Paradise Found (Almost)”
Away from the main shopping/bar strip of Hua Hin, Wors Bura is nestled along a quiet road and runs straight to a beautiful beach. Blessed with wonderful East meets West architecture, entering Wora Bura is like stepping back in time. The curved, large pool is the centrepiece of this resort and swimming in it and gazing out to the sea will remain an enduring memory. Staffing levels were high even around the pool and pool restaurant, and one never wanted for anything. I am being a little critical when I mention TV here but to me, it is an important feature, as is internet. Wora Bora has Italian, German, French, Japanese, Korean and BBC, but no Australia Channel. Australia Channel is similar to BBC but has Australian sport featured (AFL and, if you must, rugby). It is a free-to-air channel throughout the Asia Pacific region and for a top resort not to have it is careless. Management please also note, that internet is no longer a luxury; it is important to most travellers as a tv. Charges of 450 baht per 24 hours with no provision for a weekly charge, is excessive and smacks of greed. Room sound-proofing was not good, and furniture being moved from place to place upstairs could be heard clearly and conversations from adjoining rooms was audible too; I am not sure what can be done to fix this problem now though. Thank goodness the gentlemen who arrived home at 3am were not of the boisterous kind! Wora Bura is a top resort; is has charm, ambiance and wonderful staff. it also has a wonderful location. Go here for a trip to unwind and where your every whim is catered for. But, ask for a room with no neighbours either side!

Great hotel for long or short stay”
We had a short stay, just three days unfortunately. I am saying unfortunately because Wora Bura Resort & Spa proved to be worth our time and made our stay at Hua Hin pleasant and enjoyable. I have never before thought that I would like to spend so much of my time in a hotel while traveling. This one is so charming and accommodating that I found every single minute spent there enjoyable. The facilities and personnel of Wora Bura Resort & Spa have earned my highest recommendation. I would be happy to return there during my next visit to Hua Hin.

What did happen when I check out.”
We had a wonderful time at Wora Bura Resort & Spa. The resort and staff were amazing. The room and food were excellent. We enjoyed it every much. Only one occasion that let us down, big time. When we checked out on Sunday the 6th of March at almost 12 am, everything went smoothly until we were told we forgot our stuff in the hotel room. And you know what happened? The lady at the reception, who was on duty , handed us the keycard and told us to go get our stuff ourselves. I had to walked all the way back, climbed three flights of stairs back to the hotel room to get my personal belongings. I believed she could have the courtesy to have someone bring it to us at the lobby where we were checking out, however she chose not to. This is not expected from a five star hotel. it is a big disappointment. Would I go back or would I recommend other to stay Wora Bura resort and spa? That depends on what you decide to do with the recieptionist. Like I said before it was almost perfect until this event occurred. Please don’t let one rotten apple ruined the whole carton. Lastly I wish Wora Bura Resort & Spa success. Thank you for the good time we had at Wora Bura Resort and Spa.

Wora Bura - great out of season”
Overall we were very happy with the Wora Bura Hotel. The rooms were very spacious and well decorated. The grounds were also well kept and a good size. Its location is away from Hua Hin, which we found perfect. Hua Hin can be easily reached in five minutes by the hotel bus service (no return service, but 150 baht by tuk tuk). The hotel food was mixed. The breakfast was a good buffet, lunch around the pool was okay, but the Italian restaurant was below standards. However, this was fine as there are a couple of restaurants nearby that are very good. Lets Sea restaurant is 30 seconds away and great. The staff were very helpful and polite. Also, I have read that people do not like the beach, but we found it fine. Very nice to stroll along and beach massages nearby if you want. Overall very much recommended. However, we went out of season in July, and I do believe this hotel would become a little crowded in full season and that might be a problem.

