It was a good one. As we dont always stay in the room so we just hired some backpackers room for this time at Sydney . It was beyond expectation . The staff are just superb and we just treated like their family . A hotel for those who seek for fun

Room was sunny and unbelieveably clean! Cheap and perfect location! Can't believe we got to stay in Sydney CBD for 25$ each with private bathroom to boot! Will always be our favorite place to stay!

I stayed 1 night in 4 female share room. This is my first time for staying dorm. But it's over expected. Bed was clean and soft with warm blanket provided. It had shower in a room. It was also clean as it seemed like other mates rarely stayed in the room. Nomads provides a lot of social activities. If you travel alone and wanna make new friends, you won't regret. Its common kitchen is quite nice. There are pan, pot and other basic utensil. You can store your food in fridge which will be allocated in a shopping bag provided. This backpacker is close to everywhere. So you can save your transportation cost by walking instead if you wanna travel around the CBD.

Located in the heart of Sydney! Just right in the front of world square. With lots and lots of pubs, clubs, bars! Good price for a double room, the last minute deal was absolutely cheap for a weekend accommodation .

Great Hostel where it is easy to connect and to make new friends! I stayed here for 5 days and really enjoyed my time here. My room was clean and big enough and I never saw a dirty kitchen (Except for 8-12pm on Friday night, but guess why ... :-P) Staff is very friendly and respectful. Thanks to John the legend-receptionist. He is doing a great job day and night!! Cheers mate! I've been travelling through Australia for 8 month now and I have seen many many hostels: The Nomads Sydney is one of my Highlights!

Was here with my partner and sister in sydney for a concert. Booked the family room...beds were comfy, private bathroom, room great for one night stay. Close to central station, great price. Staff friendly.

Very cheap! 23$/pp for weekend in Sydney during Christmas week? You won't find anything cheaper than this one. Well, it comes with a standard not-so-clean old property. But I booked for friends so all is well.

Near train stations. Central and Museum Stations. Located at city central..15-20 min walk to Sydney Harbor and Opera House. Near to restaus, malls, convenience stores

Fine for what it is.”

It is a backpacker's place to stay, so one does not expect anything fantastic. The staff was very friendly and each night provide an activity to do, which is nice. Privacy isn't guaranteed unless you go for a single room. Bathrooms are very cramped and the public ones are not the nicest places to be involved. Other than that, the hotel was not too shabby to stay at with the cheap price. I'd recommend it for anyone just stopping by Sydney and needing a place to stay for a few nights.

Dirty”

I was backpacking in Sydney and looking for a cheap place to stay. It was surprising that the hotel is so cheap in a mixed dorm type room with 32 guest in a room. However, the room is so dirty, it smells really really bad. Good thing I stayed there just for a night and I was so tired and slept right away. They did not give me linens so I asked the staff if I can have one but the staff informed me I can get linens on those vacant beds. I wasn’t sure if those linens are used or not but they are folded. You get what you pay for. Never Again. I’m sorry, just honest review. Kudos to Jenn who is so helpful.

8 of us booked 2 family rooms @4 as I was attracted by the picture in Agoda which was not the same with real condition. I can understand that the price is very attractive, affordable but I thought this hotel is more suitable for young people and not family. I travelled with my big sisters who had challenge with stairs while the elevator is not working from the entrance to the lobby. The heater is not working properly and it was winter time. The bed sheet and carpets are not clean, also the bathrooms in our room. So finally, the boys still stayed there, and the ladies found another hotel nearby.

An hostel with 'a church'. ”

Friendly and helpful staff ,whatever your color. As long as you are not a insane guest. Big kitchen with all the cooking tools , storage and fridge you need. Rooms are mostly neat and clean. Except the floor where 'the chxrch' is located. Near by to Sydney Central Train Station. Good for travelers. Near to Chinatown , Central market, pubs, parks, gallaries, shoppings, mall, ,etc. Met some Europeans and Asian friends. I saw South Americans gathered there and make a lot of noise , music , dances, and fights. The management do nothing to lower the music and noise.

You know what to expect at a backpackers. We booked a triple room for 2 nights. Double bed on bottom, single on top bunk bed. Was comfortable enough. Best part was private bathroom, not immaculate but did the job. Air con would not go off heat mode so didnt use it. Powerpoints didnt work in room. No wifi access from room. The room was clean enough. We had to get towels too as there were none in the room. Price cheap ($125 a night on weekend for triple.room). Great location, 2 mins walk to central station, chinatown, capital theatre and world square. If.you want something cheap, not fancy and clean, not a bad stay.

Just right for backpackers”

We just needed a place to sleep in that is not expensive and conveniently located near Central. This place gave us just what we needed. Nomads Westend Backpackers is a hip and cheap backpackers place with satisfactory services but has loads of party and tourist destination suggestions. Perfect for backpackers.

It's clean but a little too noisy coz it's in the CBD. I have booked this hostel for several times and i felt very comfortable every time. People there are all nice and easy to talk with.

It depends on what you're looking for”

Being one of the cheapest hostels in Sydney, don't expect any sort of luxury. We booked the 32 bed dorm, but the staff upgraded us to a 4 bed dorm. They also let us check in early!! They were great and probably the best thing in this hostel. However, dorms were super dirty, our first room had cockroaches and water problems. Our second room though was pretty good and we had no problems. The atmosphere is great for someone sub 25. The kitchen is super dirty, no one cleans their one dishes and they just expect the kitchen staff to do it. This made it one of the worst kitchens I've seen in a hostel in my life. All in all it was an average stay. I don't know if I would say the same if I had stayed in the 32 bed dorm though.
