The hotel is 1 year + old so that it is clean. The room is not large but just enough to stay for overnight for a good sleep. Expected distance from KL Sentral Station, it's about 5 minute walk. Only the distance from the station is making the difference in pricing from other hotels of the same level which are nearer to the station. I would like to recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a good place to stay near KL Sentral. Note : The hotel you book on Agoda is ZEN Rooms KL Sentral, but they will inform you by email that you should look for GDS Sentral Hotel instead. It is a bit confusing if you do not know.

Excellent! The room was fully-equipped with all the basics, exceeded my expectations, for the rate I paid. The room was clean and pleasant, toilet and bath was spacious. The hotel staff at GDS Sentral were equally amazing. I'd probably stay in the same hotel whenever I'm back in Kuala Lumpur. This experience deserves 5 shining stars

I really love the hotel. It's small but sufficient, the room was beautiful, the bathroom was so good, with the perfect shower, water pressure was great. They have ironing board at the hall. Hair dryer's in the bathroom. The room was small (but really okay) but the bathroom was really roomy and looked mordern. In conclusion, I absolutely love it and I wish I had booked it earlier (since I just booked it for one night then I left KL). The location was great, it's in Little India, walking distance to KL Sentral. And keep looking for Hotel gds, I almost missed it because "Zen room" sign was super small, I just tried walking into the hotel acccording to my Google maps and inside, it had a "Zen room" sign. Overall, good value for money. I would absolutely recommend it to my friends!

Great Loction”

This hotel is located in the heart of Brickfield's Little India in Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia, and is within walking distance to numerous mouthwatering Indian non-vegetarian and vegetarian restaurants, KL Sentral (KL's main railway hub), the NU Sentral Shopping Center, Bangsar, the Temple of Fine Arts and the Vivikenanda Ashram.

Recommended place”

Stayed here just for transit (7hrs) before my next bus trip. Location- just about 700-800m walking from nu sentral in little india st. Room- i stayed at std room.. Have to pay deposit rm50. queen bed, large tv, good shower, ac functioning well, hairdryer, water bottle.. Room size is a bit small. But really worth it since u got everytg for ur selves.. Compared if u stay at backpackers hostel which i found cheapest rm30, but have to share room with many others and outside shared bathroom.. Before i stayed here, i did check baggage locker price in kl sentral which costs rm30 for medium size and rm50 for large size.. But i got this room for just rm60 where i can keep my bag safely, rest my body, have refreshing shower.. So i would recommend this place 😉

Great option”

Pros Great location just 5/6min walk to Nu sentral or Kl sentral station, neat & clean room, strong wifi & AC, ironing facilities provided, near to lot of Indian food shops, clean towel & bed spread, Tv , elevator Cons Sometimes it may get noisy because of the loud music outside,room is small & no toiletries. But these were not a problem for me and i didnt hear any loud noise & my room was ok for one person. Would love to stay there again. Good deal at reasonable price.

The staff are amazing..I'm not sure the indian lady name in front desk are really good heart person and really take care about customer. I not really support the zen room because in middle of night I went to this hotel n they said its fully booked and my paid room not available. I don't know what to do and i have to stay out all night and sat near road. I felt really terrified.In same time not agoda company really helpful with their policy because they more bias to zen room management not customer friendly. I not blame agoda staff because some are really good and they try their level best to get some solution.Appreciate the agoda customer service stuff at least they try. But as usual they said nothing much can do because the zen room not agree and they only offer for bad quality hotel as replacement or get refund. I felt really unfair because not my fault which I booked and paid earlier. Luckily I booked the next day too.hotel staff so kind allow me early check in.. I missed interview

Confusing location though”

It was confusing to find the location if you are walking as there are a few ZEN Rooms Hotel near KL Sentral such as " ZEN Rooms KL Bricksfield " on the Google Maps whilst this was named as " ZEN Rooms Jalan Tun Sambanthan " That aside, the humble hotel is situated at the lively street of Little India. The room although small, was very clean and tidy and great for the night. There is a flat screen TV, electric kettle, some coffee and tea and mineral water. Do note there are no fancy facilities such as swimming pool or dining area. I would definitely come back here. Price is great too.