Beyond expectation”
Firstly, the hotel is not very new , but you can tell the staff maintained all equipment in good condition. And people work here are friendly and helpful, our first room is kind humid and smell musty inside. After call the counter they change me a room immediately and all these problem solved ! Breakfast is fine, pool is good and you can walk to the beach directly. The only thing we feel a little regret is, there's one day we have no plan and don't know where to go. Kids would like to see animals so we ask the advice from the counter, they give us a advice to hua hin safari and adventure park.(There's a flyer at the front door). I know it's not the staff fault since they may never been there. anyway the ticket of this safari park is very high, and as me nephew said, they use something to hit a elephant so it won't grab food from another smaller one. Except this, experience in Hua Hin and Wora Bura is excellent and I'll recommend this to my friends, thanks!

Lovely place with direct access to the beach and great service!”
This is the first time my family and I have been to Hua Hin and I am glad that we chose Wora Bura as our hotel. The resort is spacious and the location is quite good in my opinion. You have access to the beach from the hotel and only ~8 mins walk to Cicada night market and public transport. At first we went everywhere by taxi and they charged us 150 Baht per trip but after the first day we found our way around with public transport and it's much much cheaper that way. The room is spacious, clean and tidy, the bathroom is excellent and everything inside is nearly perfect. The staff is another highlight of the hotel, they are the most friendly and helpful bunch! They helped with arranging transport, buying tickets to waterparks and all other requests. The pool has a lovely view and unfortunately we didn't have enough to try all the activities and services in the hotel because we only stayed there for 3 nights. Will definitely come back.

Wonderful, small hotel with five-star feeling!”
This small hotel (77 rooms) has everything expected from a 5* hotel. The staff and service is great, the breakfast is absolutely excellent, with little extras on the buffet every day, and lots and lots to choose from. The pool area is great, one of the biggest and best pools I've seen. Comfy sun beds, and enough for everyone, two towels per person and day, and as soon as there was a rain shower that wet the towels, the staff came running with new ones! A little bit overpriced with food, and especially soft drinks in the bars, and the food in the restaurant is good, but not excellent. The pool bar is another source that needs improvement, no action, no good drinks, no happy hour (this was instead in the lobby bar 4 pm - 5 pm, but who sits at the lobby bar in the afternoon?). The rooms are huge, with nice balconies facing the garden/pool. We stayed in a superior room, so there were also bigger rooms, but we were 2 adults and 2 children, had 2 queen size beds, and this was more than enough for us. The bathroom is lovely too, with doors that can open up to the room, if you want to. Lovely interior design, colonial style, nice bathrobes and slippers, umbrellas and beach bag in the room. I can definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to Hua Hin and Takiab Beach. The hotel has a shuttle bus to Hua Hin town, we never had problems to get seats. Taxi back is 5 minutes and 150 baht. The only downside is that there are few restaurants in the area, besides the hotel. And in Hua Hin you have to like Italian, which is the most they serve there. But Supatra on the sea, south Takiab by the mountain, has great food and lovely surroundings for dinner in the evening. On the way in to Hua Hin I can reccomend a restaurant called Roccia, with rooftop dining (Italian, great pasta!) in the moon light! The hotel is lovely and I warmly recommend it!

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff”
we really enjoyed our stay at the wora bura resort. it is a lovely hotel. impressive architecture in 19th century style, yet it is only 6 years old. lovely gardens. it was a perfect sized hotel for our 2 boys, ages 5 and 8. they could wander around the gardens and the pool was perfect for them. there is a separate wading pool and the main pool had shallow ends on both sides. loved the way the pool looks like it goes right to edge of ocean. the only problem was that the tides were too high during the daytime the week we were there, so we couldn't go down to the beach until the last day. when the tide is low enough, the sand is great for building sand castles and you can walk a long way in both directions along the beach. this end of the beach is not crowded, unlike the center of hua hin. overall, i would definitely recommend this hotel.

Well-appointed property in Hua Hin”
The property is modelled on Rama VI-era architecture. This gives the property unrivalled historical feel unlike many other new hotels I have stayed in Hua Hin. Guest rooms are very well-appointed and staff are courteous and friendly. Although quite some way away from downtown Hua Hin, the property benefits from quieter beaches, previously reserved for those fortunate enough to own holiday homes in this area. The hotel also provides free shuttle bus in the evening for those without own transport. We are very likely to come back to Wora Bura.

