Pleasant Surprise - Jan/2020”
Travelled to the resort from Jan 16 - 23/20 and after reading the reviews was not expecting too much. Was pleasantly surprised about the facilities which included an outdoor hot tub (heated to 102 F) and a heated pool. The work out facilities include a steam room and all life-fitness equipment (2x treadmills, elliptical, bike and universal gym). Would be preferred to use a gym with windows instead of the basement. Had some trouble with staff cleaning the rooms but the receptionist was very attentative and parking was free and very close-by. Wi-Fi is not free which is an outdated policy. Would stay again as they plan to renovate this spring.

Paper thin walls”
The walls weren't insulated well as I was able to hear every word the neighbors would say as well as the television. There was an adjoining wall that had a 2 inch gap underneath and I was able to smell the food they were warming up in the microwave. When I called to make reservation I was told we could use the golf practice facility and then we found out there was no driving range at the site. I would not go back or recommend this place.

Dirty, disappointing ”
I should of known that my stay wasen't going to pleasant as soon as I checked it.. My husband booked a hotel room for me in celebration of my birthday. When he booked, he noticed on the bottom of the receipt it says that you must show the credit card you used to book the hotel room with and matching ID when you check it. So on the date of check in, July 18, we had to drag 2 children down to the hotel, only to be told by the guy behind the front desk, "oh no you don't need to show the credit card or ID is already pre-paid for." So why have this on your receipt when it's not true? So my husband and 2 children left, I finished the check in process, I was handed a stack of paperwork and my room key envolope. I was then asked 'will you be needing WiFi?' Confused I said 'yes', he then said 'ok, I will comp it for you.' 'What do you mean you will comp it for me? The WiFi isn't free?' 'No, we charge for WiFi.' He then said 'I'm embarrassed to tell guests that our WiFi is not free, and that check out time is 10am' Now I'm getting more confused. 'I thought industry standard was atleast 11am if not 12 for check out time?' He said 'No, sorry it's 10am.' Ugh! So he showed me a map, marked were my room was and told me he would be there til 11pm if I had any questions. I left got in my car, and drove to the parking lot near my room. I found my room, and started looking for my room key in the stack of paperwork he gave me. Only to realize that I have the envolope but no key. Ugh! So I had to walk all the way back to the front desk, and tell him 'you gave me the envolope but no key' 'oh I'm so embarrassed, here you go.' He handed me the key and I walked back to my room. When I opened the door, the room looked somewhat clean. It was alittle dated, but clean. So I settled in, I went to turn on my comp'ed WiFi only to figure out that I needed a computer to access it. It's the 21st Century and not everything is done on computers. Everyone has a smart phone, and uses it to access the Int

Alles flach......
