Nice hostel in a good location ”

We really enjoyed our stay at sahabat guesthouse. The rooms are basic but clean with good air con. The communal areas are nice with tea and coffee supplied daily. Breakfast was included in the price which consisted of toast with a choice of jams or cereal. The location of the guesthouse is brilliant, not far from the shops and restaurants in Bukit Bintang. Overall we felt that sahabat guesthouse was excellent value for money and perfect for any budget traveller.

Value for Money”

Great location. Walking distance about 4 mins to local eateries and about 8 mins to Jalan Alor and 10mins to Bukit Bintang train station. Best to take the MRT exit/enter near the KFC. However, I usually take Grab if going to the malls ie Pavilion, KLCC etc since it is easy and affordable to grab car. Guest house is also safe for solo traveler. The room and its bathroom are bigger than what I expected. Clean as well. For your comfort, bring shampoo, conditioner, facial wash as only body wash is provided. Best also if you have an extension wire as the working outlet was a bit far from the bed and desk. Overall, Sahabat Guesthouse is a safe and nice place to stay. Definitely would book again if I visit KL again.

Spotless budget hotel with great staff”

The rooms are modest, but they are spotless, well air-conditioned and there are large common areas available. The wifi is great across the hotel, and it is centrally located in the safe Bukit Bintang area, near the monorail and the Twin Towers. However, what really sets the hotel apart is the staff, who are willing and able to help in any way they can. For example, we stayed at Sahabat to see KL, then explored other parts of Malaysia, and returned to KL to fly home. The staff were keen to give advice about where to visit in Malaysia, they stored our excess luggage for the week we were travelling around Malaysia, then when we returned to pick it up and fly out, they gave us a place to repack, offered us a shower, even providing us with towels despite us not staying there at that point. The holiday would certainly have been less comfortable if we had stayed elsewhere.

Clean Guesthouse”

We thought that Sahabat Guesthouse is just the same with other guesthouse that is poorly if not averagely maintained place. I was so surprised to see that our room is very clean and spacious. Even the floor is clean, no traces of dust, you can feel it because footwear is not allowed inside the guesthouse (Malaysian practice). The comfort room is well maintained too. The interiors are nicely designed. We stayed at Saffron room facing the road but it is quiet. It has a balcony and our wifi connection is fast maybe because we are near the wifi antenna. There is breakfast but just basic - cereals, bread, coffee, tea. Enough to make you on the go. There's a nearby 24-hour convenience store. 5-10 minute walk to Jalan Alor, food street. If you're taking HOHO tour there's a nearby bus stop. KL tower can be seen if you're outside. This guesthouse is highly recommended when it comes to cleanliness and value for money.

Affordable Guest House Room with Own Toilet”

Affordable- will save your money for food (for us) Strategic Location- Bars and Street Food Market JalanAlor is just a block away, Walkable going to Twin Tower on the other side, and accessible to Bukit Bintang Station. Cleanliness- Superb for Affordable Guesthouse. White and Bright all around (Main Bldg is Blue). From entrance , Common Areas like Living Area, Pantry, Dining, Stairs, Corridors, thru Room and Toilet itself. Staff- Sweet Sue. Facilities- Door Access is great. AC is well functioning. Bed is comfy and clean. Toilet have heater, bidet, Towels, tissue, hangers. Pantry is open anytime for Drinks. Breakfast is light only (toast/cereals) but still a plus for accom cost compare with others. There's no TV but Wifi was working well so you can go netflixing.

Great location, clean mini hotel in KL, super affordable!”

Sahabat Guesthouse is located right in the center. It’s just a 10 min easy walk to the main square. The rooms are simple, and very clean. I like the cleanwhite sheets they use on the bed. There’s hot water in the shower. They serve a simple cereal breakfast for all the guests. There’s really nothing that was wrong! Everything was great, even the security of the hotel was good. If you are looking for a cheap but clean place to stay this mini hotel does the job!

Clean”

Sahabat is near and accessible to all kinds of transportation you needed when you're up to visiting malaysia's tourist spots, it's just within bukit bintang area. It's very clean and comfortable place to stay and affordable. Staffs are friendly and accommodating.