Excellent Service!!!”
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and i would say that the stay was amazing. The property is very clean with an adjoining beach. It has a large swimming pool which is good. Their service was very prompt. The rooms were spacious and clean. Only one thing i found surprising was that there is no free breakfast for children even if you opt for room with free breakfast. They charge you separately if your children want to have breakfast. The last thing which is worth mentioning is that while travelling to Bangkok Airport from Hua Hin we had hired a van from the hotel itself. While we were dropped on the Bangkok Airport, after some time we realised that we had left our Apple Iphone in the van itself. We immediately communicated this to the hotel and the hotel staff informed that the driver has found the mobile phone and was on his way to the Bangkok Airport. After around 1 hour 30 mins the driver of the van reached the airport and delivered the Iphone. A million thanks to Wora Bura!!!

Little Gem in HuaHin”
We stayed one night at Wora Bura in the deluxe room and it was fabulous. We actually regretted for only booking one night! I was a little skeptical when booking because there were so many places in Huahin that looked so nice in the pictures but the reviews were not so nice. However Wora Bura had good reviews so I trusted them and booked. The Deluxe room was very spacious and clean. The kind sized bed was very comfortable. Our room was on the first floor with the garden view. It was also close to the pool which was nice. The resort itself was very quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. It is in Thai colonial style which was nice to experience. If you're looking for a place to relax then this is the place for you. We originally had plans to visit HuaHin markets but we just decided to enjoy the resort. I was told they have shuttle buses that take you to HuaHin center. The pool is fairly big with a view of the beach, which is just gorgeous. It was open from 7am-7pm. It would have been nicer if the pool was opened till later. We ordered food by the pool which was delicious and for dinner we went next door to Let's Sea resort. Breakfast buffet was included with the room. The beach is nice to take walks but wouldn't recommend swimming in it. We saw a dead jellyfish on shore. The staff was very kind, always helpful, and gave a tour of the resort as well as our room. This resort was beyond my expectations and great value for the price. It's also close to the HuaHin bus station so we just took a tuktuk/taxi for 120 baht (first they said 150) when we arrived from Bangkok by Bell Travel bus. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitlely go back!!

Colonial hotel amidst beautiful gardens, pool ”
When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a welcome drink while the front desk checked us in. The walk through the hotel grounds to our room was a pleasure to see. When we opened the door to our large deluxe room we felt right at home. The décor was in the old colonial style with a balcony overlooking the garden. The only complaint I have is the lack of an elevator to the third floor. This I might add was my own fault because over the phone they asked me if I wanted accommodations on the ground floor or higher up. I choose the third floor. In hindsight I should have asked for a ground floor room. They were willing to move me straight away and I chose to stay. I give the Wora Bura Resort & Spa an A+ on the staff, room, gardens, and breakfast. I also want to note that they have beautiful suites (including a honeymoon suite) next to the pool and ocean. If you are looking for an upscale hotel ,we highly recommend the Wora Bura Resort & Spa

Excellent, Wonderful, Amazing experience”
My family and I wish we could've stayed longer but we only have 7 days to see Thailand and have to spend the rest of our stay in Bangkok. Wora Bura Resort & Spa is good for honeymooners, married couple who wants to give their spouse a romantic getaway, for families with young and old children. It can also be for single travelers if you like a laid back resort feel on your vacation. Only complain I have are the mosquitoes which I have mentioned to the hotel on my check-out review. The management sent me a prompt email that they will make sure to take care of the problem for future guests. It wasn't much of a big deal for me and my family since we're always out doing something. Keep up the good work Wora Bura !!!

