SLOW CHECK IN”
Great apartment at a great location! Very comfortable bedding. Well equipped kitchen. Cold aircon after initial switch on. Make sure to leave your phone number during booking at the additional request section so that the apartment managers can contact you. Only 100 unit of Dorsett Residences are managed by Dorsett Hotel. The rest are managed by independent managers. So be sure to leave behind your contact phone numbers so that the managers can get your keys ready before your arrival. Otherwise you will have to wait at least 40 mins like me. Apart from this small hiccup, my stay was a 9.5/10!

Went there in a group of 4 adults and 1 2-year old child. Check in was easy and our stay was overall satisfied! Basic amenities were provided, great shower room and AC was so cold. Pretty pool and comfortable gym too. Location wise, very conveniently located in the heart of Bukit Bintang. Just buzz their Customer Service whatsapp should you require anything they will respond hastily. Prolly need more vacuuming behind the curtains (heavy curtains) which has dust balls already (prolly wont need find out if you do not need to open the curtain).

It’s a nice apt building, the building and the unit still look fairly new. There’s no staff only security there, it’s a self check in process but it’s really easy. The unit itself looked quite clean but really dusty, I have allergy and it was acting up. I had to clean the whole apt, under the master bed was very dusty and dirty, it looked like it wasn’t being cleaned well/the supervisor didn’t check it thoroughly (?). The bathroom is always wet bcs it didn’t have shower curtain, and the master bathroom always have water coming out of the shower (while showering). Overall it was ok, would stay there again bcs of the location.

Late deposit refund and no update”
Contactless check-in/out process is good, however unprofessional management need to improve. It's 'no sorry for the delay' type of service. Do stick to the agreement as given to customers.
Very convenient as the residence is walking distances to Pavilion KL. However, we had to wait for long hours to check in. The phone number provided was landline and no one attended to our call. Recommend to get the cell number of the owner for easy communication. The pool no longer have the full view of KLCC but was still worth it. The residences was big and very comfortable, just hope for it to be a little more cleaner as there was still dust around. There was no cutlery available but there was pots and plates. Overall, it was a good stay for us.

I would not comment about everything else but one thing...the color of the water is terrible...like tea... OMG. please dont stay if you have a sensitive skin conditions.
A run down residence ”
Although it is not a very old building, but the rooms are poorly maintained. Wallpaper peeled off, cracked here and there. TV not working, stains everywhere.

STAY AWAY ”
1. Linen for extra bed was not prep on time. 2. 2nd bathroom wc cant be flushed properly. 3. Plug for bathtub is not working well. When complained, their reply is to use a knife to remove the plug. 4. Sponge to wash dishes is flithy, green and slimy. 5. Internet connection is poor 6. It has been a week since I checkin on this date of review, and I have yet to receive my Refundable deposit. No response when i ttexted 3x. And I had to ask for it. Just stay away. I made the mistake of thinking this is Dorset Hotel, only realised after paying that this is the service residence next door. Stay far far away from this kind of poor accommodation.

A stay that did not happen”
First of all, we did not stay at Dorsett residence even though we booked 2 x 2 Bedroom. For this I cannot comment on the cleanliness and facilities. Why we choose not to check in. Check in process is frustrating, no one was on site to assist in checking in. Initially we went to the residence side and was told that our accommodation is with the Hotel side. After queuing and reaching our turn, we were told by the Hotel side our stay is at Residence side. Frustrated? Yes! Whatsapp the number to check and confirm it is at residence side, no one was station at residence side to assist. There were 3 security guards, a table with rows of forms. The security guards are either not equip with knowledge of check in or do not care or maybe due to language barrier, whichever the case it created a very unpleasant experience. Security guard are for security, I do understand that they are not meant to do front desk job, in such scenario why the operator did not get someone who is able to cover front desk role to help ensure a smooth check in process? Cost cutting purpose? So now whatsapp is the main “Check in” communication, I seriously did not expect this as I booked Dorsett which is an international brand. We drove down from Cameron Highland and wanted to check in have a short rest, shower before going out for a walk about but the information on when room is ready never came. We enquire about the estimated time, only reply we got was (exact wordings) “Self check-in template will be sent if the unit is ready, once received means can collect key in the mailbox and check in”. No estimated time, how long do we have to wait? 1 hour, 3 hours? Frustrated? Not this time! Together with the rude security guards, this time is Angry! Walked over to another Hotel (Not Dorsett) check in within 10 mins and got on with our day. Guess what, not 1 room from Dorsett residence is even ready! First room came after while eating late lunch at 3:05 pm, second room was only ready at 6:20 pm when we we
Deceived by reviews”
The reviews were awesome and hence I decided to stay in this hotel. However, we were so disappointed to check in and found out that the room is so run down. The air con of one of the room is portable. The rubbish in the toilet from previous guest remained uncleared. There is no amenities in the toilet, only unlabeled shampoo and shower gel. There is no reception counter at all! So you cannot even deposit your bag upon check out. Overall i am very disappointed that Dorsett as I view the hotel as a 4 star hotel but what I got is just like a boutique hotel.

Only 3 things work.Aircond,fridge and microwave. Key entry,door handle loose,no security latch,no eye hole. No dedicated WiFi line so cannot watch TV, just keeps churning. Washing machine could wash but dryer spoilt. Water leak from kitchen sink. No safe No proper ironing board.Iron in poor condition. No drinking water bottles,no tea,coffee etc.. poor cutlery,no tissue boxes. No housekeeping to change bed linen. Lounge glass top coffee table has large crack. Poor bedding and bed linen.Bath towels poor condition.Poor bath mats. Location good.

The service is very bad. I was paid for stay at the platform from the 11 morning until 3 pm i waited for check in. Thier won't respond your communication. Is it call customer service..?? The water also very dirty. Even though after complaint asli Thier never take any action.. I prefer don't take this house. Just making terrible. Sorry for the late review because of to buzy.. just wanna help other people to make best choice.
Our check in time is 3pm as mentioned on agoda, before you booked should read check in time, water issue for this area problem and fixed, not only our house whole area.... If you want to help other ppl for mention check in time is 3pm, its already writing on agoda :)
ants were crawling on the floor, over the sink and in the toilets. The rooms are small and there was no cutlery in the kitchen.We have to ask for more toilet papers everyday as well as towels.
