The dinner and breakfast included are very good, and the staff is very nice and provided us with good service. However, the hotel is a bit far from the JR station. Although we can walk there in 15 mins, it's better to take taxi with our bulky luggage (around 1000 yen)

Unbelievable Accomodations, Service, and Culinary Delight”
We love Onsens and this was a true delight from beginning to end. We arrived early on the train. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from Yudaonsen Station. Very easy to get to. We were met as we arrived with smiling faces of ladies in Kimono. The front desk staff was very accommodating and allowed us to leave our baggage for a small fee before check in so we could enjoy discovery of the area and finding lunch without bags. The front desk does not speak much English but they were very helpful and it was not a problem. When we returned, we were shown to our room by another beautiful lady in a Kimono. We had a Western/Japanese style room with a bath in the room. The room was beautiful with two Western style beds and Japanese sitting room with tatami mats and beautiful wood and rice paper sojo screen doors. There was traditional Japanese style table with floor dhairs. Beautifully appointed. Our hostess made us comfortable at the table and made tea for us. We sipped tea while she explained about the hotel and the area in English. Her English was very good and we were able to understand all that she said. This was a very considerate gesture for the hotel and we greatly appreciated this. She also prepared the bath in our room which had water from the spring at the Onsen. It was worth extra to be able to enjoy a private experience in our room and enjoy the public baths too. Our package came with both dinner and breakfast. We were provided with Yakata and a jacket for both enjoying baths and all other functions in the hotel. This included being able to go to the restaurant there. The dinner was an unbelievable culinary experience. All dining areas are in a very Zen fashion which allow for public but private dining experiences. We had many courses of local specialties including blow-fish (fugu) which is a Japanese delicacy that must be specially prepared. loved everything about the hotel. I recommend to get with the breakfast and dinner (Seafood)package. The Dinner package will offer you fugu (Puffer Fish) sashimi. The Onsen offered so much free beauty products that you can try. The traditional tatami room was very spacious and very nice.

広く、清潔できちんと換気されていて安心して利用できた。脱衣所もキレイ。 利用した部屋は空調管理が一括のため冷暖房の指定ができないが、暑い旨を伝えたら送風機を貸していただけた。 スタッフの方も皆親切で笑顔がすてき。また利用したいと思うホテルです。

今回広めの部屋を確保し、到着時刻から夕食が間に合うか微妙なところでしたが、間に合ったので 夕食を追加いたしましたが、別料金で見ると少し高い感じがしました。夕食無しで近くの食事処でも良かった気がします。