Comfortable night right in Bukit Bintang”

We had a good night in Sahabat. Although it's pretty central located in Bukit Bintang, it's quite a hassle reaching it by public transport if you want to avoid paying taxi fares. The monorail station is about a 10 min walk. The bus staion is an even further walk of about 25 min (it's no usetaking public transport since you'd be taken through town, which already takes longer and still end up walking for 10min from the monorail station. To the airport we had to walk to the monorailstation, and change to the LCCT shuttle bus at the trainstation. All and all that very smooth and we were at the airport in about 1,5 hr. For Sahabat itself, nice place, quiet, good atmosphere, clean rooms, good beds, no wifi in our room.

perfect SAHABAT”

The SAHABAT guesthouse is nice hotel for family' tour. because the room was clean and very comfortable. In addition, the staff was very friendly. The alley of the guesthouse is near the club. In conclusion, this hotel is the best.

1. The location is very good, because Sahabat is just near the shopping area and it's not far from the KLCC(by taxi about 10 mins).Also there has night market and small supermarket so don't worry about the eating problem. 2. The guesthouse offers simple breakfast and its very good for us in a rush morning. 3. The price is affordable to everyone and the room is very clean & relax. 4. You can borrow the hairdryer from the reception desk,its very useful for girls! 4. Anyway,It's really a good place to stay and i will recommend it to everyone!

amazing! ”

My bf and I stayed there for few days.it was one of the BEST amazing experience.very impressive. 1 minutes to bar street,3 minutes the street food street,close to everything. Design is super awesome,decoration is cozy and morden at the same time.common area is great.Stuff is most friendly and helpful. we stayed one night there ,unfortunately no more room after we decided to stay few more nights so we moved out for a night and because its super nice place to stay so we booked twin room for another 2 more nights so that we could keep staying there.(no more standard double room available) when we moved back another night they change it to a luxury double room for free.that s amazing,and extremely nice of them. I Have a great visit in KL and I will definetely go back again and stay in sahabat again. THANK YOU !

Not Fancy but comfortable in good location”

a good budget stay, well maintained. one of the quietest air conditioners ever heard was much appreciated in the kuala lumpur heat. the street immediately behind the guesthouse has some of the best restaurants and local nightlight....very convenient!

Like home sweet home”

This is the second time, I stayed here. Right behind Jalan Changkat Bukit Bintang, just within 10 min walk from Bukit Bintang monorail station. Clean rooms with attached bathroom. the whole area is very quiet, despite the fact that the street next to it has the busiest night life ever.

KL”

The room in Sahabat is very nice and clean. The staffs are very nice and helpful. Feel very good to have a vacation at Sahabat in KL. The hostel nears the Golden triangle, we can find shopping mall, food street and spa easily, just need around 5-10 minutes. Highly recommand this hostel

excellent stay! I would definitely recommend it”

this is my go to place when I stay in Kuala Lumpur. It is spotless clean and the staff is really nice. The only thing I would suggest is to change the mattresses because they are worn out, at least for the rooms on the ground floor. Also the Wi-Fi connection could be faster, but it was OK. Over all, it is a pleasant stay!

Excellent”

Very homey. This listing is literally a house with lots of room. Aircon is strong so one can have a restful sleep. Wifi can be quite spotty. Though it is located in bustling Bukit Bintang, the guesthouse is very quiet and conducive for sleeping. Staff is also very accommodating.

Good location, very helpful staff. We stayed at Sahabat guesthouse the first night we arrived in Malaysia and the last night before the flight, they have also done a deposit service for one of my big luggage for a very convenient prize! I am very grateful!

I love it”

I used double room. The bathroom is small, but it's clean. Room is okay and air condition is good, but it smell is like strawberry jam, and I don't like it. Free breakfast is toast and cereal. It was good. I love its location. It is very close to changkat Bukit Bintang and Jalan Alor.

Did what it was supposed to....”

We enjoyed our stay at sahabat house our first room at the back suffered from a bit of noise that came from bar street. However, it was not that bad. The guesthouse is kept clean and the staff are helpful. It is located in a good area handy to get to all different sights.