Nostalgic Moments at Wora Bura Resort and Spa”
I went to Wora Bura resort with my family and was immensely impressed. Architectural design of the hotel buildings was peculiar, inspired by several palaces in Bangkok, Petchaburi, such as Dusit Palace and Mrigatayawan Palace. I am a Thai person myself and was truly amazed by how well it was executed. Every building was beautifully embellished with delicate wood carved pieces, designed in Victorian style. The furniture in each room was also a highlight, as it was perfect blend of modern and Hepplewhite 1940's style. If you come to Huahin and would like to enjoy that genuine, old-school moment, Wora Bura is truly an amazing option to consider. The service was near flawless as well. Hotel staffs were all delightful and well-dressed. Breakfast was great, although there were not too many options available during weekdays. During weekends, however, fresh soymilks and noodles were offered.

Love this resort”
I can't say enough nice things about Wora Bura. The design, decor, grounds, etc.. are wonderful. Beachfront location also steps from lively Cicada weekend market (art, crafts, live music and food mostly, not the usual night market). The staff are event more exceptional. They surprised us on my wifes's birthday with a cake that had her name on it and the staff wished her "happy birthday" the whole day - as if they knew her as a friend. I'm not sure how they knew (probably her Thai I.D.), but it was a sweet and thoughtful surprise. They discounted a day at the spa and dinner for her as well. She wanted to stay there forever. Priced much more afforably than a typical 5-star hotel. Thanks for everything Wora Bura Resort!

Wora Bura”
Overall, I was really impressed with the Wora Bura. The staff was friendly, the hotel was tastefully decorated with an old fashion flare but still with all of the modern amenities. I also liked the location which was only about 1 km (walking distance) from Khao Takiap (Buddha mountain) and local fishing village. I am sure to return to Hua Hin and will definetly stay at the Wora Bura again.

Beautiful & unique hotel”
Wora Bura is a beautiful hotel with a character. We love the room decor and the rocking chair at the balcony. The staff are all professionally trained and spoke excellent English. The pool size was just right for the development. The direct access to the beach made the walk to the Khao Takiab temple a lovely one. We had a great time at Wora Bura and certainly look forward to returning again.

One of my all time favourties”
The Worabura is really a beautiful place to unwind. It is located about 5 minutes from the city center on the main beach of Hua Hin. The beach is not quite as beautiful as e.g. Samui, but it stretches all the way over to Hua Hin center, and you can walk for miles and just enjoy the fresh air. The pool area of the hotel is absolutely gorgeous with lots of plants and flowers and a nice little restaurant and bar. It's really quiet for a nice relaxing get away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Check out the beach bar for some drinks before dinner. Rooms are spacious and decorated in style, dark, wooden furniture with modern appliances here and there give it a nice touch. The bottom floors have a little terrace while the second floor rooms have a balcony.

A luxury hotel on the beach with charming design.”
A unique boutique hotel with a colonial design and very beautiful garden. Rooms are large and as fully facilitated as any other 5-star hotels..Bathroom has shower, rain shower and bath tub, and fully equipped with toileteries. Beds are big and comfortable. There's a balcony overlooking the garden in every room. Don't be put off by the lack of seaview from the room because the beauty of the garden and the whole surroundings of the hotel weighted much over that. And the hotel is located on the beach with no road in between so can be convenient. Food at their restaurants are pricey but very good (except the curry). The river prawn with basil sauce on hot plate taste much better than at the other famous restaurant in Hua hin (The only complaint would be that the prawns were too small). And the crab cake was the best of its kind. Breakfast was lovely and had more selection of food than I expected considering that it was included in the room price...Felt more like a brunch than breakfast. The downside of the hotel is that it's a bit away from the center, and their free shuttle bus doesn't operate upon calling, but only run on schedule 4-5 times a day. Can be inconvenient if your arrival/departure time doesn't match their schedule. But taxis are not difficult to find. Staffs are friendly and attentive. Despite the hotel being fully booked with groups and parties, the hotel managed very well to keep the noise from other customers so that I didn't feel disturbed at all. Well done about that. Will definitely return.