Satisfying stay! :)”

Walking distance from KL Sentral. We arrived way past midnight, check in was quick, no hassle and Sam, the receptionist that greeted us was very accommodating. The room smelled nice and we were given a big room with windows. We were surprised with the amenities such as water heater(for coffees), bidet, hairdryer and refrigerator. You wouldn't expect those for the price that you paid. They have running hot water, towels, soap and shampoo, but bring along your own toothbrush as that's the one that's lacking. Also, cable tv channels are limited, but we were out most of the time and didn't mind it at all. Just one downside of our stay was the aircon that was leaking. However, we really didn't mind it as the ac was near the bathroom. We didn't want to hassle ourselves, so we just ask housekeeping to clean the room in the morning. They clean very well, give fresh towels and replenish the coffee, tea and water bottles everytime. Thank you, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay! :)

A very comfortable stay. ”

Firstly, we had quite a confusing time trying to find this place. It is located inside this Hotel gds. Also, I requested for a large bed, but they came with 2 single beds and the hair dryer was not working. That's the only negative side. The rest of our stay is amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable to stay in. The location is a 6 minutes walking distance to KL Sentral train station and NU Sentral mall, which was very convenient to us. Overall extremely satisfied! Highly recommended

(+) 1. Check in and WIFI is fast. 2. Receptionist rated OK, warm enough. 3. Cleaning service is Good, very nice to us, provide everything you need. 4. Safe around the hotel and environment. I don't feel any bad or listen to loud music since my room is not near to outside. It's very quiet. 5. Hot water best. (-) 1. Toileteries is not like what you see is agoda. They only provide shampoo and small soap. 2. Lamp only one. No bedside lamp so when you sleep only can turn toilet lamp to keep it lighted. 3. 550m from KL Sentral. So don't worry about transportation. You just need to walk and exercise a little. Also very easy to call grab or taxi. 4. Not much to complain about. I really enjoy and love this hotel. Overall rating for one week stay is 9/10. Thank you so much.

Amazing Service”

This is the first time for me to book with Zen Rooms. The experience was remarkable. From the booking process (amazing price deal) and was a breeze. The team responded with a confirmation email in less than 10 minutes. And checking in at the hotel was pleasant. Although the location is a little crowded due to the festive season but the hotel is very well kept and the rooms are one of the cleanest room i ever checked in to as compare to other hotels. The experience can be sum up to be a short stay but exceptional experience of hospitality.

My humble home in KL Sentral”

First, I would want to commend the accommodating and very professional staff of Hotel GDS. I travelled to KL by myself and I didn't get to feel the feeling of being homesick since the staff are all friendly and hands on when it comes to the needs of their guests. There was even this one morning that the housekeeping staff knocked on my door to voluntarily offer a make up room. Second, is the availability of one of necessities in traveling, particularly the fast internet connection especially at the lobby area. Another commendation are the cleanliness and size of the room, I was not actually expecting that the room would be that be spacious. All in all, I would definitely recommend Hotel GDS.

Worth the price ”

Perfect for solo travelling, worth the price, very convenient to move around, nearby to KL Sentral. The frontdesk was so helpful and assisted me in getting checked in 2 hours before which was great as i had traveled for 8+ hrs on flight. The rooms were clean, you cant ask for more for what you have paid. Various Indian restaurants down the lane.

Nice place with good window view”

I like this hotel due to its cleanliness and comfy room. Located in the central of KL, near with KL Sentral Station but a little bit far away if you try to walk on foot to this hotel. This hotel placed in an India-neighborhood so you will smell kind of spice whenever go out of this hotel. You also will hear some India music at night due to this property is close to the India market. I also like this hotel window's view which is a city-landscape sight.

Its very cheap & affordable. Quite far from KL Sentral but still okay. Like 10 mins walking. Comfortable room, they provide heater in the bathroom & water kettle available in the room. Hotel provides iron & ironing board outside room for everyone to use

Middle of Little India”

Its right in the middle of Little India. It's a vibrant place with loud Indian music, eating places and shops. About 10 mins walk from KL Sentral railway station. The room was very small (because I booked a windowless room) but the attached bathroom was ok. No breakfast is provided but there's enough Indian eating places as you step out that are open by 6.00 am. Try pongal rice and roti prata and Teh Tarik.

A great find”

Only a little further down from KL Sentral in Little India. In the middle of the fun however no street noise from the room. Rooms are new and although mine was small it was perfect for one person and I understand there are larger rooms too. Staff were fantastic. Well worth the extra 500m stroll.

Worth the price”

Excellent hotel with great value. Big room, big bathroom, working A/C, cable tv, big window, mini fridge, good pressure water. Everything was tip top only one down side, which is lack of carpark for in-house guest. But for budget and business traveler, it is perferct choice and i definitely will come back whenever i visit kuala lumpur. Very good hotel. Keep it up GDS
