Hotel Resol Trinity Sapporo
Sapporo,Sapporo - View on map
"The best local chain hotel I have experienced in Japan so far! Close to the Sapporo station, 10 minutes by foot, or right in front of the Odori Subway station if you chose not to walk (that's one stop from Sapporo station). The hotel is located in between of Sapporo Station and Susukino, facing the large Odori Park. Summer beer garden and festival made the whole place very lively. While its location has scored great brownie points, let's talk about the room itself. Great design with best use of space, coupled with modern furnitures and most importantly spacious bathroom, which is rare in Japan. The hotel also offers complimentary spa, where you can soak in and overlooking the city though I didn't have the time to try but I am sure it's a plus after a rough day of sightseeing in the midst of summer. Staffs are helpful and friendly too, which is much appreciated in a foreign country when your Japanese language is at bare minimum level."

Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo

"Paid triple room for two nights about $470++[breakfast for 3]. Thought it was a steal & booked after reviewing many hotels in Sapporo. Very basic room but everything was there. H/e, I won’t repeat booking if coming back if given the same room quality. Staff are good and courteous, location is about 1km from Sapporo station. There are under pass with many shops and restaurants from Sapporo station to almost hotel."

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sapporo-Susukino
Sapporo,Sapporo - View on map
"If you would like the best hotel in Sapporo with the most affordable price and best location the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sapporo Susukino is the one. Just 3 mins walk from outside Hosui Suksukino station and 5 mins walk from Odori Park with a great view of Sapporo Tower. Outside the hotel is Tanukikoji Shopping Street and Nijo Market both just 15 mins walk away. There are tons of souvenir shops, stores, restaurants & mini-marts around the hotel. The hotel lobby is on the 2F so you need to walk up stairs or take the lift. The room is quite spacious for a Japan standard room hotel. The bed and blanket are comfortable. The TV only caters to local channel and the wifi is slow. The toilet is big compared to other Japan type hotels and the toiletries are generously provided but when we checked-in their is water on the sinks so I have to drain it. No complimentary bottled water but other than that they serve coffee and tea on the mini bar. Other than these it was indeed a pleasant stay :=) "

Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo

"Location is the best, a few steps away from JR Sapporo station and restaurants/cafes/shops. I am a return traveller and this time I travelled with family of 4, including 2 elderly. The hotel staff were hospitable, friendly, polite and helpful, especially with assisting me with an onsen booking. They also noted down all my needs before my arrival and were able to satisfy my requests and even wow’ed me with extra service. All staff were friendly and polite, even the floor staff. Rooms were clean and amenities were complete. You can even use their breakfast room after hours to make a cup of tea/coffee. I would recommend this hotel to those travelling with children/elderly or those who want to stay close to Sapporo station"

Hotel Wing International Chitose
Chitose,Sapporo - View on map
"When I arrived at Hotel Wing International Chitose I was exhausted after spending a week volunteering on a farm in central Hokkaido near Kamifurano. Hotel Wing International Chitose was perfect for my needs - 2 days to recharge and relax, with a brief, easy trip to downtown Sapporo for some sightseeing and then a free transfer to the airport on the morning of my departure. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and efficient. The staff were very friendly. Best of all, the hotel was very reasonably priced considering other high prices I encountered for hotels during my travels in Japan. Highly recommended if you want to be near the airport and don't have a lot of energy for sightseeing! If your goal is to be in the center of Sapporo, this may not be for you, but if you want a low-maintenance setup, quiet atmosphere, and easy departure, this works because it is cheap and not terribly time consuming to take the train back to Sapporo for some sightseeing."

Cross Hotel Sapporo

"This hotel is fairly new, about 3 years old and it's more modern than the other hotels in Sapporo area. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We like that the rooms are more spacious than the other hotels we browsed and the interior is quite modern. The hotel's location is excellent, it's within 5 minutes walk from Sapporo station and Tokyu dept store. There are a lot of good restaurants around the hotel so you don't need to worry about food. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to sapporo!"

Sapporo View Hotel Oodori Kouen
Sapporo,Sapporo - View on map
"Staff were friendly and efficient. Laundry facilities work fine but would be better if there is a coin dispenser (detergent dispenser takes 10 yen coins, washer and dryer takes 100 yen coins, IIRC). It's close to the action on Odori Park. The bus from airport stops here to drop passengers, but if you want to catch a bus to airport early in the morning, you will have to check if they stop at nearby Resol Hotel (5-10 mins walk) or Grand Sapporo Hotel (15-20 mins walk). Nearby Nishi 11 chome station only have stairs, as do many entrances to the underground plaza linking Odori station and Sapporo station."

Dormy Inn Premium Sapporo Hot Spring
Sapporo,Sapporo - View on map
"The best part is breakfast, fabulous, and generous.. While staff members are friendly however only a few were capable of speaking English a little . I was wondring if the hotel management expects foreigners to speak Japanese, rather than the hotel staff welcoming their guests in English, What kind of strategy is it? I could have received more tips from the staff about Sapporo travel if they had some command in English. I also wondered how the hotel staff would do when they would expect more guests traveling from all over the world during the next Olympics. Room was a bit bigger, clean, but no safe box in my room. All in all, I had a restful stay. "

Sapporo Prince Hotel
Sapporo,Sapporo - View on map
"Sapporo Prince is a beautiful hotel. It has its own hot spring spa (which is a famous recreational activity in the Sapporo area). The views from any room are magnificent. Because it is a circular shaped building, you are guaranteed a great view no matter where your room will be facing since the city of Sapporo is spectacularly backdropped by snow capped mountains! the staff are very helpful from check-in, to tour reservation help and guidance, all the way to check-out. Free wifi and UCC coffee are nice add on touches for the guest. The only knock is its a bit far from the Tanuki Koji shopping arcade and Susukino where most of life happens in Sapporo. But considering Sapporo is a small city which you can basically walk around easily, this is a minor concern."
