Very good quality-price”
The room looks better than the pictures, it's very clean, spacious and you have AC or Fan to choose. The windows have mosquito nets and the whole place is surrounding by nature. The common areas are really nice, they have a big kitchen and a place where to socialize. The best thing is that after you check out, you can stay longer in the place (for 50pesos) and use the services that they offer. This was perfect for us as we needed to wait for our night bus to Palenque. They also have a nice storage place on the reception where you can leave your bag. Continental breakfast was included in the price and it was really nice too. Located very closed to the center and ADO bus station.

On the greener side of the fence”
This hostel is pretty good in comparison to others in the area. The staff are charming and the dorms exceptional. An inclusive short trip to their patch on the amorphously blue sacred waters beats the breakfast offered. Bacalar is one of the most beautiful areas on the Quintana Roo coastal trail, boasting distinct artistic vibes and good food. Also, nearby Chetumal is a winner for dental work - a (simple) wisdom tooth extraction costs $1000 peso. Don't forget to visit the Galeon Pirata and Ojitos La Catrina for drinks and live music. I'll be back in Bacalar before too long.... for Festival de Arte Independiente de Bacalar. Staying at Yaxche again is definitely a possibility.

Great location and facilities but noisy!”
The only reason we left this place was because it was too noisy to sleep. We were in a tent near a dog cage and the dogs barked and fought all night. Also the bells from a church near by went off ever hour on Sunday mornings starting at six. Other than the noise we loved this place. People are very friendly and provide free transport to their beautiful location by the lagoon.

El lugar está ubicado en el centro de Bacalar y es fácil de llegar. Las habitaciones son de buen tamaño, hay espacio para no sentirse muy encerrado. Tiene aire acondicionado. Lo que no me gustó es que los dormitorios son mixtos, pero yo estuve un solo día y descansé bien. El hostal es amplio y se respira buen ambiente, ofrece un ligero desayuno. También hay diariamente algunas actividades para que convivan los huéspedes. Una sugerencia: que cada cama tuviera su propia luz, un foco pequeño, para poder ver y no tener que encender la luz general.

Convient à tous types de budgets (tentes, dortoirs, chambres privées). Le personnel était aimable et serviable. Le petit déjeuner assez basique mais bon. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter du beach club à cause de la pluie pendant notre séjour. Nous avons pris le tour en bateau sur la lagune proposé sur place qui était super. Ambiance dans le camping assez froide.
