Great Spa Retreat with Hot Spring ”

- We were one of the first customers at the hotel linked to a well established hot spring spa in the local area - Quite a distance from town but worth it (hotel offer delivery services) - Services are excellent, spa and hotel staff were very attentive - Rooms are simple but well equipped (need to take some care with some furnishing and layout) - Outdoor Hot Spring is fantastic, hot spring is set will in the middle of the forest surrounded by old trees which the owner made great effort not to cut them down - Massage service is good, we can really feel that we are in the middle of real forest with birds and insects chirping away in the background - Happy to recommend to other travellers and we will come back again if we have a chance. - The resort also offer day-spa service with transport options from krabi.

Paradise in Krabi”

We had an amazing stay in Wareerak. The hot springs were incredible and rejuvenating. The rooms were well kept and we were upgraded to stay in a villa which I would recommend but the bamboo huts were naturally ventilated and cool at night. Just a few critters around outside that you could hear that woke us up. Otherwise an ideal retreat away from the city. Thanks to the host for taking care of us.

A Hot Springs Garden of Eden”

During a hot spring tour of Thailand (a country with so many geothermal gems) this was an absolute southern highlight. The bamboo cottages are extremely well appointed: clean, spacious, comfortable and feel very exclusive - the kind of thing you'd expect in a resort three or four times the price. And the hot spring pools themselves: in a word, bliss. They range in temperature from refreshing cool to mind-numbingly hot, and are shaded by beautiful forest trees in a manner that is tasteful, private and very relaxing. The food in the restaurant is very good (they cater well to vegetarians) and the staff bend over backwards to offer a warm and hospitable stay. Highly, highly recommended - and we'll certainly be including a few nights here on our next visit to Thailand.

Paradise beauty! ”

Really enjoyed our 2 days stay at this fantastic place! We had the possibility to visit the Hot Springs (by walking) and the Emerald Pool in the early mornings when it was not crowded. The Wareerak resort itself is like a beautiful and peaceful garden. I can really recommend this place if you want to spend a few days in a quite and peaceful atmosphere.

Very nice ”

We had a nice time at Wareerak. It is a perfect place for a small retreat in the nature. The hotel has private hot spring pools which made our stay exceptional. We were also offered a body scrub. The hotel restaurant has a nice variety of homemade local dishes. The staff is very friendly.

Great resort and enjoy hot spring”

Location hidden in the jungle and privacy resort and tropical green rain forest. The entrance not so good for sedan car then recommended 4 wheels or the car suite the gravel road around 1km. GPS work well to guide to the resort passing the palm trees and rubber trees side of the road. Room is nice a lot if space and have necessary amenities. No TV in the room then should prepare a good book or stay in peace and relax with enjoy the nature sound. Man made pond a choice of cool, warm and hot spring (42 C) and great designed located in the jungle. Choose at least 1-2 spa package then more relaxing during stay. Breakfast is great and choice of dishes. Restaurant staff warm welcome and great services. Order the food to the room for dinner and enjoy it. After dinner have welcome foot massage as we postpone from check in to 7.00 instead and good massage. Overall experience is enjoyable and relaxing, great choice to escape from the busy and cities.

Nice place to stay for hot springs.”

This hotel is basically built on hot springs which makes it excellent choice to stay if you come for hot springs. We had to change our bamboo bungalow on villa, because there was a problem with hot water, however we liked bamboo bungalow more than villa. Villa suite was a bit shabby and dirty and require renovation. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel has a big variety of Spa packages and treatments however they are quite expensive. We tried their Signature Massage and Oil Massage with Body Scrab and we liked them. Food at the restaurant was quite good. Nice bonus was that they offer free bicycles to take and ride that we enjoyed.

a few drawbacks overall great experience”

The yoga pro they had was a wonderful Italian man jan, jim, jen... (sorry I'm terrible with names) and was very knowledgeable and able to adapt to my needs but I'm sure he can take extremely advanced yogis as well. The springs on site are clean, beautiful and relaxing, and both the men that run the restaurant were AWESOME. Getting a taxi there and back will likely cost you between 2500-3000 baht though, and excursions aren't cheap either despite the krabi hot springs being less than a mile away (or across the river if you're feeling brave. I'm 5'3 and it came to my shoulders at the deepest. 😉) but make sure if you go to the natural hot spring waterfall or the emerald pool to go EARLY. The emerald pool is packed by 10:30AM and I've heard a tour bus pull up on krabi hot springs by 8. don't be surprised if there's no one in reception, i had to have one of the restaurant guys grab a desk clerk everytime.

Amazing Place”

We stayed for three nights and were sad we had to leave. Why we loved the place: beautiful gardens, best hot spring pools we've seen so far in Thailand, great spa, friendly staff, good kitchen, nice rooms, classes (yoga, meditation, cooking), remote in the jungle but proximity to Krabi and the Emerald Pool and probably much more. Perfect spot for calming down from the hectic

A paradise in the forest”

If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax in the nature, this is the perfect place. You can find some private beautiful hot spring pools among the trees and if you need a traditional Thai massage, ask for mr. Chok, he is an incredible master! The first time I came to Thailand was 35 years ago, I love Thai massage but I have never experienced something like this. This man look like is reading inside you. A massage from him is an absolutely MUST. Tha place is secluded, but you don't need anything else. The restaurant provide good Thai food, but the choice is limited. I have been in the villa n.2, the best accommodation they provide. Go there with your loved one or with someone to fall in love with, enjoy the nature, the fantastic private pools, and overall, please, don't miss at least three massages from that Master!

