Location: only 7 mins walk on a flat road from the train/ bus station, where there's also a few restaurants and 2 convenient stores (7-11 and Lawson). Though it could be quite dark at night. It's about 15 mins walk to the lake/ tram station. Facilities: There's adequate amenities in the kitchen and they provide simple breakfast in the morning. You can order a shabu shabu dinner too. The cleanness of the shower room is acceptable with adequate hot water. The guesthouse was only half-full on both nights I stayed, so I didn't have to queue for anything at all. Room: I stayed in a 2-person tatami room. It was spacious for one person and probably adequate for two. Although I was facing the mountain instead of Mt Fuji, the view was pleasant too. This is a 60+ years old Japanese house, hence, the "walls" are basically thin wooden plank, and you can hear almost everything next door, e.g. a mum murmuring to her child. So, if noise is an issue for you, this is probably not the right place.

Nice Friendly B&B”
If you look for culture experience, you must stay in this hotel. They offer free trial on "Japanese clothing" which you need to pay for 3000 Yen in other shops. Also, the staff are very friendly. I went for 2 Days hiking in Mountain Fuji and they allowed me to leave my luggage in the hostel, even though i am not staying there after the hike. The only thing is they don't have air conditioning and the room is not big. Therefore if you look for luxury or air-con this is not a place for you. Highly recommended.

Perfect Location and Friendly Staffs”
Everything was perfect, the location is very near the station , the staffs are quite friendly and the facilities worth the price. Some of the staffs maybe cannot speak very good English, they still help a lot and make you feel quite warm staying there.

Character-filled old house - good value in convenient location”
It is an old Japanese house converted to a hostel, but also has private rooms, traditional style. The bathroom has been converted to individual showers, but otherwise many original features are intact. It's very convenient for tours around the area, and very good value. The staff are kind and helpful, unfortunately some of the other guests not so much.

Great location and comfy beds”
The place is located only about 5 mins walk from the station. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds were super comfy and warm for a futon. They also have a kotatsu in the lounge which awesome for warming yourself up after a cold day. Only stayed for one night so didn't really get to use the bathrooms so can't comment on that. Would recommend for a short stopover at Mt Fuji.

I already imformed to check-in late. When i arrived there hotel staff let me knock the door so i knocked many times no one answer me . I must opened that door due it was too late and i feel really sleepy waiting outside more than 20 minutes!! after i opened he act like upset and blame me not to open the door and act a really bad gesture !! After lead me to the room he turn back to blame me again and i explanied him ! ‘ i knocked many times no one answer me !! He realized that and said sorry to me ? That s all

5 mins walk from Fujikawakuchi station, very nice location. The room is warm and big for a solo traveler, and the staffs are friendly, my stay here was really comfortable (I especially love the kotatsu in the room). You can also pay to use the laundry machine (washer & dryer).

El personal majísimo, se esfuerza en satisfacer a los clientes. Nos facilitó información y nos dio recomendaciones para comer. Hasta aprendimos algunas palabras más de japonés. Está muy cerca de la estación de tren y autobuses. La habitación de estilo japonés era amplia e incluso pudimos ver el Fuji desde la ventana. Todo estaba muy limpio. Ofrece un desayuno ligero con tostadas y pan de leche.

Ryoku tradtionnel, propre, accueillant”
Prix assez eleve, mais prestation ok, Lit futon, chambre et litterie ok, un peu bruyant mais cest le concept du ryoku qui veut ca avec des murs assez fin. Petit plus pour la douche assez agreable. Situe pas tres loin de la gare donc cool pour les grimpeurs du Mont fuji. Personnel accueillant et chaleureux. Deadline du petit dejeuner un peu courte (9h30 dernier service pour 2 tranches de pain et cafe/the). Propre.
