Delightful Yufuin Getaway at Iyotomi”
We just returned from a delightful weekend in Yufuin, an adorable onsen town with many shops and restaurants to explore, but to be honest, my favorite part of this trip was relaxing at Iyotomi after a long day of exploring. We stayed in a traditional Japanese tatami room with the most comfortable futon bedding. My favorite part about staying at ryokans is access to the baths/onsen. The set up here was a little different than other places I've stayed. There are five baths/onsen (one outdoors) available to guests on a first-come, first-serve basis. When you select an open bath, you simply lock the door behind you to instantly make it a private affair. This can be a little tricky if it's busy, but I liked the idea of being able to choose which one you want to use whenever you feel like it. The Japanese style breakfast the next morning was enjoyable. I always love having so many different options to choose. I enjoyed Yufuin so much and would not hestitate to stay here again.

If you want to stay in Yufuin, Iyotomi is the best place to stay! Not only the facilities was good but also the room,breakfast and dinner were perfect. Importantly,the staff was very nice and kind. They always tried to help us and concerned about our stay. worth it!!!!!!!!!!!! we will definitely come back again : )

Amazing stay”
Location was easily accessible by car from Yufuin town. Free parking spaces available too. Dinner and breakfast included were really good! The sashimi and hotpot served during dinner was unforgettable! Service was really good too, the staff happily helped us to make booking reservation at restaurants. We enjoyed the private bath. Room was a little smaller than expected and the futon was quite thin. But overall was a pleasant stay and good value.

The food was awesome. The buffet breakfast had a lot of choices. The dinner had many courses and the taste and the portion were great. The hotspring facilities were very nice. The room (western style) was clean and tidy. Had a wonderful stay there.

Excellent hostel”
A very nice experience. Great dinner and breakfast are provided. The breakfast made my day. The outdoor hot spring is satisfying and big enough for two people. The design of the house is with Japanese style and is relaxing. However, the toilet in room is a bit smelly. Anyway, I would recommend to my friends and will come back if I visit Fukuoka next time.

Nice location, excellent staff and good onsen”
The location of the hotel is in the center of the city I would say. It's possible to walk to almost all the attractions and it would be also better to drive in Yufuin in my opinion (also the hotel has parking lots). We stayed in a room with our own bathtub for 2 nights. The bathtub is the outdoor so I think it won't be a good choice if the weather is too cold. Howver, the hotel also provides another five shared bathrooms and one of them is a big outdoor one which is very impressive. the staff is great also. The price is quite high in my opinion since they have no breakfast included.

Away from busy town”
It's a very short drive from town, hotel parking was located opposite road. Be aware the signboard of this hotel is very small. Overall a nice place to stay, you can check the onsen is available or not right now by apps or have a look on the board at corridor.

Amazing outdoor hot spring”
There was no need to leave hotel after checkin. Just enjoy the fantastic hot springs. The outdoor one especially is huge, beautiful and so relaxing. Good quality kaiseki dinner and breakfast.

The food was really good. The room is clean. The private hot spring is good. Just a bit far away and it takes 10 mins around. But it's acceptable and easy to get there.

Accessible hotel at affordable price ”
Yufuin Iyotomi is located at the city centre of Yufuin, most shops and sightseeing spots are within walking distance. The room is quite small in a traditional Japanese style. Meals are included and food are delicious. There is a system to view the hot spring availability which enable guests to have more privacy.

The hotel has 5 private onsen which is good for traveler who want privacy. We are miss the dinner but breakfast has variety of food and good taste. Also, the hotel location is nice just 7 minute from Yufuin Station.

Must try their Outdoor Onsen ”
Book this hotel at the very last minute. Take quite some walk from the station to the hotel. At first I was a bit worried about their online onsen booking system as no advance booking to secure a time- slot. But turned out that it worked fine, I have had 3 onsens for just one-night stay - one before dinner, one at midnight and the last one in the next morning before departure. Their outdoor onsen is fantastic!