Amazing location”

Beautiful gardens and stunning location Extremely friendly and efficient staff I have a few mobility issues so access to the pools was not easy but with staff help was possible. Our room was far better than expected with mini fridge and coffee making facilities with complimentary drinking water. Would not recommend for wheelchair users but if you can manage to walk and negotiate a few steps the hot pools are well worth the effort. We drove ourselves and found it easy to find with only a few bumpy bits on the off road bit. Food was delicious and beatfully presented. They made a simple dish on request for our 13 year old daughter but she was still able to try lots of different dishes from our set menu option. Had to leave early for flight so did not experience breakfast sadly. Would definitely return if only to hear the sounds of the jungle come alive at night !

Place is nice, food is awful”

First things first, you are hostage here. They don’t rent motorbikes or cars and everything else is MILES away. Basically, you have to eat at their restaurant. Only the Thai Green Curry is good, however, the majority of the time it came out cold. The rest of the food wasn’t very good at all. The staff were confused with every single request we made. Even seemingly simple questions, like whether they offer laundry services, or refilling the minibar. Every time someone at reception would need to disappear for 30 mins while they find out. The same at the restaurant. It’s like everyone there is on their first day. The room was incredible. The hot springs were bloody amazing. We also got a free foot massage in our room from a lady named Porn (not a typo). It was very relaxing and a nice touch. Even though it could be a lot better, I would recommend one night here (max 2) to chill by the hot spring and get a massage. It was well worth the frustration.

Right in the middle of a forest, the hotel offers its own hot springs and Waterfall. It's a wonderful hideaway and an amazing environement (butterflies and birds). I recommend it for every kind of travelers! The service is great and breakfood is good!

Nice place but nothing works!”

Wareerak hot spring resort (stayed during 24-27 December 2015) and faced the following 12 problems: 1 no hot water in shower on 26 Dec 2 no internet for most of 25 Dec 3 cold rice and tomyam served on 25 Dec night 4 no service in restaurant for breakfast at 9 am 26 December 5 Butter and papaya finished in breakfast 9 am 26 December 6 fish was not cooked with proper spices on 24 and 25 December dinner 7 room telephone never works 8 no attendant in office or hot spring area during 26 December 9 no offer of complementary massage and body scrub on 26 (for 2 who didn't take it on 25 December) 10 no replacing of toilet roll and teabag etc in the room when cleaning on 25 and 26 December 11 Restaurant staff don't know basic English like spoon, omelette or butter 12 mistake in calculations

A great place to relax!”

Staff is very kind, rooms are clean. A lot of mosquitoes but you can get passed this with a good repellent. Food is good and the hot springs are very relaxing.

Excellent”

The property is gorgeous and serene. The hot spring is an idyllic experience. However, it is worth noting that the spa stops taking reservations at 4 PM each day, so if you arrive late, you may miss the opportunity! Additionally the road leading up to the property is quite difficult to access, especially in rainy season. Be prepared for mud and a bumpy, off-road ride.

Relaxed stay but some issues with food and service”

The location is remote and relaxing, set amongst open gardens and tropical fruit trees. Our room was comfortable and traditional in style. Staff are very friendly and picked fresh beautifully scented flowers to put in our bathroom each day. The jungle spa and massage on the second day was very relaxing and one of a kind and the fruit market was fun to see. Breakfast was not a buffet as listed but rather we were served a bowl of congee and a bowl of soup, toast and fresh fruit. Maybe this was because we were the only guests in the whole resort, however the food was very nice. The biggest problem we found with our stay was the second night when we went to have dinner at about 8pm but found the restaurant empty with no staff to be found anywhere on the resort. Our in-room phone did not work so we had no way of contacting anyone. The front gate to the resort was closed and the whole place appeared to be deserted. We literally felt stranded. This was a big saftey concern and we also had to go to bed hungry.

Remote location but great ambience, clean, large rooms, friendly staff & nice food”

Location was a bit remote but that's the beauty of the place. It is serene and peaceful. However, be warned transport from the airport to the resort is on the high side due to the distance(also partly because I was travelling solo). Check-in was smooth and staff's brief was clear and concise. Room is very large. I stayed in the Villa Deluxe (with a double bed, on 2nd floor). Bathroom has a bathtub but shower area is a little narrow. They provide shampoo, conditioner & bath gel along with the usual vanity. You are also given a sarong dress and disposable panties (for ladies) to use at the hotspring and pants/shirt for men. Hotspring pools have 3 temperatures, Very Warm (<42 degrees), Warm & Cool (>27 degrees). There are more than 10 pools so you don't really have to worry about overcrowding. I only wished they offer Halal food option for Muslims. Oh the the Kinaree full day spa which was supposed to be 6 hours was done in about 5 hours so I felt a little shortchanged...

Fantastic experience ”

Went with friends , rooms very clean, ate at restaurant evening and food was fabulous, breakfast buffet a bit disappointing but adequate. Hot springs was amazing and not busy. Welcome foot massage in room a real treat, only problem for me was no air con, and fan not powerful so did not sleep too well. But probably would go again if just one night 😁

Great place to relax”

Great place to enjoy the beauty of Nature. Nice, Quite and Relax Resort with hot spring in the hotel as you can use as many times as you want. Great breakfast option.
