We stayed 2 week in Wongamat Privacy residence. The advantages I already mentioned: spacious rooms, not to expensive and a big pool. But there were some cons too: the breakfast, especially the coffee or tea was not good. After one week we went for breakfast to a restaurant (bon pain / Pattaya beergarden). Second: The location is in about 500 metres distance from the main road. You have especially in the evening to walk through a quite dark street to reach the hotel. On the 3rd day of our stay we were victims of a robbery. The guys with black helmets on a motor bike passed by slowly and grapped and stole my golden chain and then disappeared quickly. No chance to identify. I think they were quite experienced and the location, the long dark street was somehow supporting this. Therefore we would not go there again.

Nice pool”

The place is close to Wongamat Beach, very quiet. The room looks dated but nice and clean. The room we stayed has a big balcony looking over the big pool. We love the pool area. However, they should put more umbrella around the pool. It has the tropical environment with palm tree and garden. Breakfast is just alright. The pillow is TOO hard.

Nice hotel”

Wongamat is a great hotel, it's beautiful, luxurious well secured and private. The only downside to it is that you need a car or motorbike to get anywhere as the nearest restaurant is about one kilometer away. The internet is a bit of a downside at 800 baht a day. But in general, we really enjoyed our stay there.

Nice converted condo, mostly Russians”

Almost 100% of the guests are Russian families, I think through a tour group. It is not a hotel but a converted condo. The pool is nice and big but all the lounge chairs are reserved by guests quite early, wish they would add more cushions to some of the chairs that don’t have them. Buffet breakfast is ok not great. Location is pretty close to a nice beach and a nice restaurant. The surrounding area caterers heavily to Russians. The rooms are large, make sure to get one overlooking the pool, has a nice private balcony with lounge chairs . They have pizza delivery at night. No coffee in room only hot water. Has a hair dryer in bathroom. Lighting for makeup mirror is poor. Our room had a king bed a double bed and a day bed! Not walking distance to central Pattaya but a short cab ride. I probably wouldn’t stay again but it isn’t a bad place to stay.

what i love the most is the bed, it's perfect for a family with kids. but the lobby is very poor design comparing to other hotel. i'm not gonna comment breakfast since it's just ok comparing to the price. what i hate the most are the bathroom and the front doors, it is very hard to close them and need to really push it!! i also heard noisy door close from other rooms as well and that's terrible when they close it late at night.

Good hotel in North Pattaya”

During my stay in this hotel was great for my family's holiday by overall, I got the goodview room #602 with big balcony. This hotel is not too far from my favorite local restaurant. This hotel makes me feel safe with security guard and make me comfortable with their facility. The most impression of this hotel was helpful front staff which she helped me to find the nice room until I was satisfied. She was the valuable staff there !!!

Good location hotel but room too small”

Locate on Na Klua area which is not too far from Pattaya city center and all night time entertainment. The hotel is new and have adequate facilities. The superior room is far from lobby in another building and the room is not so big. The shower area in the restroom is very tiny and no room to manuvuer during the shower. Guess the deluxe room at the main building would be better and larger.

Price VS quality is perfect. Room is large and clean. Swimming pool is large and fun for both kid and adult. However, the water quality in the swimming pool even it's not bad but it's suppose to be better than this. Berakfast is OK.

Just fair hotel with standard of 3 stars. If you book a deluxe room, it's really big! 80 sq.m. Nothing much in the room but the bed is big and clean. Breakfast is ok but runs out very fast when groups of guests come to breakfast. A lot of space for parking. There are 2 nice swimming pools attached to each other.

Nice a quiet location a bit far from all other things, including beach and DT Pattaya. However value for money and I do recommend it to friends (as I now actually have become a permanent resident in that area)

The place is quiet. The swimming pool is nice and in the good part of pattaya if you don't like traffic. There are a number of good restaurants nearby.

The location is a bit far, even that when you go to main stret can get a van to central pattaya (cost u 10bht) the hotel is new, the rooms are big, but in the shower the water are slow. TV have just thai program. in general if u looking just to sleep and have a regular breakfest , its not bad place to stay for the money. if u like to be more close to the action , better u book at the central of pattaya

Clean and conveniently located”

This hotel is worth the value of money. Staff are friendly and rooms are clean. It is convenintely located near many high- to low-end restuarants by the river and the temples, infact one is just within a five-minute walk from the hotel. Will definitely consider returning to this hotel again next time.

Great hotel complex and pool”

Good hotel for families who want peace and quiet. There were never more than a 20 people at the pool at one time throughout the day. The pool needed cleaning after a few days, and the breakfast was just ok. Staff really needed some encouragement to smile and respond to guest requests, so service could have been better. I doubt we'll be back, with so much choice in Pattaya.

Only caters for Russian people, very badly managed, inept staff”

There was so much wrong with this hotel that I wouldn't know where to start...I was the only english speaker in the entire complex. 95% of customers were Russian, and lots of signs only in Russian (with the exception of pool rules) The wi-fi connection that was advertised was faulty and almost non-existent. When I complained about this, I was moved to a room on the floor upstairs (after being shown many other clearly worse off rooms) but it was done in a rush and room had a problem with ants and very very dirty in the balcony area, so I still felt shortchanged, by that time I had complained about so many things that I could not deal with it anymore, I was there on holiday. Some reception staff didn't know how to deal with problems and could hardly speak any english. Some restaurant staff (sorry ladies) were very rude, the waiter guys however were nice. I was also asked by reception to pay 500 bht for my companion when I had booked a room for 2 people, lol, are you kidding me? Been in 8 hotels/condos around Pattaya booked through many different sources and of the 3-4 star range. This one has definitely been the worst experience.
