Pet-friendly, but lacking in general service/cleanliness”

Located in an older, run down part of East Mesa. A block down the road were junkies & transients begging for money. We arrived at 2pm for our scheduled early check-in, but our room wasn't ready. Asked to use the lobby restroom and she said they were not for the public (even though we were paying guests). Later I saw her give the mailman keys to use the restroom. Came back at 3pm and got the room keys. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor. Our reservation was for 2 queen beds, but the room only had 1 bed. I call the front desk & was told to go back to the front desk to get new room keys (most hotels would have sent someone to the room with new keys). Our new room was on the 1st floor. However, it reeked of cleaning spray smell. Breakfast the next morning was cereal, toast, coffee, and orange juice. Lacking in food quality we chose to eat elsewhere. The only positives are the price & being pet-friendly at extra $10/night. Staff were not rude, just did not have common courtesies.

The room was very clean and quite spacious. I liked my stay and would prefer this hotel again.

What a Bargain , clean, nice room and fine bed. I was glad there was no carpet, only nice wood and tile flooring. Breakfast the usual waffles, toast, muffin, oatmeal with coffee, milk, orange juice. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Windemere Awful”

We only stayed for only 1 night (thank god) on December 11, 2020. We got 2 rooms. Both rooms were small and somewhat dirty. One of the rooms had a dead roach in the bathtub and a live roach on one of the beds. Sheets also looked dirty. Went up and complained to the front desk and they put us in a new room in another building. The beds in both rooms were very small. They say they are queen size but really felt like a full. Hotel is also located in a bad area of Mesa. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. However, if you choose to stay here, make sure you have protection!

Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. The place is a dump. The staff was friendly but thats about it. The ded in the room was so badly broken down i couldnt sleep on it and the room smelled like cigars despite it being non smoking. The shower head was only as high as my chin and the mini fridge wasnt cold. I paid three hundred dollars for 2 nights all in and we arrived at 130 from a 14 hour drive but were not allowed to check in until 3. In San Francisco we would have gotten a much nicer place for the amount we paid. I am very disappointed. When we complained about the be, we were told, "The manager is out of town". We sent an email to the manager and it has not been answered, personally i would rather of slept in the car. Avoid this place, its like a crack hotel in San Francisco. One of the vending machines had graffiti on it that said " help, i've fallen and i can't re-up." That should tell you what you want to know.

I was happy with how comfortable my room was the place was very quiet had a nice area in the back and a small patio definitely somewhere I plan on staying again and soon!!

The beds were so uncomfortable and had burns from cigarettes in them even though we were in a non smoking room. It has the potential to be a nice hotel but i don't think idk stay there again.

Never AGAIN”

I booked a room for Saturday then decided I stay one more night. I was told Saturday that I could stay in same room but to check in again Sunday for the next night. Come Sunday was told I have to switch rooms and that they belongings I have with me couldn't move over to the next room until check in time. I do not have a car and would like to go do something fun with my son but I have to carry everything I have with me on the bus and wherever we go. How inconvenience and not only the simple thing is to accommodate a guest to maybe hold my belongings in the office or stay in the room I am in until another room is available, but to harass me that I have to check out at 11am.

Absolutely Horrible!!! Super dirty room, had an unusual odor. The staff displayed the worst hospitality I’ve seen. I’m pretty sure there were blood drops on the tile floor and the grout in the bathroom was stained brown in a few spots. There was Missing base board around the room and small holes in the wall. Someone vomited on the balcony and it was never cleaned up, so it had just dried up. I was worried about bugs, so I bought bed bug spray and bought bedding to replace theirs. Go stay someplace else.

Staff was nice. Room was big. Wi-Fi seemed spotty. Bed was not very soft.

Disappointed ”

Smelled like sour milk and mildew, so much so that my pajamas smelled the next day. Television, several decades old, had one channel. Red stains on carpet, yellow stains on counter top, paint on bedside stands, flooring sticky, layers of dust on the walls. Everyone we met at breakfast was laughing about spending money on such a disgusting room.

The room was disgusting, foul smelling couldn’t even stand to be in the room. Old carlet, furniture and linens. The outside parking lot and grounds was filthy. Had not been cleaned in sometime
