resort. The hotel also has in-house spa and massage. Which each room is located inside caves. Will definitively go back there again to stay for a long period next time.

Wonderful stay”

We stayed at Visesa for one week. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We booked one bedroom villa with private pool and really loved the villa and the private pool overlooking tropical greenery. The decor and landscaping of this hotel is really incredible. Our villa had a little pond at the entry way with a stream of water - so beautiful and relaxing. Flowers everywhere. We absolutely loved coming back to the villa after a day of exploring. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. The only thing we didn’t like was the food. We ordered room service quite often and the food always disappointing. Their menu items don’t always correspond with what you get. I had to call reception couple times to let them know that the items on the menu were not what I got. I ordered pineapple juice once and got a glass of something that tasted synthetic. We tried their buffet dinner once and were also disappointed. There are many great restaurants in Ubud - I recommend eating out!

Visesa Ubud Resort is something special, we had a great time when visiting here and can only recommend it. From the amazing one bedroom pool room to the outstanding breakfast and the very attentive staff who were just so friendly and efficient.

We would highly recommend your only option in Ubud is The Visesa. The property, location, staff and service are the best in Ubud. We loved the fact the resort is nestled in a rice terrace. The Visesa is the only resort we will consider for future trips to Ubud 💏
